PLAYING WITH LINDY'S STAMP GANG...

My Favorite Things * All That Scraps* Taylored Expressions

Spellbinders *ovals, circles, squares & etc.

Spellbinders*labeles
 Good morning all.
I hope that you are all having a great week.  We got up into the 90's yesterday, and it is suppose to get up there again today.  I have been lazy the last couple of nights after work and so I haven't gotten a card made for you today.  I did however get the chance to play around with some of the Lindy's Stamp Gang Sprays.   I know this isn't the best, but it was really fun to make. I am hoping to get better with some practice.   I really don't have any jewels, but I was able to use a few of the beads I have in my stash.  The whole idea behind this was when I made my binders for my Spellbinders and Die-namics was for me to have a way to know which binder was what when they were on my shelf.   I used some of the wood letter beads and sprayed them with the new Breakfast Club Blue Starburst stain.  I let it dry for a while then I put them in a baggie and washed them with soap and water to make the dye very light.  Then I sprayed them with the Ghostly Gargoyle White Starburst Spray.   I added the beads and put them on the binders.  I think they turned out ok for now (they really shine and have a shimmer, but the camera is just NOT picking it up) and when I get really good at this I will change them up.   lol.... I guess we're never really happy with our first attempts.
The binders are *shapes for the Spellbinders (squares, circle, ovals & etc.)  the *labels are for all the Spellbinder's Labels dies and the  *MFT, ATS AND TE* is for My Favorite Things, All That Scraps & Taylor Expression's dies.
Ok guys,  have a great day.  I am off early today and I am hoping to get a card done that has been in my head the last couple of days, but I didn't want to rush it.  :O)  Talk at you tomorrow.
Hugs, Lisa G

YOU'RE SO SWEET...

Good morning all.
I am going to have to make this a quick one this morning as I was so tired last night after work I barely had time to a make card let alone post it.  lol...  I can't believe that having five straight days off from work makes such a difference when you get back.  :O(   While I was off enjoying Jerry and the M&Ms we would all get up early and go for a walk then we would come home and go for a swim to start off each day.  Ok, maybe Jerry didn't do the early morning swim every time.  However the M&Ms and I would as we are all part Mermaid & Merman.   lol...  Yet still here I am tired from just one day back at work.  I am guessing that it has something to do with doing something you really LOVE doing versus something that is part of your everyday necessities.   We did have a busy day yesterday as we had been closed on Monday for the 4th and I am sure you all know what that means to how the next day will be when you are open for business once again.
Oh well,  I'll quit complaining and get to my short  but SWEET card for the day.   I know you will be shocked, but I didn't use a Greeting Farm stamp nor did I even pull out a Copic marker.  I simply used this adorable tag from WeR Memory Keepers and some stickles for shine.  It really was a fast little Thank You card.  I also used some of the Viva Perlen pen to make as an accent on the ribbon.
It isn't anything over the top creative,  but I do love how the cupcake is embossed and how my bow came out.  I do wish that the cupcake would have been in pinks and browns.  Now that would have made me want to rush to the grocery store.  Yeah like I need an excuse to want a yummy cupcake.  lmbo
Have a wonderful day everyone,  and I will talk at you tomorrow.
Hugs, Lisa G

I STOPPED AND THOUGHT ABOUT YOU TODAY...

Good morning everyone.
Can you believe that it is already Tuesday?  I hope that everyone who celebrates the 4th of July had a wonderful day.   We really didn't do much yesterday as we had our Bar-B-Q the day before.  We did however go swimming and stayed in the pool after dark so that we could watch the town's fire work display from our backyard.  It is really nice getting to see it and not having to spend the whole day downtown with tons of people.. lol... Yes, I am getting old.  :O)   I have to say that our town put on one heck of a display this year!  Madison was so excited and squealing every time a huge multicolored one would explode.  It was just fantastic!
Ok, as I have to go back to work today I had better get to my card.  Tickled Pink Stamps is having a Design Team call.  You can enter projects or cards that you have made in the past as well as new ones.  You can also enter as many times as you would like,  so I thought that I would use the awesome stamp that Kellie gave us for free called Lil Lolita-Christina.   I just think she is soooo cute and I hadn't had time to color her up until now.   As you know I had just gotten the new BG paper pad- Out of Print and I just had to put her with it.   I have to say that I am truly pleased with how she came out.   I also got the chance to use one of  Lindy's Stamp Gang awesome sentiment stamps and I love, love how well it stamps and how easy it was to use part of it on the outside of the card as well as the inside.   As you all know I don't usually make cards that have a lot of different prints and colors going on,  but OMWord, I just love how this one came out.  I see it as being simple, but fun all rolled into one. :O)
I hope that you all have a wonderful day.  I will talk at you tomorrow.
Hugs,  Lisa G

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY....

Happy 4th Of July everyone.
I hope that all of you celebrating July 4th have a safe and fun day.  As for everyone else, I hope your day is wonderful and your week is starting of great.
We spent the last two days in our pool and had such a great time.  We decided to have family over to bar-b-q yesterday so that today would just be a relaxing day without any picking up afterwards.  lol...I have to head back to work tomorrow, and we just wanted today to be a calm and relaxing one.   I love having the holidays off, but I sure wish that the Post office had robots that delivered mail everyday of the year.  lol...  I can not wait to get the new stamps from The Greeting Farm and I know that having the post office closed today means I have to be patient for one extra day.  lol...
Ok guys let me get to my card for today.   It is July 4th and I just had to make something to do with some of my holiday papers.  I go to thinking and because it is Monday and the 4th of July CC Monday just had to be the girl to go on this one.  The Yankee Doodle Sweetheart is a tag from WeR Memory Keepers and I also used the 6x6 pad that goes with it.   I think she makes a such a cute little sweetheart.
Ok guys,  I think that I had better get creating for the day.  I hope that you all have a wonderful Monday.  Talk at you tomorrow.
Hugs,  Lisa G

This is how Madison wanted me to paint her nails for the 4th of July.  This
design is a new one for me, so it only came out ok.  lol...

