Good morning everyone. Before you all faint from the fact that I am posting for the second day in a row, I would just like to tell you that this card was made on Saturday. On my day off and for sure not yesterday. lol
    Why do you care, you ask? Well, yesterday I did go to work only to be called home early because both of my M&Ms ended up being sick. One at a time is doable for Jerry, but when it comes to our oldest M being or getting sick it takes us both to calm him and convince him that he will indeed make it through. Unfortunately my little man worries himself all the time and having a cold or the flu just seems to amplify it.   They are both doing better and even though I felt very guilty for leaving everyone at work, I am glad I did as it became a two man job yesterday afternoon at a couple different points in the day. lol.. Whheeee I think I need to go back to work to get some rest. lol... Yeah right! :O)
     Ok, so as everyone that is anyone knows 'CHA' is going on right now and I am sure ALL of us would just love to be there. I know I would love it. I would gladly be one of the people that help put it all up and take it all down just for the chance to spend that much time around all that creative energy and supplies. lmbo.... You know what I mean I am sure.    The reason I bring it up at all as with 'CHA' going on and so many people working so hard to bring out all the new goodies that we will go crazy over I am sure they feel just like the sentiment says. "Eat, Sleep, Shop!"
     Don't you just wish you could shop like that? lol.... It would be a tough job, but I would sure make the effort. So in honnor of all that spending that is going on I thought I would pull out these really cute rub-on transfers that I bought some time ago and make a fun card that didn't involve any coloring at all. Gasp!!!!   :O)

Monday Fun Day..."Key to My Heart"

Good morning everyone.
     Let's try this one more time. I am hoping that this week goes much better than last week. lol.... They say that late January is always that worst part of the year. Something to do with the bills coming in, the after the Holiday's blues and for most of us the 'lack' of sunshine. :O)
     Fortunately the days are already starting to last a little longer and I don't know about you, but I love it when I get off of work and it is still somewhat daylight out. heehee....
     Ok, let me stop the rambling and get to why you have come over this morning. Today it is once again a Monday Fun Day over at the FFF Challenge Blog and this week we want you to put a little 'Heart" into it. All you need to do is use a Key and/or Heart on your card or project, simple. As it is getting closer to that wonderful Month of Love I am sure that you won't have any problems coming up with something full of 'Heart'. lol...
     So, for my card I decided that Madden wanted to come out and play. She has been wanting me to make Sunday a card and this just seemed to work in so well for both of us. She still had not changed out of her last outfit, so we went in and borrowed Monday's whole ensemble (she wanted to look really sweet for this one) ... lol.... I then went and dug out a full body picture of Sunday to use on the inside. He had come over with a key to show her that he did indeed have the 'key to her heart' and no one else's. Aren't they just so cute together? Besides Sunday looks like the College Scholar all dressed up in his jeans and scarf that Madden made for him as his Christmas gift this year.
     Well guys it is fast becoming Monday and that means that I need to get me and the M&Ms into bed so that we can be refreshed and ready to go for the week. I hope that you all get a chance to head over to the FFF challenge blog and check out all the awesome cards the rest of the DT has made for this challenge. I just know your going to love them all.

Friday Spy Day #17....

TGIF !!!!

Hi guys,
I know I said that I had gotten cards done and would be around all week. Well, what I didn't know was that my Internet thought it was April Fool's Week and decided to take most of the week off. Gggrrr! I feel like I have been cut off from my wonderful world of friends and family. I can't believe how sad I feel when I can't even get on the web to see everyone's creations let alone talk to you all.
I know, I know BooHoo... :O)
Well, as I have been cut off and I also have a had a sick little M&M this week (who refuses to stay home from school with a temp of 99.9) I am going to be sweet and to the point as I think I am starting to feel like she is and I am going to bed right after I share my card for today.

Rachel's card!

     This week for our Friday Spy Day we spied 'Rachel's' adorable card .    Didn't she just made the cutest Oliver? I love her color choices and the way she had colored him up. So so cute Rachel ! Congratulations, and thanks for letting us play with your design this week.
     So as I was in Valentine card mode and I really needed to make a card for a sweet girl that is going through a tough time, I decided to make up this card with little Boho Anya. I pulled out some of my newer paper pad's from SEI and loved how the background paper worked so well with the kraft card stock that I used for my card base. I then pulled out my rick rack and felt heart. Voila! Instant hope you are having a great day, I wanted to share a cheery kind of card. lol.... I did make an inside as always on this one, but I decided not to show it as it has already been written in and didn't want to share the personal note. :O) Sorry!

Monday Fun Day #17....

Good morning all.
     I hope that you all had a great weekend. I don't know about you guys, but OMWord.... this month is just flying by. It is January 23rd already and it seems like it was just Christmas.
     Well as you can see it is already our 17th Monday Fun Day over on the Farm Fresh Challenge Blog and today we have a very fun challenge for you indeed. All you have to do is use (a doily and/or lace) on your projects or cards.
    I decided that I really wanted to stretch just a little on this as it has been a long time that I have really been in a 'creative mood'... I was going through my Creepers, as you all know they are my favorites from the farm and I came across Syren. It got me to thinking that she would make a unique Valentine card. I had a heart doily and wanted it to look like she was sitting on her oyster shell giving her heart away to her true love. :O) I also had a mind to use up some of my favorite papers from last January and of course me being me I would not let go of either one of my ideas, so I decided that I would put it all together.   So, yes I went there.   I went with the paper, made Syren look like she had put some wonderfully opalescent seaweed in her hair for the occasion and used the awesome saying that came with the papers. Fortunately for me April (Thanks again!) my fellow DT friend was so sweet and sent me this adorable stamp that I had to use on the inside to complete my theme. I have to say that I really do love how it came out.. I do promise you April that I was able to use my new stamp for the reason that you sent it to me. :O) I love how that came out as well, but that is for another day. bahaha!!! My pictures make it look darker than it really is, but I really love the non-conventional colors for a Valentine Card. lol...

Sundays with our Crazy Cats...

Hi guys.
I know it has been forever since I have posted anything on a Sunday let alone pictures of our crazy cats.... Well I am ahead of the game this weekend, so I thought I would share a set of pictures that I took of both Lucy and Boo helping me while I was trying to get some cards made for this coming week..

Notice the great lengths that Boo is going to? She is acting like the only reason she came up in the first place was to take a nap. When as you can see she really wanted Lucy to play with her. lol.... I didn't get much done other than this load of pictures for about 30 minutes. hehee....
They really do keep us all entertained, and I can't remeber life without either one of them.

TGIF everyone!
How white is it where you are this morning? We had a little snow Wednesday off and on and boy oh boy did it snow all day Thursday. You could say our winter is rocking over here in Washington! lol...
It is finally Friday and both the M&Ms are waiting most impatiently for them to call it a 'snow day' from school, but so far no word. It is hard as most of the other towns around us have already decided no school tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed that it is off for them and not a two hour late start. Always hard on us all as then I have to figure out how to get them there. Oh well, just today and Saturday and then I will get my 'snow' day. lol....

I just love how Sheena has used her colors on this card!

      In the mean time is it is time for our Friday Spy Day #16 over on the Farm Fresh Challenge blog and as you can see Joni has Spied the cutest little card for us to use this week. Don't you just love Sheena's sweet card with one of the Awesome Creeper Crew?

When it came time for me to make up this one I just knew I had to use my newest Creeper Madden, but with the snow and all she wasn't in the mood to wear her regular outfit, so Piper agreed to let her wear her cute little outfit for this card. You can also see that I am trying to be super good and use up those paper pads that I can't live without so once again I used the 'Love Struck' from WeR Memory Keepers. I also went with the Beatles theme on this as well.  How anyone could use that saying and not start to sing is beyond me. lol... Of course when I think of the Beatles I always think of Jerry and that always makes me a happy girl. lol...

Let's get 'Sentimental' for this week's Farm Fresh Challenge #16

Good Morning all.
     I was going to start off by explaining why I have been more or less absent from my own blog and from visiting all of everyone else's blogs this last week or so. I have been sitting here typing away for about a half hour now and decided that really I think you all can figure out that sometimes life just gets in the way. So that is all I'm going to say. No worries we are all well and even the cats have been up to their usual antics, so I have a great set of pictures to share of them this coming week.   It's just been the first of the year "oh my word I'm tired of everything" type of thing. lol...
     Ok, now that that is out of the way and I am NOT going to delete this one.... Let me get to Sharette's Monday Fun Day challenge over on TGF Farm Fresh Challenge blog. She would like us all to get sentimental... Not the way you might think.. She would like to see a sentiment on our projects/cards or layouts this week. It doesn't matter how big or small, just so that you can see it. Sounds like fun to me.   While you are over checking out the details be sure to check out all of the wonderful creations the rest of the ladies have made for this one. I know you will be inspired. They are all just great. As you all know there have been some awesome stamps that The Greeting Farm has showcased the last couple of releases that I am sure you could use. Just have fun and play along. :O)
     As I was doing some "retail therapy" on Thursday during my lunch break I ran into the only somewhat of a craft store we have here and ran smack into some of the newest WeR Memory Keepers -Love Stuck papers. Well the very first thing that came to my mind was that this paper would be perfect with my all time favorite Greeting Farm digi stamps (would love to have them in rubber! hint, hint !!) '50's Sweethearts" of course. I just love this set and what can I say they are already holding a heart so I just couldn't go wrong with this.
     I printed them out, used a little clear stamp set from inkadinkado that had the saying 'Love you Lots' and fussy stamped them to fit into my heart. I then used one of the hearts from the set, stamped it ,colored it and put some glossy accents all over it to make is shine. I then cut that out and put it over her music notes of her skirt so she looks like her and her sweetie are ready to go out dancing once he gives her that HUGH box of 'fat free, but very delishish' Chocolates. hehee...
     As you can see I used quite a bit of the papers from the 6x6 paper pad along with some of the adorable 'Heart Gumdrop brands and the bottle caps.' Just had to have them all.   I told you I was doing 'retail therapy' and I have to say that it truly helped as this weekend was the first time in over a week that I felt like making any kind of card.
     Well guys, I have pulled your eyes for long enough. I know that most everyone is off tomorrow for the holiday, but I have to work so I am going to grab my Nook and go read for a little while before hitting that snooze alarm in the AM.. lol.. I hope that you all have a great day. I am also hoping to have a new card to share tomorrow as well. So until then, I will talk at you later.

Monday Fun Day with Polka Dots, Pink & Two Ribbons...

Good Monday morning everyone.
     Wouldn't it be great if there was a saying for Monday that made you feel just as good as you do when you say "TGIF"? lol.... Well I guess the closest that we can get is, Monday Funday over on the awesome Farm Fresh Challenge blog for The Greeting Farm. This week's challenge is to use polka dots, pink and two ribbons.   Sounds like a very fun challenge to me!
     I needed to make a Birthday card for my friend's Granddaughter so of course I thought that this formula would work out perfectly for me. I grabbed little Amelia from the OA Surprise set and gave a her a slighly darker version of my newest favorite hair color. lol... I'll wear it out sometime soon I am sure, but until then I am having a great time seeing how many different variations I can come up with.   Amelia is a sweet little one, so I helped her to wrap up her gifts with some pink and yellow polka dot paper along with some pretty blue that shines. I think her gifts are going to be the hit of the party. As the Birthday Girl is turning 9 it gave me the opportunity to use some twill ruler tape/ribbon that I have had for a little while. I think I like how it came out and kind of highlights that fact that she is 9 years old.
     Well, I hope that you all had a great weekend. It was nice to have some down time even thought I had just finished a vacation. Some times you seem to need a vacation from the vacation. lol... I am pretty sure that with the exception of waking up a 4:30am each morning that I was able to get in quite a bit of sleep this weekend.   Of course that was between coloring, reading my book on my Nook and playing Angry Birds and trying desperately to beat my score. OMWord, I swear I am addicted to this silly game and I spend way too much time playing it. It's all about strategy and I love it. lol...
     I hope you all have a super week. Mine is starting out busy as always and I have to work until 6pm and then go grocery shopping for the week. I love going shopping, but I usually don't get home until way after 7 or 8pm by the time all is put away and done. grump, grump grump! :O)

Friday Spy Day... Valentine...

     I am going to make this a quick one as right at the moment QVC is showing more of the awesome Dooney & Bourke bags and I just love DBs. lol...
     Ok, lets get to today's adorable card from The Greeting Farm's Gallery. This cutey comes from Wilfreda and I think that it is just adorable.

Wilfreda's Sweet Card!

     I had so much fun following Wilfreda's card to come up with my simple but sweet Valentine's card for my youngest M&M. I pulled out one of my paper pads from some of my Six-by-Six 'A Happy Heart' from MME and colored up the new Simply Anya to go with it. I just love how she turned out. I think that Wilfreda's design really helps to show off those awesome Greeting Farm stamps! I wanted to follow the design quite closely so I just added a few little rhinestones to it along with a simple rub-on for the inside and this card was good to go.

