ST. PATTY'S DAY...

Good morning all. I hope that you all had a wonderful start to your week. We had a great day at work and it went so fast. I just love those kinds of days. :O)

I know that it isn't St. Patrick's Day yet, but I am making some more cards for my friend's Granddaughter. I just think that it is so sweet of her. I can remember when my Grandpa sent my Sister and I a school box full of licorice and a set of Rosary beads each. That was in 1972 and I still have such fond memories of it. My Grandpa has been gone for over 39 years now, but I still have the Rosary safely tucked away.

Sorry, I didn't mean to go down that road, but I just think that it is awesome for her to send her only Granddaughter so much love in the mail. I mean who doesn't LOVE to get a package in the mail? heehee

Ok, do you remember I mentioned I had something great to share with you all. Well, my friend and I are going out of town of Saturday to shop at Michael's, Joannes and Hobby Lobby. I have never ever been in a Hobby Lobby and I am sooooo excited. You would think that I was going to Disney Land. lol... Anyway, I have been saving up and I can not wait to get to see all those scrapbooking and crafting goodies. I miss having a local scrapbook store. I shop online, but it just isn't the same. I am so, so excited. I will be counting the days. If you know how to get the coupons that everyone is always talking about can you let me know how? Thanks in advance.

Anyway, as I was saying this is a card for my friend and I wanted to use Fleur Anya for it as I think she has the sweetest face. I also got a surprise package in the mail on Saturday. Thank you so much Shani. Luckily it had a Studio G stamp set in it that was for of all things St. Patty's Day. I stamped the four leaf clovers and colored them in so that they could be a part of her headband. I think the whole thing worked out so well. I also used the new Beaded Ovals from Spellbinders and decided to thread the ribbon through it.

SWEET NOVEMBER STAMPS RELEASE DAY...

Hi guys. Happy Monday to you all. It is sure to be a fabulous Monday as today is the big release of Amy Young's Sweet November stamps over at ATS. I had the privilege to get the Taurus stamp and OMGoodness was she so fun to color. As I watched everyone cards from the collection this last week it got me to thinking about all the possibles these lovely stamps have... If you didn't catch it last week you need to know that these beautiful ladies come in at about 3x4 inches. They are just amazing. I am not kidding you, are going to love them all. I plan on heading over to ATS just as soon as I am off work to buy all of them.

So with all of that being said about the newest Sweet November Stamps I decided to share with you the Taurus from the new collection without her horns. As you all know I love to color faces and this stamp gave me the perfect one to play with. I used one of my new Spellbinders to give her a frame it was a portrait of her. Her hair wasn't doing to well for me last night, but overall I just love how she turned out.

SUNDAYS WITH LUCY...

Good morning everyone.

I hope that your weekend is going good for you all. We had such a beautiful day here yesterday. It was so sunny and the temperatures were up in the 50's with little to no wind. Wow, we were outside without coats on. I just love the feel on Springtime. I realize that we could very well be back to freezing by Monday, but for now I'll take what I can get. lol...

As you have all gotten to know by now this is my Sundays with Lucy post. I was busy making some cards last night and as always Lucy decided that she needed to lay down in the middle of all of my mess. Once I had finished one of my cards and taken all of my pictures I was putting away my Copic Markers when for the first time ever Lucy decided that she was very interested with all of them. I really could not believe what she was doing, so I had to take some pictures to share with you all. At first she was trying to get them out of their slots, but when I explained to her that was "not" going to happen she looked at me with sad eyes then she decided to turn her back to me and just cross her front paws like the lady that she is. She then continued to sit and look at them all. heehee! She is so funny and very entertaining to all of us.

Good morning everyone. I am so glad it is Friday. I do work tomorrow, but there is just something about it being Friday. lol...