Of course Madison feels that her Dad's COKE just shouts
AMERICAN so she wanted you to see her untouched nails while she was
holding a cold can of her favorite drink.....

IT'S GREAT TO BE BACK....

Yes, that's  Me and Tracey

Tracey and My Madison

Hi guys. I am so happy have to my computer back and my finger is doing so much better as long as I don't use it too much to type with.   I was a good girl yesterday and last night about not typing or keeping the brace on while I do.   lol...Talk about looking silly.  :O)
However yesterday I didn't get a card made because I was off and I had a great day.   We had one of my cousins come in from out of town for the morning, so we all went over to Ephrata to visit with them.  Afterwards Madison and I were given the opportunity to go and meet Tracey.  If you don't already know who Tracey is I am sure you know of Lindy's Stamp Gang.  Yes, you guessed it.  Tracey is Co-Owner on Lindy's Stamp Gang and she is just as sweet and fun as she looks.  We were able to visit with her and she even gave me some examples as to how to use her wonderful products.  I am sure that you all know about their Starburst Sprays and Magical Micas as well as their Glitz Spritz and Moon Shadows.  Lindy's even has rubber stamps.  Tracey is a sweetheart and gave us some of her rubber stamps and then she even let me purchase her newest set (not out until today) of Starburst Sprays.  It is the Summer of 89 collection and it has the best names ever.   They are called - Wake Me Up Before You Go Gold,  Breakfast Club Blue,  Open Arms Amethyst, Pretty In Pink Pink and Tainted Love Teal.   You can purchase them here,  as they just went on sale today!     I am new to all of these mediums, but I can not wait to experiment with them.  :O)   Thanks again Tracey for letting us visit your wonderland.  It was so much fun to get to know you and hear about your very talented Mom.
Have a great day everyone and I will talk at you tomorrow.
Hugs, Lisa G

GGggggrrrr!

Hi guys.
Long time no talk.  :O(    I have had a couple of days that would test anyone's patience.  First I hurt/strained my middle finger and have had to wear a brace on it since Monday night.  Doesn't make it very easy to type, color or even leave any of my comments on everyone's wonderful projects this week.
Then, as  if that wasn't enough my computer info has been messed up by something and every time I did try to leave a comment or watch something on YouTube it wouldn't let me get into it either.  Don't you just want to cry.  I just really wanted to SCREAM!
I am typing this an hoping that it is finally going to play nice.  I have today off after all and we have already gone on our family walk together and swim in the pool..   I have to hit the shower however and I am headed over to meet Tracey from Lindy's Stamp Gang.  I am sooo excited.  I am hoping to get some pictures to share for tomorrow.  :O)
Here are a couple of pics from my one and only card that I have managed to make this week.
Well guys take care and I am hoping to talk at you tomorrow.
Hugs, Lisa G

GOD BLESS AMERICA....

Good morning my friends.
I hope that you all had a wonderful weekend.  Mine was a short one as you know, but I am not complaining.  I have a very long weekend coming up starting on Thursday afternoon and I can not wait!  I didn't even realize that this coming weekend was the 4th of July until my Mom called me to see if we were going to have a pool party and watch the fireworks from down town in our back yard.   We live just one block over from the lake, so we get a really great shot of the fireworks each year.   I am hoping that the hot weather holds out so that we can swim and watch the awesome display that the town puts on each year.
Speaking of the 4th of July TGF's  Farm Fresh Challenge blog has a 4th of July challenge this week.  They are making it so that everyone can play by making the challenge about making anything patriotic for where ever you call home.  Isn't that fantastic?   As you all know I have been making my Greeting Farm Calender this year and I thought that this would be the perfect opportunity to make my page for July.  (After all I almost forgot June, so I thought I would be a head this time.)
At first thought I was going to make something to do with the M&Ms' Birthdays as they are on July 30th and July 31st.  However when I read about this challenge I knew right away what I wanted to do.
I had just won some awesome blog candy from Danni and in it was the 6x6 paper pad from BoBunny called the Liberty Collection.  I immediately fell in love with the paper that had the American flag swaying in the wind.   I used my computer to print out God Bless America,  Land that I Love on the paper it's self. (Very proud of myself to figure out how to do this. lol..)  I then wanted to have a couple of things that America means to me.  The very first thing that comes to my mind is our Military and all the men and women that have and do fight for the very freedom that I enjoy every day of my life.  That meant that Soldier Ian had to go on my calender.  Then I thought well,  my Great Grandparents all came to the United States through New York.  Of course that meant that they all would have seen the Statue of Liberty  there holding her torch.   I didn't have a Statue of Liberty Anya, so Princess Anya no 3 helped out to be a stand in.   I have to admit that I LOVE how she turned out.   I then felt the need to show what that freedom means to me.  I ask Twirl Anya if she would like to help me out by holding a flag and celebrating this awesome holiday of ours.  I made her a flag out of a toothpick and some paper form WeR MemoryKeepers.  I think she reminds me of all the little girls and boys that have grown up enjoying fireworks and bar-b-ques with their families every year.
Sorry for the long post everyone.  I just really wanted to talk about what my calender page means to me and not just three Greeting farm stamps thrown on a piece of paper. lol...  I hope you like it and I hope you all have a wonderful week.
Hugs, Lisa G