Friends are the Flowers Part 2...

Happy Halfway Day!
     Can you tell that life is starting to get back to the normal flow of a new year? Then M&Ms are back to school today and I am thinking about the fact that I will be able to pick them up after school come Thursday. lol.... I love getting back into our groove. I know at times it seems to drag on, but really we are very fortunate to have each other and enjoy each other so much. lol...
     So, getting to today's card I actual have a very different card that was made from the very same paper pad and sentiment stamp that I used yesterday. I was originally going to use this card to put Madden on when it took a turn towards being more oriental looking than what I wanted from Madden's card. I put it aside and put together a different card. Then I went into my stash of awesome Greeting Farm stamps and came out with Geisha Anya. I don't usually color a lot of black hair, but I do have to admit that I am really pleased with how she came together. I had a great time putting the little flowers that I pulled apart and put on the papers along with the little gems. I am not sure why, but I really really love the feel of this one. lol....
     Because I liked how it turned out I figured it was the perfect time to show how even with limited supplies you can make two very different looking cards. I hope you all have a great day.   I am off to

Friends are like Flowers...

Good morning!
     No, you are not seeing things. I am in fact posting my second card in as many days. I know it has been forever since I have put up a post each day of the week, but I am hoping however now that the holidays are behind us that I will have more time to spend on my creative side.   I really think I needed that little bit of down time to restore my mojo. I am also getting very excited for the twelve new Copic colors that are due out in March, so I have to be good and make some more cards to sell. lol...
     So for today's card I used the wonderfully CUTE C.C. Madden that is brand new from The Greeting Farm. You all know how much I love The Greeting Farm stamps and the Creeper Crew boys and girls are one of my all time favorite stamps. Yes, Anya is always going to be my first love. lol... Anyway, when I first laid eyes on Madden I just knew that I had to have her. Not only is her name very close to my youngest M&M's name she is also just so darn adorable.
     Well of course Madden wanted me to try out that new hair color on her, so as you can see she is a golden blond with beautiful brown eyes. She is looking forward to it being more Spring time, much like myself, so I helped her pull out some really cute papers from 'fancypantsdesigns' and make her some arm warmers (after all it's not that warm yet) and a cute pair of high tops to match. Her school has been having a spirit week and so she also wanted to look more 80s so in came the orange and black shirt with those puffy blue pants. I don't know about you guys, but I think she 'like totally rocks'. lol...
      I have been trying to use some of the little extra stamps that I pick up for under a dollar or have had forever and use them to help accent my cards. I really am having fun with it. Yay!!!   So I used this paper pad and fussy cut some of the flowers along with this adorable little bird. I added some of the Sakura Glaze pen to bring out the flowers and her belt along with the little butterflies that are a small Hot off the Press set that I have.
     Ok well I had better get a move on. I have work and today is the last day off for the M&Ms so I am sure that Jerry is going to have a very full day. :O) I hope you all have a wonderful day and I will talk at you tomorrow.

First Monday Fun Day of 2012.... A Color Combo!

Good morning all, and a very Happy New Year to you as well.
     No, I did not fall off the face of the earth.   I have just had the best week off with Jerry and the M&Ms. We had planned to visit relatives but unfortunately everyone ended up being sick. That's ok however as we still had a great time enjoying each other and just spending a few days doing what we wanted to do and not follow a schedule. lol.... There is a part of me that is ready to head back to work, but there is a bigger part of me that would spend every day home with my family. I just love it.
     So, now that the holidays are behind us all I am looking forward to making the most out of the new year. I don't tend to make resolutions as it can make you feel like you failed instead I just go with it each day and try to get to the goals that we set up for ourselves. lol....
     So as you all know it is Monday and that means it's Monday Fun Day over on the Farm Fresh Challenge blog. Joni has come up with a color combo challenge. Her idea is to use Blue and White along with one other color for your card. As you can see I kind of stretched the white a bit and went more with some white and a little more of a cream. I wanted to try out a new color combo for Anya's hair that Cheryl had posted here. I love trying out new combos that others come up with. You need to check out Cheryl's blog as I think you will agree that this is a great blond combo.
     We recently got a ' Big Lots' in our little town, but they have only a half of an aisle of scrapbooking products and really all it has been is cardstock like our Walmart has. :O( Well, they finally got in a couple rubber stamps so I decided to use Birthday Anya and make it look like she is giving out boxes of Valentine chocolates to her Teachers as well as her Mom. :O)     The sentiment stamp and the heart stamp are both from 'Big Lots' and I had so much fun cutting them out and using my glossy accents to make them look like a heart shaped box of chocolates. Of course you can't go wrong with the chocolate sentiment, so put together with the 'Love Me' paper pad from MME I came up with a quick Valentine's Day card. (I know it's early, but I love making Valentines cards.)
     So as I am back to work tomorrow I will bid you all a good night and talk at you tomorrow. I have a couple of cards that I had so much fun working on this weekend and I can't wait to share them with you. I think my mojo has come back. I have to admit that I am happy to NOT be making anymore Christmas cards at this point. lol....

FARM FRESH FRIDAY- SPYDAY... MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Hi guys!
Yay, it is finally Friday! I am so excited to get through today so that all I have to do is work my half day tomorrow and then I am off for a Fantastic Family Christmas Vacation! Yes, I am going to be on vacation starting Saturday at 1pm all the way through Tuesday January 2nd. I am so looking forward to spending time with Jerry and the M&Ms. It's not that I have never taken a vacation, it's just that since the kids started school nine years ago this will be the first time that I have taken any part of their two weeks Christmas Vacation off just to be with them. :O) I don't even care if Santa leaves me a lump of coal just as long as I get to spend the time with my family and enjoy the holiday without having to worry about going back to work so soon. :O)
Ok, now that I have bored you all let me get to the real reason you are here this morning. Today is Friday over at The Greeting Farm - FFF Challenge blog and as you all know that means Friday Spyday. Margie was checking out all the talented ladies and she came across this beautiful card that Beate made using non other than little Stella. Isn't she just adorable? I love love her color pallette, but I knew I had some of the Doodlebug papers left that Amy sent me, so I had a little fun with it.

       As I had just purchased Amelia last month I just could not resist pulling her out and showing her some ink. This is the Amelia from the Fuzzy Wuzzy O&A set.   I gave her some extra rosy cheeks as she looks like she was busy out playing in the snow just before she was made to come in for the big Christmas party that her parents are having.

Good morning everyone.
     Can you believe that it is already the Monday before Christmas? Yes, just six short days until the BIG DAY.... Are you ready to go? Well, I don't know about you guys, but I have all that in my stash and it sure didn't take much for me to come up with my card. Because it is such a busy week for me, I am going to use this card as both my Monday Funday card and for the All Customers Blog Hop with The Greeting Farm.
     I pulled out my new Oliver from the Fuzzy Wuzzy Set and gave Oliver a nice warm furry cap to wear while he is out getting ready for the Holidays that are just around the corner. I then added a touch of my lighter twine as I wanted it to represent snow. Over all I am really really happy with how this one came together. Now all I have to do is decide who I am going to send him to. lol....
     Well guys, I am off to work early this morning and it is going to be one heck of a week for me so I had better get a move on. I hope you all have a wonderful start to this Beautiful Week. I will talk at you tomorrow.

Santa Claus is coming to town!!!

Hi guys.
     Just a quick post to start your Thursday morning off. I am going to make it short as I need to go back to bed and I still have to work a half day tomorrow. heehee...
     I wanted to share yet another card that I made from some of the awesome papers that AmyY sent to me last month.. Thanks again Amy. I sure am having a great time playing with this doodlebug designs paper. It is just so cute and cheerful that if you did have the Christmas spirit you would not be able to resist it once you took a look at this paper. It just makes you happy. I recently purchased WS-Vivi from The Greeting Farm, and when I got a glimpse of all these cute little elves on this paper I just knew that Vivi needed to be front and center with all her little Elf friends. You see they are super busy getting Santa's slay ready to go for the BIG NIGHT! I am hoping that I was able to stay on the Good list this year. :O)

Retro-Fresh Wednesday - Tag Your It...

Good morning all.
     Well it is finally Wednesday and not only does that mean that we are halfway through this week it also means that it is time for this month's Retro-Fresh Wednesday! Jess has given us the challenge of pulling out those most cherished but somewhat neglected (6 months or older) stamps and make anything that has a tag on it, in it or is a tag. lol.... Just have fun with this one. The very first thing that came to my mind was that I love, love my 'Merry Tags' that I had purchased last year, and had yet to put to good use. I also thought that as I will need to put some tags on all the Christmas gifts that I still have to wrap I might as well put this challenge to good use. lol... Yes, I went there. I stamped out several copies of this set and went to coloring them up with my Copics.   I then grabbed some smooch and glossy accents along with some stickles to make them look like Christmas cookies.
     While I was busy coloring and just really having a great time making my homemade gift tags,(thank you Greeting Farm Stamps!) I started to remember that my Aunt would have all three of us kids come over to her house for a whole day to make frosted sugar cookies with her. Now you have to know that my Brother is 7 & 1/2 years younger than me, and 10 years young than my Sister. Needless to say some of our cookies were not exactly pieces of art. lol... I can even remember a couple of those delicious cookies having the ugliest purple frosting. I can assure you however that those cookies never went to waste. God bless my Dad, Mom and Grandma for not being too picky about how their Christmas cookies looked. lol...
     I did drift off topic, but it is Christmas and I tend to really love thinking about all my family. My Aunt and Grandma are no longer with us, but I love remembering all the things they did with us kids. So give your family a hug today and have fun with our Challenge. As always, so can get all the details and see the wonderful creations that the rest of the DT has come up with right here. Well, what are you waiting for?  I know your busy, but grab one of those stamps that you know you love soooo much and make a tag with us.

You Rock! Monday Funday with Margie

Good morning everyone.
     Well it is once again Monday and that means that we only have 13 days until Christmas. Are you all ready for the big day? We have all the decorations up and as you can see from yesterdays pictures we have the stockings hung (except for Lucy's and Boo's) and we are waiting until a couple of days before Christmas to wrap the presents and put them under the tree.   As it is Mitchell is already worrying about the good list or the naughty list. He is a good boy and I wish my little man (taller than me and 14) wouldn't worry, but he does no matter what. lol...
     So, because it is Monday once again it also means that are having a Monday Funday over on The Greeting Farm's Farm Fresh Challenge Blog.   This week Margie came up with 'No girls allowed'. Yes, you read correctly. It is boy theme time. Make something for the little or big guys in your life this week. lol....
     I was busy last week making some Baptism announcements for my Cousins and needed to go down to the local bookstore that carries a little bit of scrapbook products. Of course today's challenge gave me a good excuse to buy this adorable paper pad by WeR Memory Keepers. As you can see it has a lot of paper that look like fabric. Jeans/corduroy and vintage video games. lol... I just had to buy the pad and a couple of the little tags that go with the collection.   I mean I wouldn't want to make a boy card without some awesome new DP to put on it. heehee... I had so much fun paper piecing Tyler's clothes for his big card. I think I am addicted to paper piecing at the moment. It is a lot of fun and you still get to use your Copics to add highlights to the papers. So, I would have to say it is a win win kind of thing. hehee... I am also addicted to using different Moment Ink pads on my cards at the moment. I just love how using a dauber and some ink will give your card such depth.
     As you can see I used CC Tyler for my card and put him with a very cute tag that looks like the old cassette tapes that we used to use all the time when I was a kid. It came with the words 'You Rock!' on it and I used my Sakura Glaze pen to make the words pop. I then ran over to my friend Amy's YouTube channel to get a great combo on hair colors. You can check out all of Amy's video here.   I tried the Golden Blond on Tyler and even though it didn't come out as light as Amy's I am still very happy with how it did come out.

Our Week in Review...

Good morning all.
I hope that your weekend has been a good one. We started ours off with a visit from my cousin and his wife. They are the M&M's Godparents and we always love it when they come over. It is a great start to any weekend.
Yesterday was sure a cold one I have to say. OMWord, Jerry and I got up early and ran to the store for some groceries. We always try to go early and beat the crowds, but this time of year early just really isn't early enough. lol... Anyway, once we got home and had the food put away we could hear the geese on the lake making a ruckus. We had to run out and check on it as all of us enjoy seeing and hearing them. It was so cold and foggy that as I expected we wouldn't really be able to see them in the sky. We did however notice that they were landing in the field over at the school that is just at the corner of our street. Well you just know that Jerry and I had to take a walk (with Sunday in tow) down to try and get a few photos of them. As I've said a million times I have always loved living here due mostly to the sound and sight of these magnificent birds. Anyway, Jerry shot some video of them and I took a few pictures. In the original pictures the geese are muted because of the fog and cold, but I was able to edit them on my computer to get a few somewhat clearer photos to share with you all. lol...