Well, I am going to get right to it this morning as I have a lot to get done before I head out the door with the M&M's. So I know it is going to shock some of you, but I have a new stamp that I made this card with. I am sure that you have noticed the Wee Stamps badge on my sidebar and this is Loves Me Not-digi and I just think she is so sweet. I colored her up a week ago in bed one night when I could not sleep. Even now, I can not believe that she came out as good as she did. As you all know I am not much of a pastel person, but she just whispered soft. :O) What can you do? As you can see I am in a pearl mood this week so of course this one has pearls on it as well. I think it worked with the feeling I was going for. heehee....

Good morning all.

Look what came in the mail Wednesday. Yes, it is the newest addition to the Greeting Farm Creeper Crew Collection 1. I love these stamps! I just had to color up Sasha and make a card with her last night. Soooo CUTE! :O)

I am sitting here this morning listening to Glee on my iPod shuffle enjoying some quiet time before everyone gets up and ready for their day. I really can't think of a better way to start my day then with some great music and a little quiet time. I love me some quiet time in the early morning. heehee

Before I get to today's card let me remind you that my friend Amy Young is previewing her Sweet November stamps this week and today is the 4th day of the previews. Be sure to run on over. I guarantee that you are going to love these Sweet stamps.

Now, as for my card I colored up Sasha from the Creeper Crew Collection 1. I sure hope that means that there are going to be more. Anyway, Sasha looked so cute in her little cowgirl boots that I really just had to use some of the Wanted paper collection from Cosmo Cricket to show her love of all things country. I think she likes to listen to Tim McGraw (or maybe it's just that she likes to look at him) and dance her heart out. lol As you can see she has her make-up done just right and she is ready to dance the night away. These stamps are just so much fun to color and you sure can use them for just about anything. I have cut them all out, but I am hoping to get some time this weekend after work to play some more with them.

THINKING OF YOU...

Hi guys.

I hope that your week is going along smoothly. We have been sooo busy at work. It seems so silly, as I have been doing this job for over 20 years and yet when the first of the month rolls around you just can't believe how busy we are. I mean come on, it shouldn't come as a surprise to me it happens every month. Duh... lol! Anyway, it has sure made this week fly by. I can not believe that it is already Wednesday. WOW.

Have you hit Amy Young's blog these last two days? I am sure that you have. However if you have been on vacation, hit on the head or just crawled out of a cave from hibernating be sure to head over there right now. You are so going to love her new Sweet November stamps that she has been previewing. These stamps are just awesome and so is the candy she is giving away.

Well, lets get to my card for today. I was trying to use up some scraps that I have and I also wanted to play along with the Saturday Sketch over at CA&F. So I decided that I needed to let someone that I hadn't played with in a very long time come out and play along. Well of course WS- Reeta was just the girl. She even brought along her cute little cat with her. I have also been watching a little bit more YouTube than I should and I wanted to try my hand at making a banner for my sentiment. I really enjoy watching Arlene (mybutterflykisses12) and she has a great tutorial on how she does just that. I have to say that I am very happy with how mine turned out. It just gives my card just a little bit more dimension and you can't go wrong with dimension. :O)

MISS ANYA HATS OFF...

Good morning everyone.

I am so happy to share that we now have a brand new hot water tank! I am not embarrassed to admit that I took an extra long shower this morning. OMWord it just felt soooo good.... :O)

I do feel bad for our landlords however, man is it expensive to have someone come over and pull out the old one and replace it with a new one.

Ok ok, I have waited as long as I can to share the fact that my new Creeper Crew stamps from CHA came in the mail yesterday. Oh, I just love all of them. I even stayed up late last night coloring Sasha... I am hoping to get her card done tonight so that I can share it with you tomorrow.

Well, I had better get to it. I am starting to run behind and I have a lot to do before work. I have been wanting to color up this adorable Miss Anya, so that's just what I did. I think she looks so sophisticated with her hat and the way she is sitting. lol.... I also really was in the mood to use some pearls and decided to make a plain card that can be used for just about any occasion. I think the pearls worked out just fine with the whole feel of this one. heehee
