Happy Halloween...

Hi guys.
I wanted to drop in real quick and wish you all a Spook-tac-ular Halloween.  I have been very very busy lately and it would seem that we still haven't managed to get our grooves back yet from the summer and with the new school year.  I pray that if you are anywhere near all that nasty weather that you are safe and sound.  We have been raining off and on now for the past four or five days give or take and hour or so.  lol... Other than that it is just real busy turning into full blown fall around here.  I for one can not wait until this weekend when we can set our clocks back an hour.  I am tired of getting up and leaving for work and school in the dark.  I miss the daylight.
I am still hoping that I can get back into crafting real soon, but until then I thought I would share a card I made with some awesome Lawn Fawn stamps.  Can you tell that I finally managed to get some heat embossing to come out somewhat good?  I was very very excited.  lol...

Have a great day everyone and I will talk at you later.

HAPPY 8TH BIRTHDAY ANDIE...

Hi guys.
Coming to you from my laptop this morning as I have been trying for over a week now to download my card pictures to my PC and I finally gave up and opted for my laptop.  Ggrrr... I don't like it when things don't do what they are suppose to do.  lol...
As you can see however today is a very exciting day as it is my youngest niece's 8th Birthday!
Please help me in wishing her a very fun and Happy Birthday.
I made this card last week and somehow I have lost my list that tells me everything I used to make it, so no list of supplies.  :O)  Sorry, but I am sure that most of you recognize the stamps and the papers anyway, and of course you know I used my Copic markers as always.  I hope you are all having a great weekend.  I am hoping to share a few more cards with you all through out this next week, so I will talk to you later.
Hugs, Lisa G

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANDREA!!!!  We love you.

Candy's Craft Corner CANDY...

Hi guys.
I wanted to share with you all a great blog candy that Candy from 'Candy's Craft Corner is giving away.  She is giving away three sets of stamps and 12 ink pads that she just loves.  Can you say "WOW"?  I can't believe how generous she is and if you want to check out her wonderful cards as well just head on over here and show her some love.   She is going to draw the winner on Oct. 16th, so don't delay... Head on over.
You will also see that she has a YouTube channel called Candys Craft Corner1 where she shares how she makes all her cards and how she stores her Copics along with a lot of other fun things.
I am hoping to get some crafting in the morning as today was spent making homemade spaghetti sauce and yummy fresh bread Italian style of course by Madison and I.  We ended up eating a very early dinner at 4pm as we were all just drooling over the smell.  Needless to say both Jerry and Mitchell enjoyed our dinner and they even were nice enough to clean up afterwards.  :O)  The first part of the day Maddi and Jerry spent painting tombstones for the graveyard that her and Jerry are making for our front yard come Halloween night.  I did take some pictures, but I figure I'd share them a little later when things are further along.  You should have seen my dining room however while they were doing all of this painting.  lol... Did I mention that they almost used up a huge bottle of Gesso before I realized where they got their white paint from?  Grrrr... That's ok, they'll not do that again when I show Jerry how much it is goint to cost him to replace it from our Walmart here.   All in all we did have a wonderful family Saturday even if you include Mitchell getting upset because I made him finish his homework before he got to play any video games.  bahahaaa.....

Look at all those goodies! OMWord... I can't believe all that ink and stamps too.... Candy you ROCK!

Have a great day everyone and be sure to head over to Candy's blog.
Hugs, Lisa G

ghostly greeting!

Happy Friday everyone.
As you can see I am getting to this rather late today, but I have this weekend off and I've been busy this morning trying to find the top of my desk.  lol...  Mind you I am still at it, but I really wanted to take a short break and share this rather simple, but fun card that I made this last weekend for the Lawnscaping Fall blog hop that Ellen Hudson is sponsoring.  I almost forgot to post it and just made it in time.  YES!
I don't know if I have mentioned it, but I have become addicted to lawn fawn stamps and so I was trying out one of their little sets to see what I thought.  They are just adorable all by themselves or you can use them along with any other stamps that you have in your collection.  Even though this is a small card I ended up using a lot of different stamps and had a great time doing it as well.  I even add some Stickles to add a little flair to my pumpkins and of course to Miles' witch hat.  lol...
I decided to use this card as a Happy Halloween/Thank you card and I hope that the recipient likes it.  :O)
So I had better get back to it before I decide that I don't really need more than four inches to create in.  lol...  I hope you all have a wonderful day and I will talk at you soon.
Hugs, Lisa G

Enter at your own Risk...

Hi guys.
Wow, I just have to say that you all ROCK!   I know that I haven't really been around a lot for quite awhile, but you are all so nice to me and still come over and make me feel so good with your sweet comments.  I can't tell you how much you all mean to me and I really thank you very very much.
So let me get to a card that I had made a week ago for my co-worker to give to her Granddaughter.  I totally forgot that I had taken pictures of it before I gave it to her, so I was very happy when I came across it on my memory card tonight.   I used one of my Spellbinders label dies and cut it out about five times so that I could layer them and give it some depth to make it look like Hilda was coming through a doorway to invite you in.    bahahaa.... As she lives in a bit of a bat cave with her best buddy Vlad she has some heavy cobwebs to keep the light out. As you can see she has little spider friends and they are very good to her and Vlad when it comes to protecting their home.  Isn't she cute?  I just love her and I was lucky enough to have won her from my friend Amy last year when she was doing her candy for her new releases.   As you can see she is still one of my favorite Halloween figures to date.  Anyway as you can see it really was fun to make.
So with that I hope you all have a day tomorrow and I will talk at you later.
Hugs, Lisa G

Got Washi?

 Hi Guys.
I wanted to take a moment to share a quick card that I made for a friend of mine that just loves Washi tape.  When I came across this Satuarted Canary stamp by Krista Smith I just knew I had to make her a card.  I don't have a lot of Washi, but I made the background with all the ones that I do have.  It was really fun to make and like my card for my Brother's Birthday it really was quite a fast card to make.  :O)
So that's all I have for right now.  I am still hoping to get some time to play again and to come and visit you all soon. Until then I hope that all of you are doing well.  Take care.
Hugs, Lisa G