We also were able to finally get Sunday to sleep in a big box with some blankets that we put out for her. She has such a beautiful coat on her and I am pleased to tell you that she has put on some winter weight as well. All in all we are very happy to see her doing to well.
Speaking of cats leads me into the photos of Lucy and Boo. We just received our little faux fireplace from QVC on Thursday and needless to say both Boo and Lucy are very interested in it. Boo is even brave enough to sleep on the top of it while Lucy layes out in front.

Ok guys, just wanted to do a little share with you. I have to get crafty now as I have deadlines to meet and kids to play with. lol... Only 15 days till Christmas and boy oh boy are we counting down in the house. I still haven't wrapped any of our gifts as Mitchell says it will only make him want them more. Farm Fresh Friday SpyDay with Margie...

Good morning all.
Did you have a good week? Are you ready for a nice fun or relaxing weekend? Yes? YES! I have to work today, but I am going to have a great day so that I can have a great weekend. I had wanted to wrap some gifts this weekend, but Mitchell told me that it would only make him want to open them sooner. lol. Just like his Mama...lol
Well, as it is finally Friday SpyDay and this week Margie has found the cutest card that Danielle Daws made with Cupcake Anya. Isn't this just the cutest card? I just love the way she used her ribbon and the vellum along with the jewels. Great coloring as well. I just had to make my card as close to Danielle's card as I could.

     I grabbed Beanie Anya, as it is that time of year and went to town paper piecing together her whole outfit. My sweet friend Amy sent me some of her Christmas papers and I had so much fun using some of the Christmas Kitsch from MME that she shared with me. Thanks again Amy. So sweet of you.

Good morning everyone.
     Thanks for all your well wishes. For now my migraine has decided to calm down and I was actually able to go to work yesterday. I just really really hate having a whole day waisted by being sick in bed. I know I shouldn't be cranky as I am glad this one only lasted the one day . So whining time is over. lol...
     I have a quick card that I made up last weekend while watching some of my favorite YouTubers' videos.    I was watching Dawn making one of her cards and decided to give it a go with some of the supplies I have here at home. Dawn makes awesome projects and cards with her Stampin Up supplies. You can check her out here.   That is how I got the idea to try out a similar design with my Spellbinders. This is really just a card for fun. I think next time I will go with a few more embellishments, but for just a test card I think it turned out ok. lol..
      I hope you are all having a great week so far. Today is my half day and I have some Baptism Cards to get done for my Cousin's God Son, so I am hoping to get crafty just as soon as I get home.

A Glee-Full Good Morning to Ya....

Good morning all.

I would love to be able to tell you that I whipped up this card last night, but actually this is a picture of one that I made last year. I woke up this morning with a migraine, then proceeded to stay in bed all day. The only time I came out of my bedroom was to say "Hi" to my M&Ms when they got home from school. I did however come out to watch Glee at 8pm.... Finally my migraine had decided to easy off by then.

So, the reason for my old card and my writing up a post today? I just have to say that Glee was finally back on par with what we had been used to, I won't give anything away as I know some don't watch it on Tuesdays. Just suffice it to say that I really really enjoyed it. I also just love the songs that 'The New Directions' song. They really did a good job, I hope that it stays more on this line than what it has been these last couple of months, :O)

Ok, I am heading off to bed in order to get better and head back to work in the morning. Hope you all have a great Wednesday. According to our count down calender as of tomorrow only 18 days left until Christmas! I can not wait. I am very excited to see what the M&Ms think of their gifts this year. lol...

Monday Funday-No Embellishments....

Good morning everyone.
     Did you all have a great weekend? We managed to get the Christmas tree up and the house decorated. Jerry even went out and purchased some awesome outdoor lights to put up around our front door. :O) I think we are going to get some more for our front window. We all really just love how it turned out. I'm really not sure what is up with us this year, but for some reason all four of us are so so so happy that it is almost Christmas. We spent most of yesterday watching a ton of our favorite Christmas movies as well. I had some cards to work on, (not done with my Christmas cards yet) but I have seen all our favorites so many times that all I need to do is listen anyway. lol... Mitchell is just like me. He could watch or listen to Christmas movies all the time. One of my all time favorites is 'The Family Stone.' I'm not even sure why, as it is a sad movie all in all. I think it must be that the family just really get each other and just really except each person for who they are.   I am sure by now you all know how I feel about my M&Ms and Jerry and the rest of my family, so I wont go on too long. lol... Just know that everyone at work has heard me say that when it comes to how I feel about my M&Ms there is no such thing as logic. hehee Don't you feel sorry for my co-workers? They have to listen to me all day long.
     Ok, so lets get into Joni's Monday Funday. No Embellishment allowed. I had to think about what I wanted to do and then I decided that even though I don't like the idea of making a sympathy card it would be a good card to make that you really wouldn't want a bunch of lace, buttons or even ribbon on. I can honestly say that until now I have never made a sympathy card. On a day to day basis I just don't like going down that road.  When I first started coloring with my Copic Markers I purchased the Fancy Fleurs set from the Greeting Farm to practice coloring flowers. I then fell in love with Ian and Anya and really haven't been good about practicing on any kind of flowers. Needless to say my poor 'Fancy Fleur' set has been in my binder until today. So I decided that I wanted to just use papers and stamps to make this one. I did use some Christmas papers on my card, but I just really liked the color combos and I felt it would keep within the overall theme of this card. A couple of Spellbinders dies and one Die-namics die later and my card came together without any Embellishments as all. :O)
     So, if you feel like a challenge this week and 'No Embellishments' on your card sounds like something fun to do you can head on over to the FFF Challenge blog here. My fellow DT girls have all made some wonderful cards that don't have any embellishments, but I promise you won't even miss them. So be sure to give this a go this week. Decorating our house with Boo...

Good morning all.
     I hope that you are all having a great weekend. We had an awesome family day yesterday. Most of it was spent getting the Christmas tree up and the lights hung while we listened to my music player.
     A couple of years after Jerry and I were married he surprised me with this beautiful music box for Christmas.    It has over twelve floppy records that are stored in the bottom drawer and I love it so much that it has now become our family tradition to decorate our house for Christmas while listening to it.
     Because I only bring it our for the Holidays it is just as special to my M&M as it is to me. Yesterday when we got ready to decorate of course Madison had to pull it out. Well as you can see Boo seems to think it is interesting as well. You can lift the lid to make it louder or just leave it closed to have more of a background type of sound. So, because Boo was so interested in it and because she sat on the arm of our couch the whole time watching while it turned, I have to keep the lid down. lol...
     I just really thought she looked so cute and we had so much fun yesterday that I wanted to share with you all.

Ok, now it's time for me to get busy and make some cards (not done with my Christmas cards yet) so that we can start wrapping those presents. Have a great day everyone. Talk at you tomorrow.

Farm Fresh Friday-Spy Day with Jacqueline & Sharette....

Hi Guys.
     I know that most Fridays we all tend to start off our post by saying "TGIF", and as for this week it truly could not be more meaningful for me. I won't even go into what kind of week we have had over here at the Gobea House. lol,.. Just know that I really am happy that this week is coming to an end. At last I've been able to get back onto my blog and my printer is finally decided to play along with my computer. (I think they must have had a fight and just weren't on speaking terms, lol....) So moving on....
     Today over on the Farm Fresh Challenge blog Sharette has spied Jacqueline's terrific card.

As you can see it really is an adorable card. I knew right away that I wanted to use Holiday Anya and some of my favorite BG design papers for this card. It all just came together so easy and I had so much fun working on it.   I don't know about you guys, but for me it really helps put me in a good mood to sit down and color while coming up with a card that will look good as I already have a blue print to go with. I really really love how this card came together.

I am sorry that I haven't been around to everyone's blogs this week. I am hoping to get a chance tomorrow to spend some time ( I have it off! Can you hear me CHEERING?) and see all of the wonderful creations that everyone has been working on this week. We are planning on decorating our house this weekend and listening to Christmas CD. I really can't wait. I am so excited for it to be Christmas. Did I mention that I am all done with my shopping? I know! ;O) I hope that you all have a wonderful weekend and I will talk at you later. Can you say 'Noodle'?

Hi Guys.
     I ask the question "Can you say Noodle?" because that is exactly what I am. lol.. I can not believe that after I loaded my Monday Fun-Day card over onto the Farm Fresh Challenge Blog that I completely forgot to post it here on my little old blog. I swear it's a good thing my head is attached our I would loose it. As you might have guessed it's been a busy week so far and I just figured that I would skip one day on my blog and then post something for everyone tonight before I started to watch Glee. When I logged onto my blog at first I thought that my blog had been deleted again only to discover that I just didn't do it. Gggrrr!!!
     So with that said I am just going to pretend that it is Monday morning and I am so excited to share my Monday Fun-Day card with you all. lol.... It is Margie's turn to come up with an idea and she picked the "Rule of Three"   I love the rule of three and normally I would go with three buttons or brads or even gems, but I decided to go with my paper's pattern and highlight the ornaments that are hanging on it. I used my Heirloom Ornaments by Spellbinders to cut out these small little ornaments then I added them to the paper. The ribbon was already draw on the paper, so it was super fun to play with.   I did manage to add in 3 pearls as well because I just couldn't resist. lol...

Merry Christmas - FFF Challenge blog, Joni's CASE

Hi everyone.
I hope that you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving if you celebrate it. We had a great day, but we didn't have turkey or stuffing as our stove has an element that is out and we still have one more week before the part gets here. That's ok, we'll make up for it come Christmas. lol...
So if your looking for a fun crafty idea this week you should head over to the Farm Fresh Challenge Blog today. You will see that Joni has picked a great book card that Nancy Cappelen made. So today for our Friday Spy-Day we are going to CASE it. At first I wasn't too sure what I was going to do. I was going to make a card and put some kind of tag on it or in it, and so I pulled out a piece of heavy weight chipboard that needed to be cut down. That is when it hit me that this was big enough to make an awesome door hanger with. I wanted it to be easy to really use and yet look somewhat perfectly made. (I know, I am weird and OCD all in one) So I pulled out my oval Nestability and used it to cut the hole for the door knob. I then went about adding all the little details to the front. By the time I got around to taking my pictures I had decided that I wanted to give it to my Brother and his Family as they will be here from out of town tomorrow, and I thought that would be something of a little get together kind of gift to give them. I didn't want to leave the back of it unfinished, so I pulled out some PTI paper and cut it to size. Added one of the Merry Tags from a TGF set that was sold last year and put it together. I am so happy with how this turned out. I can't wait to get off work so that I can head up to see them at my Mom and Dad's and give them my little Holiday/Season's Greetings kind of gift. lol...

FREAKING OUT......

Hi guys.
     I hope that you are all in the middle of a fantastic Thanksgiving Day Celebration with your families. I just had to pop in really quick and tell you all about my little scare.
     OMWord, I was visiting blogs and wishing everyone a Happy Holiday. When I tried to sign into the FFF Challenge blog it told me that my own blog and Google account had been deleted. I tried everything to get it to come back online and then I couldn't get into my accounts as well.   My M&Ms then told me that someone has been hacking into accounts and causing all kinds of trouble. Have you ever had this happen to you? I can honestly say that I just wanted to cry, but Madison was feeling so bad for having forgotten to tell me before this happened. (I tried to explain to her that there wouldn't have been anything she could do anyway, but she still felt that it was her fault.)
     So as you can see for now I am back online and all is well. I just wanted to give everyone a heads up because I truly do not know what the problem was or what happened. It really freaks me out though, as there isn't anything I could have done to make it change. Really I guess I just wanted to share with those that would understand the feeling.

Good morning all.
I just wanted to pop in this morning and wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving. I have had such a busy week so far and so when I came home tonight I sat down and relaxed for just a little while by coloring up Mr. Tom Turkey here. He is in the mood to celebrate, but he doesn't look like he wants to 'BE' the meal. lol...
Anyway, as I said I am so tired that I can hardly see. So with that in mind I am going to wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving. I hope that you are able to be your friends and family and have a great day . I am going to stop here and head off to dream land. Best part about tomorrow is that both the M&Ms and I have the day off. Yay! I might even be lazy and sleep in until 7am. lol...We'll see.

Yes, another weekend has come and gone in a flash. For some of us it has been with snow, others with loads of Sunshine. Awww the sunshine and warm weather, I remember it fondly. lol.... Well, I'm not really complaining as it is that time of year when you really want that snow for the ambiance. It did snow here a little over the weekend, but really none of it has stayed for very long yet. Mostly it just means a trip to the clothing store to get the M&Ms some warmer jackets that meet with the standard teenagers needs and wants. Stop laughing, I know you know what I mean. Gggrrr! Sometimes I think they are harder than men. lol
Ok I am done with the teenager and hubby bashing, so let me get into my card for today. I wish that I could say that I really went to town on this sweet little card, but come to find out I only colored her hair and added a little more color to her cheeks and face. You see she has been sitting in a zip lock baggie for a year now along with the papers that go with her outfit. As I was running way behind this evening I decided to finally pull her out and get her onto a card. (No stamped image left behind is my motto) So after touching up her hair and face I cut everything out and added a cute little saying to make my card complete. At that point Madison walked into the room and asked me why I was using her little Anya that she had colored last year. "What, what do you mean you colored her? I thought I did." Well, come to find out Madison had colored all of her and had me help her to get the hair the way that she wanted. Needless to say my sweet Madison wanted me to make sure and let you all know that this is her coloring and NOT mine. So my fellow bloggers here is my card with Madison's colored image of Beanie Anya. All in all I think this turned out cute and it really was a very quick card to put together. lol.... Boo !

