I AM SOOOO EXCITED...

Hi guys. Well it's Saturday and I have big news for all of you. I am sure that you all know how much I love Amy Young's wonderful stamps. Well she has a new release coming out on February 15th at midnight and she has asked me to be one of her two guest gals for the Sweet November stamps release over at All That Scraps. I am soooooo excited. It has taken all I can do to not say anything until today. Starting on Sunday Amy will be doing sneak peeks and candies over on her blog at http://athousandsheetsofpaper.blogspot.com/ . While she is sharing her wonderful creations with you both Rachel and I will be showing her stamps as well. You can catch all of Rachel's wonderful work at http://papercraftingplace.blogspot.com/ , so be sure to check her out as well and give her your love..

My card today is one I made with Amy's digi Sparklethistleweed. Isn't she just the sassiest thing you ever saw? I decided that she had to be in a Valentine's card. However, she is not your most traditional of fairies, so she decided that she would really love to have pink, blues and greens on her card. lol..Gggrrr.. I just noticed how dark my pictures are, sorry it must have been operator error last night.lol....So, remember you can purchase all of Amy's great stamps over at All That Scraps. They come in both digi and rubber. What are you waiting for? Talk at you tomorrow when you will get to meet Bunny. Lisa G

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY...

Good morning all. Happy Thursday to you. This is going to be a quick on as I didn't really like how my card had turned out, so I wasn't going to post it today. Thank you all for your concerns over Lucy(our cat) yesterday. She is home and walking around slowly. Poor baby is still a little groggy, but she is at least wagging her tail for us. We have always called her our dog because she wags her tail when she is happy or when Jerry talks to her. Wow, you would think she was one of our kids the way we are all acting. So thanks again.

Ok, let me get to my not so fabulous card. I don't know if I have mentioned it, but I really love the way that Angela colors the Ching-Chou Kuik stamps from Sweet Pea Stamps. She makes their hair and eyes look soooo real. You can and should check her out at http://inmyquiettime.blogspot.com/ she sure can color....Getting back to my (short) post. So, because I love to stretch myself when it comes to creating I got the wild idea that I had to try some of these stamps. The one I used for my card is ching-chou-kuik's-Purple Woods. The stamp is amazing, and I really do love it. So I cut her out and used her as a Valentine's card. The card was quickly put together last night, and because I colored the stamp over two weeks ago I can not find my list of Copics that I used. Not happy with that. So, sorry I don't have a list of supplies and the pp really is not as elegant as I originally wanted to use with this stamp but here it is. Have a great day everyone. I am off to work. Yay, just today and tomorrow. Then it is play time. I have a big surprise for you on Saturday, so be sure to check back with me. Talk at you later, Lisa

I'M WALKIN ON SUNSHINE....

Good morning everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. I am getting ready for work and trying to fight off our sweet cat Lucy from getting into my water this morning. She is off to the vet at 8 to get spaid and she can't have anything to drink or eat. That is not what Lucy wants to listen to. She gets up with me every morning and waits in the bathroom while I take my shower. Then my first order of business is turn on the lights as she follows along and then we are off to the kitchen to get her fresh food and very cold water from the tap. Jerry tells me that I have spoiled her so much that it is not funny. Anyway back to my problem. I went through my whole routine with the exception of her food and water and you should have seen the look in her copper eyes. I felt so bad. She then just laid down right where her bowl usually is and looked at me like "Do you not see something wrong here?" lol....Can you tell that I love my kitty?
Ok, if you have lasted this long let me get onto to today's card. I am not sure what my mood is this week, but work has been more intense that usual yet when I look at my card in the morning as I am posting this I notice that the cards I have made the last few nights have all had bright colors and they all remind me of sunshine and things you think of in the spring or summer....Hmmmm. I don't know. So anyway getting back on track today's card was made with the wonderful Gigi. She is a Wild Sprout from the Greeting farm and drawn be none other than the very talented Amy Young. I love this little WS she always puts me in a good mood. That is why I paired her with the ultra happy paper from pebblesinc. It is a quick card I made last night, but I am very please how it turned out. Sending you all warm thoughts and sunshine. Have a great day, Lisa G

NUTS ABOUT YOU....

Hi all. I hope that you have made it through Monday without any bumps or bruises. Today is going to be a quick one. All of a sudden everything has gotten so busy for me and it isn't even close to being summer. I am hoping that things will settle down soon. Thanks for all of your sweet comments yesterday. You really make my evenings when I get home from a very long day at work...lol..

Today's card is a very simple little card. I picked up these pre-made card blanks at our local dollar tree, and I just had to use the green one with this little guy. The funny things is that once I started to take my pictures I realized that I had made a card with circle again.lol..I wonder what that means when you get into a circle mode? Hummmmm! Anyway, this card I made for my ds. I used Ian from the Mom & Dad set. I think he is sooo cute, and he reminds me of when my son was little. Have a great day all, talk at you tomorrow. Lisa G

ALWAYS STOP & SMELL THE FLOWERS...

Good morning to you. I hope you all had a great weekend. We did, but as always it went entirely too fast for me...lol...So far as I can see the only two things wrong with the weekend is that it ends too fast and that there is no mail or any kind of delivery on Sundays. lmbo...Moving on. I have to tell you, that this weekend every time I sat at my desk to get creative I either did not come up with anything that worked or my husband would interrupt with the idea to watch a movie or go somewhere. lol I finally started to get my mojo going about 8:30 last night when before you know it, it was time to head off to bed...Gggrrrrrrrr! I only was able to make one card this entire weekend...That really does not make me very happy. I like to relax and get some work done. Oh well, I did have a great time with Jerry and the kids.
So, let me get to my fantastic card that I made and messed up on right before I was getting ready to take pictures of it. I colored in my boo boo as best I could, but if I was going to send this to someone I would so be making a completely new card. Have a great day everyone. I hope everyone is staying warm. Lisa G