No, I haven't lost track of time and still think it is Halloween. I just thought I would pop in a couple pictures of our sweet, but very silly kitten named Boo. She just loves her Daddy and she is very much a Daddy's girl. (That is perfectly fine with Lucy as Lucy is my cat, and never lets Boo forget it. lol) Anyway, usually you will see Boo running from one end of our house to the other. If she isn't doing that she is busy sleeping in Jerry's arms or on his chest. I received a package the other day in the mail, and I hadn't gotten around to breaking down the box yet when I was able to catch a couple of pictures of Boo enjoying a well deserved kitten nap. lol... I wouldn't be so mean as to show you Lucy trying to squeeze into this little box. She wants to remain the dignified cat that you all think she is. heehee RIGHT!

Breaking Dawn and a Friday Spyday with April's pick...

TGIF everyone.
Can you believe that today the fourth movie of the Twilight Saga comes out in theaters? It seems like just yesterday my friend handed me her new book to read during my lunch break. I was halfway through lunch and headed down to Hastings to purchase my own copy. I confess I was hooked that fast. It was Twilight of course, and little did I know at that time how much money and very late nights I would spend due to this fantastic author named Stephenie Meyer'. lol...

Congrats. Mercy!!!!

Anyway, because the new movie is coming out today and we are all pretty much fans of the whole thing April has picked out an adorable card from the TGF gallery for us to use this week. I think you will all agree that Mercy's card is just so awesome. I for one had all the intentions of making Breaking Dawn/Twilight card when all of a sudden I realized that I was actually making my DH a Christmas card. lol... I don't mind however as I was able to use Mercy's basic blueprint ( I kind of turned mine on it's side.) to come up with this card. I love how it came out. I was telling my DH that I had made a card for today, but that this one he would not be able to see as it was for him, when just about that time our son walked by and said, "Oh, you mean that card right there that you finished last night?" lol...Yes, as always Jerry has already been given his Christmas card and it isn't even Thanksgiving here in the states. lol... Oh well, what can I do but make him something else later on right?

Well I have rattled on long enough. I had better get a move on so that I can get to Saturday. I have Monday off and Jerry and I are going to get our Christmas Shopping done. Please keep your fingers crossed that I won't give everyone their gifts before Christmas. heehee It is going to be so hard, but I really really feel like I want to get everything done now and not the night before Christmas. lol..

Better Late than Never...

Good morning all.
I am so sorry for not being around this morning. Super busy at work , it seems to be my mantra lately but that's ok. Before we know it Christmas will be here and with just a little bit of luck life will calm down for just a few moments so that I can enjoy my M&Ms and Jerry for one whole week. :O) Yes, you read correctly. I am hoping to have the last week of the M&M's Christmas Vacation OFF. I can not wait!!! I have never ever ever taken that time of year off to be with them and I am just soooo stoked. I don't care if Santa doesn't leave me anything in my stocking, I am just sooooo Happy about getting the time to spend with my family.
Getting back to my title this morning... It if better late than never when it comes to my September page of my 'Greeting Farm Calender.' lol.... Yes, I forgot about my little project until this last weekend. I however am very proud to say that I am back on it and I can not wait to share the rest of the year with you all. So without further ado, Here is the sweet Miss Anya from the 'Miss Anya Lounge' set. As you can tell I wanted to go with a football theme so I did a little body switching within the set, but I promise no one was hurt or destroyed in the process. Just waiting for their turns. When I was coming up with my calender page of course I had plenty of input from my peanut gallery here. Jerry wanted his favorite team colors, the M&Ms wanted the local and soon to be their HS colors but I had to go with one of my favorite teams. I have no idea why, but I love the Green Bay Packers.. If I lived in Wisconsin I would soooo be a CHEESE Head! Now my secret is out... lol....

As the month of August starts the school year these days I wanted to bring in the fact that September bring about the football season in the schools, as well as the Professionals. I also wanted to keep this mostly papers, so I grabbed the Autumn Splender 6x6 pad and used the different prints to represent a football field for Miss Anya to show her team spirit on. A little bit of white Sharpie and the field was good to go. Easy Peasy.
Ok guys, I am off to bed. Just got through watching Glee. Won't go into that just in case you haven't watched it yet. Hmmmmm. Talk at you later.

Monday Fun-Day #7 with Margie

and A Twi-Color Combo..

Good morning all.

I hope that you all had a great weekend. We are kicking this week off with an awesome Twi-Color Combo for our Monday Fun-Day over on the Farm Fresh Challenge Blog. It is Margie's turn to host this week and as she is a huge Edward, ummm I mean 'Twilight' Fan she decided that with the latest movie just around the corner that today would be a great time to add a little Red, Black and White/Silver into any of your cards or projects. Don't have any Twilight stamps from the Greeting

Farm? No worries it's just the color combo that we are looking for.

As you can see I went a little overboard with the whole idea. I just put in my 'New Moon' DVD and had a great time coloring Bella and Edward. I was working on Bella when the scene were her and Jacob are trying out the motorcycles for the first time came on and she was wearing a plaid jacket, so I decided to try and make one myself. I think it came out pretty good. lol...

When it came to Edward's turn I really wanted to go with his whole skin and eyes thing.... I am happy enough with his eyes, but for some reason in my pictures his skin looks really pink and it truly isn't. GGggggrr.. Yes, I am very very picky...

I didn't make his skin sparkle as it wouldn't be a sunny day if
Bella was wearing a jacket.

Anyway, you don't have to be as obsessive as I am to play with us. Just head on over and give it a go. We really enjoy having you all play along and if you win you get a great gift to boot.. We Wish You A Merry Christmas,

Hi guys.
I know that I used to take pictures of our loony kitty cats and share them with you all, but I spent half of my afternoon yesterday making what I thought would be a really simple card. lol...... What can I say, I just could not get this card to do what I had in my mind to do. I wanted to use some of this beautiful paper from MME called Holly Jolly. I just thought it was so pretty and I had my new Holiday Anya. Again, she is just so perfect and reminds me so much of Holiday Barbie that I set out to make this the 'Perfect' Christmas card. Plus I wanted to try out some new skin combos with my Copcis. But....OMWord, as you can see it is far far far from being the perfect card let alone one that I would send to anyone, lol.. I did finish it, but I was going to just put it in a drawer when both the M&Ms and Jerry insisted that I post it on my blog.

     So, here it is. Not the worst, but by no means a good one,. On a Sunday that I hope not too many people will see as I really am just not happy with any part of my finished card,
      I will quit complaining now and tell you the fun part of my day. We were lucky enough to go on our walk and be back just before the temperature dropped about 5 degrees and started to rain. I thought it was cool enough when we did walk, but boy or boy did it get cold right before the rain. I would have sworn it was going to snow. I guess we'll see what tomorrow brings,. I am hoping that the snow holds out just a little longer as I am really happy to still get to walk outside at the moment.
     Just so that you don't have to suffer too much over my 'beautiful' card I will share this picture of Boo from Friday morning. She was playing in Mitchell's room early in the morning and she knocked over his little carrier that he puts his books in to protect them from everything. (Yes, he is obsessive over his books.) So he had his books on his end table and Boo decided that this would be the perfect time to cuddle up in his bag. She is so silly and we just love having her.

I don't think Boo liked my flash at this point.. lol

Ok guys, I am going to go see if I have any talent what so ever today and try to get some of my design team cards done for the week. Have a wonderful Sunday and I will talk at you all tomorrow.

TGIF That means Friday Spy-Day.....

Good morning everyone.

Elena's awesome card....

     I am typing this on my laptop while I am trying to get my pc to let me load the pictures of my card that I made for the Friday Spy Day over on the Farm Fresh Challenge blog. Margie picked an adorable card from 'theredhairedgirl'  this week and it was so much fun to CASE this card, as you can use it for just about anything. If you are wondering what I mean, be sure to head over to the FFF challenge blog and get a look at the awesome cards the girls have made. OMWord, they are all just fantastic and I can't get enough of looking at each and every one of them. lol....
     When I first got a look at Elena's card my first thought was of spring, and summer all together. Then I thought that I would like to use some of my Christmas papers (as I have a ton at the moment, sssshhhhh...) and see what I could do to that. Well I of course had to grab Summer from the Roll Call set and give her a warm outfit, so Paul gave up his warm gym suit so that Summer could walk out in the cool air and check out all the early Christmas Lights that some of her neighbors have already put up.
    I kept her hands in her jacket pockets so that she would stay warm and I think she looks just adorable with the little bit of a mouth that I drew in for her. (Thanks Amy for all the tutorials over the last couple of years.) Then what do you know she looks like she has been out on a walk with her rosy little cheeks, lol... I love how it turned out. I even fussy cut the lable off the back of the paper pad to use as my title on my card. Not too bad for a fun little card of a cure little girl that no matter what gets her walks in..... Now, if I can get this computer to let me get my pictures in I will get a move on and get this day started so that I can have my weekend off to play.   :O) lol...

Soft Kitty, Warm Kitty, Little Ball of Fur...

Happy Kitty, Sleepy Kitty, Pur pur pur.....

Good morning everyone.
I am going to be taking a short day off from my blog this week. I got home late last night and just curled up the couch with a warm blanket until it was time to go to bed. It seems that even though we set our clocks back one hour this last weekend Lucy did not. Yesterday was the fifth day in a row that she decided to wake me up at 3:30am. I would then get up and let her out of our bedroom, climb back into our nice warm comfy water bed only to have her start meowing at our door to be let back in. As I am a push over, I would let her in and then she would want to play on my end table (I can not stand that) so out she would go again. Luckily for Lucy she would settle back down to sleep about 4:30am... As you all know I get up between 5 and 5:30am most mornings, so this has not been an ideal way for me to spend an hour in the early mornings. So with that very very long explanation I decided last night that I would just do nothing and let myself enjoy it. :O)
I will be back tomorrow with a new card that I made as we have a great card for you all to CASE this week, and I can not wait to share it with you all. I hope you all have a great day and I will talk at you tomorrow. Until then I wanted to share a little snapshot I took of Boo the other day while I was cleaning my desk. I think I must have worn the poor little girl out. lol....

Boo, all tuckered out...

Retro-Fresh is going Blue/Berry!

Hi guys, I hope that your week is going good so far. As most of you know today is our November Retro-Fresh Challenge over on The Greeting Farm's Farm Fresh Challenge blog. We are going Blue/Berry... What does that mean you ask? Well it simple means that we are challenging you to make a card/project using Blue and Berry colors. Think pinks, berry sorbet or melon mombo.... :O)

When I got the calender for today's challenge I knew right away what paper pad I wanted to use. I had just gotten my new 'be Merry' paper pad by MME, and I love, love the color combos and the fact that it is non traditional Christmas colors. I also needed to make a thank you card and I just new that Beanie Anya was the girl for me. lol.. She is dressed just perfectly to go with the papers and yet not really be a Christmas card. I was thinking more of a winter / I am happy the snow is not falling yet, kind of card. I truly had so much fun with this card and my Anya stamp. It just really gets you back into the mood to use those stamps that you love and had to have and kind of forget when the newest ones hit your mailbox. lol...

Merry Christmas to ewe...

Hi guys.
     I hope that your week is off to a great start. Wow were we busy at work yesterday. OMG! lol....
I am glad however that my DH is so understanding and has no problem with me coming home from a hard work day to sit down and color for just a little bit. He is very good about cooking dinner, so all I have to do is visit with my M&Ms for a while and then I can unwind with a little bit of coloring.   hehe, You'd think I was still a kid. Seriously though it does help me to unwind and then I am good to go with any homework problems that are still lurking in their binders. lol....
     As I am still feeling a little under the weather I decide to use a couple of these cute little CC Design stamps that I purchased from ATS. I just love how cute the ewe looks sitting on the Christmas tree ornament. I then pulled out one of my MME paper pads and before I knew it my card was ready to go. I am trying out a few new techniques and ways of coloring, so please don't look too close as I am still practicing.
     Ok guys, I had better hit the sack so that I can be well rested to go to work tomorrow and provide people with their medications. lol..   Hope you all have an Awesome Tuesday, (don't forget Glee tonight!!!)  Talk at you tomorrow.

Monday Fun-day over at the Farm Fresh Challenge Blog...

Good morning everyone.
      I hope that you all had a wonderful weekend. We started ours off with a visit from my Cousin and his Wife (the M&M's Godparents). It is always fun to have them come over and visit. My Mom and Dad came over as well and we spent the better part of the evening chatting and have a great time just enjoying with each other.   I am excited for Christmas to get here as we have plans to go to their house for the week after Christmas and enjoy their ranch/country home. It is going to be so much fun! :O)
     The bad part of my weekend was waking up Saturday morning with Jerry's cold. It would appear that he was nice enough to share it with me..  :O) I sure felt like someone had punched me in the chest. I tried to be up and get some crafting done, but all in all I ended up spending most of Saturday in bed with my cat/dog Lucy at my legs keeping me company. I did feel a little better yesterday, but I am still taking my DayQuil and NyQuil to help me get over this. lol....
     So as you all know it is Monday and over on the Farm Fresh Challenge Blog that means Monday Fun-day.   I am the one hosting it today and so I came up with the idea that we need to make a card or project using no design paper and one ribbon. You can do what ever you want, just don't grab any of that beautiful DP that I know we are all buying and hoarding right now. lol...

     For my card I really wanted to pull out a couple of my newest paper pads, but I resisted the urge and used one of my Spellbinders Edgeabilites instead. I then inked them up with similar colors and made my own paper patterns. I hope you like.

Farm Fresh Challenge with Sharette

Good morning everyone.
I have to start off this morning with a huge TGIF!!! It is weird, but Wednesday we all got up in good moods talking about how awesome it was because it was already Wednesday and the week was just flying by. Well yesterday when we got up and it was still dark out and it was a pretty cloudy, darkish fall day we all kind of got up and commented that it was only Thursday and "Oh my word would Friday ever get here?" lol... Isn't it weird how that all works out. Sorry, just a little share from me to you. lol
Well, it is finally FRIDAY and I am soooo HAPPY. I just have to get through my work day and then I am off for two whole days. My cousin and his wife are coming to visit this evening and that always makes us HAPPY. Needless to say I can not wait. Then I getting up at 6am Saturday morning, sit on my new couch with my warm blanket and blog hop for a little while then I am so going to play with my Greeting Farm Stamps , Copics and some Spellbinders before my mojo takes a walk again. lol........

Danni's awesome step card...

So, with it being Friday and all that means it is time once again for a new Farm Fresh Challenge over on the FF Challenge blog. This week Sharette has picked out a somewhat challenging card for us to make. She went with a beautiful step card that Danni created. I think you all will agree with me when I say that it is just beautiful. Now, I have to admit that I was very intimidated at the thought of making a step card as I had tried before and failed. Of course my mind went to work to think of a way around it (yes, I know we can use a theme of the card or a color) but then I decided that I really wanted to give it a go. I did and boy oh boy am I happy that after the third try I was able to make my very own, very first step card. :O) Yes, you can say that I am proud of myself on this one. I used my new Spellbinders die (Heirloom Ornaments) from Flowers to Flourishes and I love it. My mind is going a hundred different ways thinking of all the things that I want to do with it. Then of course I just had to use my newest Creeper Crew Member 'Sunday'. He is soooo cute and for some reason he reminds me of Ken as in Ken from Barbie and her boyfriend Ken. lol... I think I must have Barbies on my mind lately.

Naughty or Nice?

Good Morning all.
     I hope you all had a very Happy Halloween. Can you believe that we are already into the first day of November? Omword, we only have two months left in this year. I think I am getting dizzy just thinking about it. I am proud to say however that Jerry and I already have two of the M&M's Christmas gifts put on lay-a-way. I wanted to just get them, but Jerry seems to think that there is a better chance of them getting it at Christmas than if we had them put away here. lol... Mmmmm, I guess he is right at I would have a hard time not giving them to my little babies. :O)....
     Ok, moving on.... As I am getting into this whole Thanksgiving and Christmas spirit I decided to use one of my 'Brand New, just being released today' Creeper Crew stamps from The Greeting Farm. That's right, today is November 1st and it is finally time to play with the wonderfully adorable new stamps here on the farm. I of course had to go with 'Saturday' for my card and he is just so darn adorable!   I grabbed some of my newest paper from the Saint Nick line of fancypants designs. I then added in some sheer gold ribbon with my new Spellbinders and colored some pink gems to look red to give this one an old time Christmas feel to it. I have to say that I really really love how this one came out. I had such a fun time paper piecing Saturday's shirt and sweater. (I think he is being a good boy and wearing the sweater that his Grandma sent him last year as a gift. lol...)

HAPPY HALLOWEEN !!!

     Happy Halloween!
     I hope that you have all had a great weekend.... I only had one day off, and I am back to a very full two weeks of work. However for some strange reason my MOJO has decided to return. I am soooo so HAPPY as I was able to sit down today and make up a few cards that I actually am proud to show you. It seems that recently every time I would try to make a card it looked like a two year old could have come up with something better. lol...
     As today is Halloween we are celebrating it over on the Farm Fresh Challenge blog with some Spooktacular cards just for you...  bahahaaaa.....  With that in mind I grabbed CC Jill and colored up like any Mom would do with her little Princess. As you can see Jill really doesn't look that thrilled to be in a frilly, sparkly dress, but I convinced her that is just a costume so she agreed. I then pictured her going through the spooky woods to her Grandma's house to 'Trick or Treat'.   Jill needed something to carry all her goodies in, so I used a small circle punch then filled it in with my Copics. I took some very fine white wire that I have and made her a hand. As you all know you can't go anywhere this time of year without running into those little pumpkin buckets, and I really wanted hers to look just like those. I have to admit that I think it turned out pretty good. lol..

FFF Friday Spy Day... you totally ROCK !

TGIF !!!!
Hi guys, I am so glad that it is finally Friday. It has been a very busy, but fast week for sure. I am happy to report that our car is back on it's tires and running smoothly once again. Come to find out the motor mount broke and caused the engine to slide forward thus smashing the starter.. You should have seen that poor started. It was never going to run again, I garrenty it. lol... I have I ever mentioned what a jinks I am to cars and pretty much anything electrical including computers? lol... I really am. Sooooo, moving on. Madison had her Dr appointment today and we really don't know much more than we did yesterday. They are going to keep her off the running and walking for the next two weeks along with some anti-inflammatory meds and then she goes back to the Dr. to see if it is better. If not, they are going to start a blood workup for juvenile arthritis. I am keeping my fingers crossed that like the severe knee pains last year this is just a bit of growing pains.
Well as it is getting late and I have to work early tomorrow let me get on with my card for today. Margie is posting this Friday Spy Day today and she picked out this adorable card by abbygrimaldi. 'Sweet Temptations'

I really love the Spellbinder that she used for her main picture on this. I ordered a set of them almost three weeks ago and I was soooo hoping to get them before today. As you can see that didn't come in time, so I settled on my diamond shape instead. I did however get the opportunity of using a new 6x6 paper pad from fancypants that I have never used before, and I have to say that I am loving their papers big time! heehee

Saturday is my youngest Nephew's Birthday. He will be 9 years old and he is just the cutest little red headed boy I have ever seen. Much like his older and younger sister, he is all boy and like his Daddy (my baby brother) very athletic to boot. That is why I decided on these papers and on CC Tyler. He just reminds me of that kind of guy that really does it all. Anyway if you would be so kind and help me wish Mathew a very Happy Birthday. Happy Happy Birthday Mathew. We LOVE you very much.
Thanks for stopping by today. I am hoping to get a ton of work done this weekend as I am heading into another three week stint on no half days and working weekends. Gonna love the paycheck, if I can make it. lol.... Seriously, I am getting old and I stand every day from 8am to 5pm. : > ) By Saturday mornings I am ready for some me time and maybe even a little lounging on the couch for a half hour. heehee

Hi guys.
     I hope that you have all had a great start to your week. We were busy at work, but it was a pretty good day. I did however go out to my car to read at lunch only to find that my car (the one I just paid a lot of money to get it repaired) has a new issue that required me to call the repair company and have them tow it in.   They won't even be able to look at it until sometime tomorrow as they are really swamped at the moment.   :O(     I am trying not to be in a bad mood, but I it really bothers me when cars don't work like they should. This also leaves us without a car until it is up and running again, and I hate to be dependant on anyone.... GGggrrr..... ( I really should have been smarter and become a millionair! lol.... Like that was a choice in High School.)
     Madison had her Dr's appointment today and now she has to go see a specialist as they don't know what happened to her ankle nor do they know what is going on with the growth plate. We already have an appointment scheduled for this Thursday. Hopefully we'll get some answers for her. As for the moment she can't do any PE and that also means we aren't going on our walks and that has bummed us all out too. UMMMMmmmmm,,, It will get better I know. I just need to go with the flow. lol...
    As you might have guessed I was kind of in a cranky mood when I got home tonight, so I sat down and made a very simple but quick card. I used one of the really adorable stamps that Mercy was sweet enough to send to me. I thought it would go really well with the sentiment stamp by AmyR. It's just a little card and the stamps measure about 2&1/2 by 3 inches all together and was a very fun and relaxing card to make. I figure it will be perfect as a quick note to a friend. lol..

Good morning all.
     Did you have a good weekend? We did, but it just seems that they keep getting shorter and shorter. lol... Never enough time if you ask me. Last week was very busy for all of us as the M&M's had Spirit Week last week and boy or boy did that take up some time to help them both get their outfits (80's, class colors and maroon & gold) then themes (crazy hair day, pajama day and etc..)together. It was really fun and we were more than happy to see them wanting to participate in the whole thing. I am both proud and pleased to say that they have not missed a day of school this year, and they don't complain each week about PE or anything. They are both working so hard and I couldn't be happier for all of us. lol..
     Ok let me get to my card for today. As you know it is Monday and that means it is Monday Fun-day over on the TGF Farm Fresh Challenge Blog. This week April has picked the assignment of EMBOSS IT! Thankfully she says that we can use our heat guns, embossing folders or just about any other way that we know how to emboss. Well, as I just received in the mail last week a set of boarderabilities from Spellbinders I of course had to put them to use. I really am not that good at heat embossing yet. Even though my friends Amy and Mercy are trying everything they know to teach me. lol... I promise girls I am working on it.
     So I pulled out Sweet & Toxic and gave her some purple hair along with some really cute papers that I had from WeR Memory Keepers. I know everyone is pretty much done with their Halloween cards, but I still have a couple more that I need to get done so I thought this would be the perfect time to use her.
     Alrighty guys I had better get my desk cleaned up and ready to go for the week. It is going to be another jam packed one. I hope that you all have a fantastic start to your week. Good morning everyone.
I hope that you are all having a wonderful weekend. I am attempting to get some cards made for the week and of course Lucy just had to remind me that it is her turn to be on my blog. I took a few pictures of her playing around on my desk, but I really really wanted to share the ones of what she looks like after she is done investigating everything. You can see behind her my cubbies where my Copics are usually stored, but I have them all in my case so that I could color on my couch yesterday. Now that I have my stamps that Mercy sent me in the cubbies Lucy has become exceedingly interested in them. gggrrrr... You will notice that most have been knocked over. I tried to get a picture of that, but all you end up seeing is a big black 'BEAR' in front of my white shelves. lol...
Anyway as Lucy is such a lady I thought I would share just how pretty she is. The sad thing is that when I take her picture she is so black that I have to edit them with photo fix, or you wouldn't be able to see the details of her except for her eyes. lol Ok guys I need to get this big cat out of my way so I can get started coloring.

Happy Birthday Andi !!!

Hi guys.
I have to start my post off today with a huge Happy Birthday to my youngest niece Andrea! Andrea is turning 7 years old today! I can not believe it. Wow, it seems like she was just born and we were all taking pictures of her with her little bow that the nurse had put in her hair. So please help me to wish her the best BIRTHDAY that a little girl could have. :O)
As you all know over on the FF Challenge blog today we are using one of Sheri G's cards to 'CASE' , and so I just could not resist using her awesome design to make Andi her card. I had soooo much fun pulling out one of my CB embossing folders and using my super fine embossing powder from Ranger to get this white washed look to it. Andi is very much like her Daddy (my Brother) and she loves soccer and playing sports. She is quite the go getter and so I of course had to use Leslie from the Creeper Crew on this one. She has been paper pieced with Paris & Co. from MME along with some of my Copics to give her that busy little girl with an attitude look about her. lol...

How cute is Sheri's card?

SURPRISE !!!

Hi guys.
     Miss me? Well my computer fell off the face of the earth and left me in the dark for the whole week. Eeeekkkkkk!   I can not believe how much I have missed talking to all of you and seeing what you have been up to. Then our youngest M&M sprained her ankle this week and so she has been in an air cast since Thursday.  Rounding out our week the car decided that it was time to get some well needed attention. I am sad to say that it needs a starter solenoid and various other things done to it, so it has been in the shop since Friday and I am sooo hoping to get it back at some point tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed for me. All in all it really wasn't a bad week though. The sun has been shining and the trees are turning colors, so it is hard to be down about anything. lol...   Needless to say we have gotten some walking in this week and we are all glad that we spent our summer walking as we were able to get the kids to school one morning when the car died at a street light and a very very nice young man pushed us around the corner where we parked and the M&Ms and I walked to their school. I am very proud to say that they were not even late getting there. ( I always knew that my need to leave early would come in handy one day. heehee)
     The only bad thing about being without my link to the world is that I was not able to play along in any of the fun stuff over on the Farm Fresh Challenge Blog. I sure hope that you guys did.
     So you might have noticed over on the Farm Fresh Challenge blog it is once again time for a Monday Funday challenge. This week's sketch is another great one by Margie. You really are going to love this on. I had already colored up WS-Logan from TGF and so I just grabbed up my embossing folder and went to town to make a very quick but very fun Birthday card for a friend of mine. So, be sure to head over and check out Joni's post on this week's sketch. She has given you all the details as to what you have to do to play along this week.

Wicked!

Hi guys..
     Sorry for taking most of the weekend off. I had all the intentions of getting to every one's blogs and seeing what you all have been up to. Well, We spent most of our Saturday walking around. We headed out at about 8:30am and didn't get home until after 2pm... We had a great time walking all around and checking out all of the shops here in our little town. It really was fun and by the time we got home we were all just starved. lol...It truly was a wonderfully sunny fall day and we all had a great time walking everywhere.
     Today Jerry and I pulled down our storm window and cleaned it and the inside windows so that we are ready for the winter. I have to admit that window is HEAVY!!! We got it about 7/8 of the way up when my arms just would not let me lift anymore. Poor Madison went running to the neighbor's house for help. I could hear her knock (ok pound!) on that door and yell that her parents needed Help!  Thankfully the neighbor did come over and help Jerry push it up the rest of the way so that we could lock it into place. Yay, I am glad that is done! heehee I am always happy when we work together and get a major project taken care of.
     Ok enough about my very full weekend. Can you believe that we are already to our 2nd Monday Funday over on the Farm Fresh Challenge Blog? It is Sharette's time to post and she has a fun challenge for you all. You just need to use Black, White and One Other Color on your card or project.
     I finally got the chance to purchase 'Roll Call' from The Greeting Farm and the first little sweetheart I had to color up was of course Jade. She reminds both Jerry and I of Abby on the show NCIS. I was going for a more Halloween Costume look for her, so mine didn't turn out to look too much like her, but I will keep trying. lol...

     Wow, what a super busy week I have had. I won't bore you all with the details. Just suffice it to say that as of 5pm tonight I am sooooo HAPPY that it is the weekend. I have some running around to get done Saturday, but once Jerry and I get home I think I am putting on my new Halloween jammies.   I then intend to clean my desk, as I literally had about 12 inches of free space to create my card for our very first Friday Spy-Day over on the FF challenge blog. lol...
     Thank you so much to everyone for wishing my Dad a Happy Birthday. He really enjoyed that. :O)
It is late and I barely made my deadline for this challenge, so I am going to get right to the details for ya. I am sure that by now you know that when I CASE a card I really like to keep it as close to the original as I can. I don't know why, but for me that just makes it all the more fun. For this card I worked backwards. I picked out a paper pad and then after coming up with the design, I picked my stamp. The funny thing was that the whole time I was cutting my papers and putting them on my card I was really leaning toward using an Ian so that it would be a boy card. Once I finished I just knew that Boho Anya was the girl for this one. I just love how she really worked with the pattern papers and how the kraft cardstock just helped to show off her cuteness. I was even able to fussy cut some of the paper to use as my greeting. What can I say, I just really enjoyed working with this paper pad! As you can see she is really blushing as I kept telling her just how perfect her outfit went with my papers. lol... Be sure to head over to the Farm Fresh Challenge blog and give this a go. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD !!!

Good morning everyone.
     I have to start my post today with a huge HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my Dad.   Today is his 75th Birthday.  According to the computer last night Oct. 5th is one of the most shared birthdays of the year.  So, Happy Birthday Dad and everyone else that is celebrating today! :O) I have to work, but we are hoping to head up to my Mom and Dad's after work to give him is gift. I can not believe that I have managed to wait this long to give it to him. lol...
     I won't go into details just in case you haven't gotten the chance to see it yet, (Yes, I am talking about Glee) but I just have to shout..... OMG! bahahhaaaa....
     Ok guys, for my card today I finally got the chance to color up Cheeky Kitty. She is just perrrrr-fect and I just had to color her. She decided that she wanted to have a costume that would represent both of our indoor cats. She has red hair, so she feels like that looks most like Boo and then she wanted some brown to go along with the look. Of course she had to be mostly black to cover Lucy's look as well. All in all I think she turned out just adorable. I really had a great time coloring her up. I also decided to put her on some of my new Mischievous papers from MME. All I had left to do was add some sheer bright orange ribbon with some of the Mischievous brads that Susana gave me and this card was complete.

Are you ready for the very first 'Monday Funday?'

Hi guys.
     I hope that you all have had a great weekend. Ours went super fast, but we had lots of fun with the M&Ms and these crazy cats of ours. lol.... If you want a really good laugh I am cat-sitting for my friend while she is away on a cruise to Alaska for the next week and a half. She is nice enough to feed her neighbors cats from across the street, so at any given time there is 4 or 5 cats waiting for me on the porch. No, I am not a crazy cat lady. I just seem to be surrounded at the moment.
     Anyway, thanks again for coming out and sharing our excitement over the new DT over at TGF's FF Challenge Blog. Today is our very first challenge. It is called Monday Funday and this week all you have to do is use scallops on your project. The winner will have their choice of a single stamp from The Greeting Farm. So, what are you waiting for?      For my card I decided to use this new stamp set from the Farm. It is called Tea-rrific and I just love the look and the sentiments in this set.  I know I have said it before, but I will say it again. "I don't usually like clear stamps." I never have any luck getting them to stamp out clean lines. Well if you are on the fence about The Greeting Farm's clear stamps, you can jump right off. These stamps are FANTASTIC!!!! I can not believe the quality of these. They stamp so nice and they are awesome to work with. I should have know that Marie and Jessica would not let us down. Ok, I'll get on with my card. I just bought my some pearlized top coat from 'Smooch' and I think I may have gone a little overboard with it.  lol... Oh well, I like how it turned out anyway.

A Week with Boo...

Hi guys.
     Thank you all for coming over yesterday to celebrate my exciting news. You are all so sweet and I am truly so thankful to Jessica and Maria for giving me the honor of playing on the Farm with such an awesome set of ladies. :O)
     As you can see I am thinking that I will highlight one of our adorable babies each Sunday. That way you can get a glimpse into this crazy house that we call our HOME! lol... As you know Boo is our baby and like all babies she is just so darn adorable. She will run around and play like a squirrel with it's tail of fire. Then in the next second she is sound asleep. As I was trying to type this up she decided for the second time today that napping on my desk was were she needed to be. For some reason she always ends up laying across the corner were the two sides of my desk meet. Well, in the middle of all this she rolled over and just about fell head first off the desk. I am a screamer and of course Jerry and the M&Ms all freaked out and came running to see what had happened. Boo is A-ok as I caught her, but I am still trying to get my heart to slow down. lol...   Don't feel bad for Lucy or Sunday. They are both doing just fine and as always being super spoiled. My mornings always start with my shower then once I am out I head right to the kitchen to get Lucy fresh water and food. Then it is Boo's turn. She is still on kitten chow, so her food is in a different room. I head back to the kitchen and repeat. Once Boo is fed I head to the front door to get Sundays bowls and repeat for the third time in less than 10 minutes. I know I did this to myself. lol... I don't honestly mind it at all. Boo is so sweet and gentle. Lucy is my baby and she sleeps above my head every night. Sunday we saved and is looking so good you would never know that she had ever been neglected.
    Ok guys, I will talk at you all later. I am heading off to dream land as we have an early morning appointment with a cool walk. heehee...

Hi guys.

It is finally October 1st and I can not believe that I have lasted this long. I have some AWESOME NEWS to share with all of you. One night after work in August I received an email from Jessica from The Greeting Farm (my all time favorite stamp company) and she asked me if I was doing anything 'special' between October and March. Well I replied "no" and ran into our bedroom to tell my husband what I had just read. Apparently I don't think I am capable of reading when I am excited. I then returned to my computer and there was another email from Jessica asking me if I would like to be a member of the next challenge team. I don't even think I was breathing by then. Of course I emailed her right way (just in case she had made a mistake, lol) and told her that I would LOVE to be involved with anything that had to do with The Greeting Farm. So as you might have guessed by now, I am officially a member of the new challenge team for The Greeting Farm's Farm Fresh Challenge Blog. I am so excited and I can not wait to make a lot of great things with my fellow team members. You guys are going to so happy with all the things these awesome ladies are coming up just for you. :O)

So as you know this weeks challenge is to case one of Rachel's spectacular cards. I had a hard time picking just one to CASE. Rachel is so talented.      Hi guys. It is finally Friday. It is my weekend to work but I have some NEWS that I get to share with you all tomorrow so I am super happy that it is finally Friday!      Anyway, as you all know I have been sick this week so I really didn't get too many cards made. I did however get some new Spellbinder Edgeabilities from Flowers to Flourish, so I just had to play with them. lol... I already had the last two girls from Miss Anya Bags colored up and ready to go, so I added them to my card and made it into a little card to give to my friend. We don't go for tea, but we sure do love going for coffee. I am hoping she'll like. It was really just for fun.   I have to tell you these new Edgeabilities are awesome and I love how you can interchange them with each other.

      No, you did not oversleep and it is not that time already. I just had a brain hiccup last weekend, and thought that one of the challenges was to make a card for Christmas. So here is my card for Christmas. No challenge, just consider it a really early start to my Christmas planning. lol..   For those of you that know me you know that would never work, as I would have to give it right away. lol....
     Ok, I am running so behind this morning so I thought I would share this card with you before I hit the road. I was having fun playing with Lula again and decided to make it look like she just had her hair pulled back instead of in pony tails. I did however forget to fill in the back by her hoody, but I think all in all it turned out ok. We'll just say she likes to pull the ends forward. I also gave her Harlow's outfit because it would be chillier out if it was that magical time of year. I kind of went overboard with the rub-ons, but as I don't have to enter it in anything so I can live with it as a work in progress. lol...

Life is beautiful...

Hi guys.
     I hope that you are all having a great week so far. I have unfortunately be home sick the last two days. I am feeling better this morning, however I just wish that I would stop going from cold to hot in less that 10 minutes. lol... Oh well, just happy that my throat isn't sore anymore. I can finally swallow again. I can't believe I am typing this, but I am actually tired of ice cream. Yes, Jerry has been kind enough to be giving me chicken broth and ice cream for the last two days. No, not pregnant just didn't feel good enough to eat anything else.
     Anyway I am off to work this morning so let me get right to it.   On Saturday after we got home from our walk, and before I really started to feel crappy I pulled out Lula and Leslie from The Greeting Farm and made up a quick Fall-ish card for a friend of mine that love Owls. I had gotten this new paper pad from WeR Memory Keepers and didn't realize that some of the awesome papers in the pad actually has these sweet little owls. I wanted her to look like she is ready for the cool weather that is coming, so I paper pieced her shirt and gave her a matching headband. (Just cause it's fall doesn't mean you don't want to be stylish.) I also doubled up on my sheer ribbon so that it would look a little darker and really add to that fall look. I hope that she enjoys her card as much as I did when I made it.
     Thanks everyone for wishing me well. Just a cold that I knew was coming as both the M&Ms have had it the last two weeks. I do have to tell you how proud I am of them because they did not miss one day of school over it. I miss be getting weak in my old age as I just could not get up and about. lol.. Spooktacular !!!

Hi guys.
     As I am not feeling well yet I thought that I would post my card for tomorrow before I head back to bed. Yes, I have spent the better part of my day in bed. I am telling you I can not stand how my chest, nose, ears and throat all feel at the moment. I got up this morning around 8am and was doing ok. I even managed to hit a few of my favorite blogs. Then my Internet went down. Our cable company was having a problem that lasted over four hours. Well, after the first hour and the fact that I only had one card made I decided that it was a sign to go back to bed and get some rest. lol... I hate wasting my time being sick and in bed, (GGGggrrrr!) but I know sometimes you just are and it truly is the best thing to do at that point.
     So, I will get right to it so that I can go to bed and hopefully get some rest as tomorrow is back to work for me. Wish me luck. As most of you know over on the Farm Fresh Challenge blog this week's FF Friday theme is Halloween. Well, I really wanted to use my Halloween Bride from last year as she didn't see much ink from me. So I colored her up in a kind of Frankensteins Bride/new age look. I took some zombie coloring tips from my friend Amy and I was off and running. lol.. If you haven's already be sure to check out Amy's blog and YouTube videos. They are both great and I always get so many great ideas from them both. Thanks Amy. It was really fun to give her the look of a zombie and play around with some of my older BG papers. I then dug up (pun intended, lol) some black lace and fibers to make a bow with. Black buttons and deep purple pearls completed the whole scene I was going for.  I guess it's not to bad for sicky like me. lol...

Sundays with Three Cats !!!

Hi guys.

     I know it isn't technically Sunday yet, but I think that I am coming down with whatever bug the M&Ms have had for the last week or so. Jerry and I decided that we would let us all sleep in tomorrow, so I figured if I was going to do that I would get my post done now before I head off to bed.
     We did however get in a good long walk this morning. I tell ya, it may have reached the high 80s today but as of 6:30 this morning it was still very cool outside. I love Fall, I just wish that the afternoons would figure out what season it is. lol... I know, I know it will be Winter before we know it and we will be complaining about all the snow and cold.
    So, as for these cats and kitten that we are living with it has been a couple of interesting days. Boo is just the sweetest little girl. She is so young and so she will really play her heart out and then sleep for four or five hours. Awwww the life of a cat in the Gobea house. lol... Anyway, I think that our walk this morning must have really wore Boo and Lucy out. As you can see she crawled up on my lap while I was trying to get some cards done and she fell asleep. While Boo was napping I decided to watch the Flicka movie that Jerry bought for me. (Great movie!) This whole time Lucy was laying on the floor behind my desk chair and as you can see she too was totally knackered. lol...   Poor baby however can hear my camera a mile away so she always opens her eyes.
     Sunday however was starving this morning and as I have finally convinced Jerry that she is better off outside all the time versus being in and out she was more than happy to get a bowl of warm watered down milk and her food. Good start to her day. She loves to lay under my Trooper when it gets really hot. She is quite happy to be outside were she can see everything that is going on.
     Ok guys, my throat is hurting and I am rambling so I think I will turn in for today. Hope all have a great morning and I will talk at you tomorrow.

Sweet & Toxic

Good morning everyone!
     Well, I didn't get a lot of crafting time yesterday, but I sure had a lot of fun getting into trouble with Jerry. lol! We spent our afternoon walking around downtown and then we headed into the one store that always tends to get me (and him) into trouble.   But as I am trying to make my Mom suffer (just a little) for not coming over last night to see what my surprise was, I will wait and come back to what we did with our afternoon in a little it.
However, once we got home from picking the M&Ms up from school they got their homework done and we headed off on a great walk. It was such a nice afternoon and not too hot or cold. I just love getting in a good walk before we headed back in to watch some of the new shows coming out. Jerry always has the line up ready to go. lol.... Then I made a quick card with the newest Miss Anya Hat collection. I had colored all of them up over the weekend, so all I had to do was decide which on to use and what I wanted to do with her. She is playing around with her new purse and decided it would be a perfect little purse to use as a trick-or-treat bag.  Then Anya put on her best hair ties that when folded just right look like bat wings. hee hee  She then wanted to have her Ghost friend with her, so out she came. I love the ribbon and the Ghost stick pin. Thanks to Amy for the awesome blog candy!
     Ok guys, that's my card for today. I hope you all have a fantastic Friday! Yay Friday! I can't wait to get up early Saturday and head out on our long walk for the week.
      So, have I made you all wait long enough to find out what kind of trouble Jerry and I go into yesterday? Well... as we were walking around downtown we decided to stop into the pet store. We usually go over and check out all the little black kittens that no one wants because they have no idea what a great cat they make. Our absolute favorite kind of cats! Anyway, they didn't have any black kittens. They did however have two little ones. One was a soft cream color, but he was a boy and we didn't want a boy. Then there was this adorable tortoiseshell little girl that is all dressed up and ready to go for Halloween. lol... OMWord, she is so sweet and she hasn't meowed at all. We looked at each other and before we knew what we were doing we decided to bring her home to the M&Ms. I feel really stupid for getting another cat, but then I think of all the times my Dad would call my Mom and say "Honey I met the cutest girl today and she really wants to come home with me." lol   Then we would end up with a beautiful German Shepard when Dad got home from work. Needless to say the kids are over the moon about her. Lucy not so much, but she is getting used to it little bit by little bit. We have kept them separate until the little one is old enough to get vaccinated.  We did take her to our Vet and got her some de-worming medicine to be on the safe side. Then she has to go back in a week to get her shots.  She only a little over five weeks old, so they couldn't give them to her yet. These pictures really don't do her justice as she is just as sweet as she is cute! I told Jerry it was his turn to name her and he came up with Boo.   We all just fell in love with that name, so Boo she is. She has browns, oranges and black all over. Sunday is still here and we are still feeding her, but Jerry has been trying to get her used to the inside of the house because of winter, but she just doesn't want to be inside. She howls and hisses everytime he brings her in and then again when she takes her out. Just not worth it. I am afraid she is going to hurt him or one of the kids, and that will not turn out good for her if she does. We'll just have to make her a house outside and hope that will keep her warm and safe during the cold winters here. That too we shall see. Thanks everyone that stops by and lets me ramble on. You are all too sweet.

Hi guys.
     I sure hope that you are all having a great week so far. Tomorrow is my half day and I have to tell you that I am so so so HAPPY about it. Sure I do have some running around to do afterwards, but still it will be nice to have a couple of hours of free time. lol... Yeah right. :O)
     Anyway, I just wanted to share a small little card that I managed to make yesterday and finish tonight before heading off to dream land. I just purchased WS Dahlia from TGF and she showed up in the mail and I had to have a little fun coloring her up for Halloween.   I must admit that I am having fun with all the new paper pads this year, but for some reason my cards just aren't coming out like I envision them. Must just be a lag in my heart and the weather. So without a list of the Copics and supplies because I lost it on my very very messy desk. (I am sure I will find it Friday night when I clean this mess that has become the top of my work station). lol

Happy Glee Day to you all !!!

     Good morning all.
     I am going to start off this morning by pretending that we are closer to the weekend than we really are. lol... No, I have not lost my mind. I am just tired and the week has just gotten under way.   However as anyone that has ears and is in the know, knows that tonight is Glee!!!! I have to tell you that all four of us can not wait until 8pm tonight. The M&Ms have already promised to have all their homework done long before I get home from work just so that we can eat dinner and be ready to go. lol.... Yes, we are all GLEEKS, and proud of it!
     Ok, I am going to get right to it as we are all dragging along this morning and as you can tell I am trying to get everything in before I head out the door for the day. First I can not believe that I have 135 followers. You guys are so great and I just love coming home and reading all of your sweet comments. It truly means a lot to me. So thanks so much to you all.   Second, I wanted to Thank Denice for the awesome layout that she made with the new clear fairy stamps from The Greeting Farm. It was part of a blog candy that she had and I was the very lucky girl to win it. I just love it and one of my friends' daughters just had her very first Grandchild, so I used this fantastic layout to put her baby pictures in it. I am taking this to her this Thursday and I can not wait to see her reaction. All I did was blow up the pictures that she gave me and then put them on the layout. It truly is so beautiful. I wish you could see all the wonderful stitching that Denice did on it. Thanks again my friend, I know that she is going to just love it. She is going to have a black frame custom make for it so that it can be hung on her wall in her main living room. :O)

Good Monday morning everyone.
     Oy, what a weekend! lol... I really can't complain as I did have it off and we all did sleep in until 7am on Saturday. Yes, we watched a couple movies with our jammies on and drank some hot cocoa and coffee while snuggled on the couch with our warm blankets like it truly was a fall morning. lol... The mornings are really feeling like fall and all day Saturday it did as well. I am sad to say however that Jerry and I finally made the decision to winterize the pool. It is a relief to have it done, but there is also a part of me that hates to do it as well. I love summer and swimming with the M&Ms everyday, but we really haven't even touched a toe in the pool for over two weeks, so it was time. We are suppose to have a couple days this week that will get back into the 90's, but I truly doubt that it would be enough to get the pool water back over the 70 degrees that it was at when we dropped the water and put the winter blanket on it.   lol... Now that it is all done, I am truly enjoying the fall weather that we are getting in the mornings. It was so enjoyable to sit and watch the football game yesterday morning. It always reminds me of when Jerry and I were first married without any kids and we would get up early and spend the whole day watching games.
     We did go for a great walk on Saturday evening, but Mitchell really isn't feeling that great still and now Madison is busy keeping me up the last two nights as she can't breath and it is her duty to let me know this. :O)   To say the least it really wasn't a long walk. I am just happen to have gotten it in. As I mentioned before Jerry and I aren't feeling that great, so we really didn't do too much this weekend.
     Well that just about covers my whole weekend. We are off and running on yet another week and I really wanted to make a very special person a 'just because' card, so I decided that the new Soho Anya with her very laid back/adorable outfit would be just the go to girl I needed.   I also had bought this adorable postcard die-cut that I just had to have, but really had no use for what's so ever. Light bulb moment! I could use it as a kind of 'toast' to wish good luck to this person. I am being very vague as I know she reads my blog and I don't want to let the card out of the envelope until she gets it. lol...
     We are rather cool here this morning, so I am enjoying my cup of Joe and getting the M&M's and running for another fun filled week.  Wait, that includes me as well. lol... Aren't I a hoot when I have my coffee? hehee I hope you all have a great day and I will talk at you tomorrow.

Good morning everyone!
     It half way day... Yay! lol... I know everyone calls it hump day, but I prefer to think of it as half way day just because to me that means only two more days and I am off! Can you see the huge smile? I am so tired right now I really can't guarantee what I might say. I think eight grade just might kill me. lol.... I got home after 6:30pm last night to two teenagers that needed help with their social studies homework and then come Friday they both have a hugh test in science.   All ok, except I am NOT, nor have I ever been a Social studies person. I am a MATH person! I never had to study for math, I never flunked a math test, and I always loved the thrill of figuring out the problem. However social studies.... When I was in High School my Parents took me and my brother over to Puallup,Wa. and when we got there the lady at the hotel office asked me where we were from and I told her "Spokane, that's in Washington State." She smiled at me and politely informed me that so was 'Puallup '. I'm totally not making this up!   I just didn't care when I was a kid. No one every told me that in the future I would on a daily bases talk to people all over the world. :O)    Thank God Madison is really good at it. She teaches me so that I can help Mitchell. lol... They tend to love the math like me, but Madison is really really good at where things are in this world. She can name all the State capitals. I am lucky if I can name the States let alone tell you where they are on the map. lol... Truly!
     Ok, now that you all know just how dumb I am when it comes to that kind of thing let me just slip right into my card for today. When I got home I also had my latest order from The Greeting Farm waiting for me. Well you all know me well enough that there was not way I could wait another day to get my hands on CC Lula. I mean, come on she is just so cute and has such attitude I had to make a super quick card after my homework was done.. lol... As you can tell everyone's Halloween cards are starting to rub off on me, so I colored her up with a kind of punk, hip ready for Halloween look to her. Then I added in some of the papers from the BG eerie pad because it was still laying out on my desk.   I was kind of in a rush to get it done, so there isn't an inside to it yet. I'll get to it, but in the mean time I just wanted to share her with you guys. I swear I used more Copics on her hair and all than anything else on this whole card.
     Well I had better get a move on. I have to be at work by 8am, so you might say that I am running behind on what I call my schedule for the morning. I hope you all have a terrific half-way day.   Talk at you tomorrow.

A Haunting We Will Go !!!

Good morning all.
     I have to start my post off today by wishing a Happy Birthday to my baby brother Rick!!! Rick is 38 today and getting ever so much closer to those 40's. lol... I am sure that I have mentioned before how he has always given me and our older sister a hard time about being so much older than he is. He loved it when we were in our 30's and he was in his 20's. Used to tell us all the time how old we were. Love you Rick and I hope you have a great Birthday. (No matter how old you are getting. baaa haa ha!) So sorry guys, I just had to do it.
     As you can see I have a very different card for you today. I decided to step way out of my comfort zone and make a little zombie for a Halloween card. When I pulled out my Greeting Farm stamp binder Abby of the Creeper Crew was the first one to raise her hand and volunteer to put on some good old Halloween makeup. Apparently Abby just loves Halloween and she was tickled pink to get the chance to look like she just crawled out of the grave. What a sweetheart, she had been wearing her favorite pink and orange top along with her favorite pair of faded light blue jeans. She was good enough to let me get it all dirty and then we colored up her skin and of course she had to put in some contacts that would make her eyes look dull... lol.. All in all I think she turned out Spooktacular! I was really just playing around and I had a great time using some more of the fun goodies that Amy sent me in her candy.

Hi everyone.

     Did you have a great weekend? We really did.  I know I have said it before, but it went by so fast. I always think of my weekends as being great as we are all home together and we get to go for our walks and generally drive Jerry crazy for a good portion of the weekend. heehee... He is pretty good about it, as the kids and I can really get weird sometimes. Then there are other times when Jerry and I love to drive the kids crazy. baaahaa ha! That is when it's fun... :O) Of course they all know the party is over when it comes to picking on Mom. lol... Sometimes Jerry can really get both the M&Ms too wound up and then I have to step in and correct all three of them. I know! I sound mean, but it is as if I have three kids at times and the oldest is the worst of all. lol... Love you Jerry.
     Ok, enough about our weird little family. We had planned on getting up early and going over to the Twin Towers Memorial here in town, but Jerry informed me that no matter what he tried he could not get Madison or myself to get out of bed. Hmmmm.... So we decided after dinner that it had finally cooled down enough (84 degrees) and it would still be light out long enough so we went on our walk. It was so very peaceful and the flag was at half mass and there were candles and flowers there. We took a moment of silence for everyone then we said the Lords Prayer before heading back to our house. I am sorry to get too deep here on my blog, but I feel that it is important that our kids know the value of a person's life and the sacrifices that people make. Thank you for reading this long.
     So, if you are still hanging around I will get to my card for today. I am not sure if I mentioned it last week, but I was one of Amy Young's candy winners from her newest Sweet November Stamps release. Well,   I received my goodies in the mail on Friday so of course I just had to cut out Hilda and Vlad and color them up right away.   I just love, love how adorable they both are. I love Hilda's huge eyes and Vlad's kind of lopsided eyes. lol.... They were so much fun to color and I thought well now that I had them colored up they need to be entered into something special just to show them. I got to looking around blog land and ran across the Deconstructing jen blog.    I have never played on this site before and I loved the latest sketch # 18, so I thought that it would be great to give it a try with some of my new favorite stamps. lol... So here is my Deconstructing Sketch #18 entry. I hope you like it as much as I do. I wanted Hilda to look like she is kind of floating along with her little cauldron full of Who Knows What! Vlad on the other hand looks just a little concerned. If you noticed the little bat stick pin, it came along in the candy and so did the black rickrack. I sewed the rickrack into a flower and added one of the buttons that I also received. What can I say, I had so much fun making this card. I just love them both and I am going to have a great time coloring them...

REMEMBERING 9-11-01

This is my second post for today.
I just wanted to take a moment to remember all those that lost their lives and for all those that lost their loved ones that day. I will remember Sept. 11, 2001 forever. We are headed over to the monument that we have here in our little town. Then M&M's want to take some flowers over. We have gone over before to see it, and it is very strange because for some reason when you are standing there looking at it you feel the need to lay your hands on it. I also want to take a moment to say "Thank You" to all the Men and Women that are far from home keeping us all safe and giving us the FREEDOM that we live under.

Sundays with Cats....

Good morning everyone.      I hope that you are all having a great weekend.   I can not believe just how fast time goes by. I guess it's just because I worked a half day Thursday, had Friday off and it always seems like "Wow" I have so much time. I am so going to get a lot done and have fun too. Then before you know it, it's Sunday morning. Really I don't mean to sound like a cry baby, I just can't believe how fast it all goes.
     Ok, ok let me get to why you are here this morning. We are heading out for our long walk, so I will be quick and fill you in on our crazy cats.. Lucy is always my good girl and she really doesn't sweet the small stuff. She knows that both her water and food dish will be cleaned and refilled each and every morning by me. She knows that later each morning Jerry will feed the fish in both tanks and then she will get her treats for the day. lol.... Yes, she is a VERY spoiled house cat that we all love to pieces.   Even when Lucy was a little kitten she would sit right at the edge of the front door while it was wide open and watch us bring in the grocery and never ever go out the door. Well, she is no different now. She watches for me to come home from work and for the kids to walk through that door everyday after school... All the while never stepping one paw outside.. Smart, Smart girl!
     Sunday on the other hand is a somewhat crazy cat.  Jerry insist that it has been too hot in the afternoons to leave her outside so he has been trying to bring her in and let her sleep on his lap. She has allowed this quit a few times, but always with growls and hisses. She just can't let herself settle for long.  This Friday however Jerry tried once again to get her in and let her have a rest that didn't include her having to watch for things around her. Well this was the time that she decided to hiss, growl and finally scratch Jerry. It is very hard for him. He really loves her and he has finally come to the conclusion that he really doesn't know where she came from or what she has been through before she got here. He has finally decided to allow her to be the OUTSIDE cat that she chooses to be. She is happy outside and she is happy to be here. She is still following us on our walks, so this morning I will have to drive us around the corner and park so that we can walk further and not have to worry about this crasy black and white cat running behind. Yesterday when we went for our walk she was following us and at one point she actually hid beside a tree hoping that we wouldn't see her. lol... It really is funny and cute, but we all worry that she might get run over or run into a cat that has a meaner attitude than she does.
     So, now that I have put you all back to sleep. lol... Let me get to my pictures that I have picked to share with you.   This is some of Lucy in Mitchell's dresser drawer while Jerry is busy cleaning his room trying for the 100th time to find Mitchell's lost cell phone. (I won't go into that as it will just upset me again!) As you can see Lucy decided that it was a great place to take her nap.

Hi guys.
     I am off work today, but I still have to run the M&Ms to school. I then get to come home and spend a few hours with just me and my Hubby. Wow, I don't know how that works. lol... Just kidding, I can not wait for us to have a few minutes together. Usually the only time we have just the two of us is when we go grocery shopping. It's sad, but true. Don't get me wrong, you all know I love my babies and I love spending time with them. It's just fun to have time to laugh and talk with Jerry as two adults.
     So, yesterday when I go home from work I had an awesome package in the mail. Yes, it was Amy's wonderful Sweet November Release candy and I was lucky enough to win not only Hilda & Vlad, but a card she made and omword, a ton of goodies to go along with it. I can not wait to have a few minutes to color and play.
     I thought I would show you a picture of her great card. Thanks again Amy. I love it all. :O) I am sure you have all seen it, but Madison wanted me to show you all what I did last night for her. As you all know she loves for me to paint her nails and put designs on them. That is how I spent last night so that she could show all her friends as school.   She loved how they turned out. I guess I am lucky, because at the age of 13 she is NOT into makeup.... She just loves to grow out her nails and have me paint them. Can't ask for more than that. lol

     I am so sorry to have made you all wait sooooooo long to find out who my Blog-a-versary candy winner is.   I video taped my daughter and I cutting everyone's comments into strips and then folding them all up and putting them all in a HUGH bowl. We then shook them up and my Daugter picked the winner! Happy Halfway Day!!!
      Hi guys. I am running so late this morning so for once when I say this is going to be quick it won't be a lie.   lol....
       My card today is one that I made for my oldest Niece's Birthday which was Saturday. She just turned 12 and I can not believe it.  I wanted to give my stamp a more tweenager look, so I stamped up Amelia and gave her some of Piper's super cute skirt and leggings. lol... I then decided that this would be a perfect card for the 'By the Numbers' challenge over on the FFF blog. Of course like any good card making Aunt I didn't get her card sent off to her until after the fact. :O (   Sorry Kiela, but it is on it's way. Love you!

TIME TO GET BACK TO WORK...

Good morning everyone.
     That includes my Mom and Dad that I didn't get the chance to talk to this weekend. My phone was not being nice all weekend...
     I hope you all had a great extended weekend. We didn't do much except enjoy the day off and take a shorter walk than we were planning as it was a whole lot cooler than any of us had anticipated. lol... We all felt that it was on the cool side, but it usually is when we leave. We didn't start to complain about it until we had walked about two miles from our house when we all admitted that we were all very COLD! It would have been funny if we had not all been so miserable.   I tell you the last part of our walk went really fast as we headed home and didn't waist anytime getting there. Oh well, tonight we will give it a go after I get home from work.
     So as you all know it's back to work for me and I am sure it is going to be a busy - crazy day so I will get right to my card.  As you can see I have yet another 'Thank You' card today.   This one hasn't been sent to the person yet, and she reads my blog so I won't go into details. Let's just say she was a sweetie and sent me something the other day that I just love and am hoping to share with you all at a later date.
     As the mornings are getting much cooler and even though the next week is still suppose to be in the 90s during the days I thought that it was time to make Fall looking card.   I had some new MME papers that for me just have that fun Fall like feel to them.  Of course that meant that Harlow had to come out and play. She has that light weight jacket on and her stocking cap. I paper pieced her jacket and cap to give them both that knitted look. I had such a great time making this card. Harlow is one of my favorite Creeper Crew Stamps and I played around with her hair to accentuate her curly hair. lol...

Happy Labor Day everyone!
     I hope that you all had a great weekend, and for those of you that have today off I hope you have a wonderful day. I had to work on Saturday, but I am actually happy because that means I get a two day weekend anyway as we are closed today! Yay!! I am not even going to think about how busy we are going to be tomorrow, I am just enjoying today. :O)
     I am going to get right to my card today, as we are about to head out for a long walk.   I am sorry to go on you once again about our walks, but that is what today's card is all about. Over the last few weeks you all know that we have been walking downtown to extend our route just a little bit. Well a little while ago we found the coolest cake shop on one of the side streets. We didn't even know that it was there, and as you know we walk so early in the mornings it of course has been closed every time we have gone by. However there are cakes modeled in the front window and we all just drool each and every time we go by. So, last Thursday when the M&Ms got off of school Jerry and I picked them up and surprised them by heading over to check it out and get a look at it on the inside. All of us are huge fans of the Food Network's Cake Challenge and Cupcake Wars, so we were excited to see the inside of the cake store. lol... The store is called Classy & Crazy Cakes and the woman that makes the cakes is Donna. She is 24 and she has competed with some of the stars from the Food Network. We had the pleasure of meeting her Mom Rose who was running the store while we were there. I have to confess that all four of us spent over an hour visiting with her.  We had a great time hearing about her Daughter and seeing picutes of just a few of her awesome cakes. We wanted to try one of her cupcakes, so we decided to share one that was called the Neapolitan   OMGoodness! This cupcake had a cut strawberry on top with chocolate frosting that had little shavings of chocolate in it (not too rich, just right) all on a wonderfully - just perfect yellow cake. I am telling you I have never tasted a cupcake like this one. Mind you I only had one bight of it as the M&Ms devoured the rest of it. lol.... Rose was so sweet however, as she would not let Jerry pay her for the cupcake.
     Ok, so getting back to my card today you all know how much I love me some Greeting Farm stamps, so of course sending Rose a 'Thank You' card with Birthday Anya II on it just seemed to be the perfect thing to do. I had so much fun making her this card and I really spent way too much time fussing over it, but I really want her to know how much we appreciated her time and generosity with us. My two M&Ms really love getting to meet people and finding out all about them.  That makes me happy as I tend to be a gabby gus myself.  ( I know you just can't believe it. lol) It is just always so interesting to learn about people in a small town as not everyone starts out where they end up and their journeys are always so interesting.

Hi guys.      I really did have a Sunday's with two crazy cats post for you today, but when I went to upload my pictures of Sunday my computer just wasn't having any of it. Hi guys.

     I know that I said I wouldn't be posting for most of this week, but it would seem that I do have a little time to share a couple of things with you this morning.  I am so happy to say that the kids made it through their first day of school and they were both very happy to see their friends once again. The new hair styles were a big hit and so were Madison's nails. She always loves it when I agree to make some kind of design on her nails. This time we found a great idea on YouTube by several different people, so we kind of just made it our own. We were both very happy with how they came out. You will notice that they look like pencils. lol...
     I thought I would share a couple of photos that I made the M&Ms stand for this morning. Madison as always was more than happy to have her picture taken and Mitchell as always really didn't want to, but knows that he has to make Mom happy. As you can see he won't give me a real smile and when I push he gives me this look of "OMG, I am going to die if I really have to do this!" So it the hopes of catching him in a good smile I keep trying. lol... Oh well, maybe next year. :D

JUST PLAYING AROUND...

Surprise!
     I actually have a card to share today. I know I said I wouldn't have much to share due to the M&Ms going back to school this morning, but as we all had everything ready to go last night I decided to finish up this little one that I have been playing around with for the last two days.
     I don't know if any of you caught a glimpse of the awesome card that Carisa over on the Greeting Farm blog colored last Monday, but if you didn't you need to check it out and then give it a try. She came across the idea of coloring a stamped image withOUT the black lines. Yes, you read me right. It is NOT a typo... I really have to tell you that her card is just beautiful!  If you didn't see it you HAVE to check it out here. Don't you think that it looks like she painted it?   I just love it, so I had to give it a try.
     I used the new and very Sweet Amelia from the OA-Surprise set. I just love her hair! My card is in no way as good as Carisa's, but I am going to keep practicing as it was super fun to give it a go. Anyway I think she came out ok, but I went over her eyes with my Sepia Multi Liner and I really wish I hadn't. Oh well, I will try something else for the eyes next time. lol....   This card is more for the practice of the technique and not to actually give to someone, so I am ok with it for now. : D
     I hope that you are all having a great week so far. It if already Wednesday and I for one am so looking forward to being off come Monday. Yes!   Talk at you all tomorrow as I am sure there will be much to share what with today being the first day of Eight grade.
