SATURDAY IN THE PARK.....

Hi everyone. I hope that your Saturday is going well. I thought I would sing Saturday in the Park for everyone...lmbo...Wanted to send some warm thoughts of sunshine, picnics in the parks, and the forth of July..It seems to be snowing all around us. We on the other hand haven't really gotten very much this year. I think that is very scary. We need to get snow and cold even if I don't like it..

So without much further ado here is my card for the day...I actually made this one last week , but I was busy with the CHA relay over at the Greeting farm so I never got a chance to post her. I used Miss Anya Love for this one, and I covered up her flowers with chipboard hearts to make it look like a bundle of hearts. Hope you like it. Thanks everyone for all of you wonderful comments. Good morning all. It's Friday! Yes, just eleven more hours and I am off work for 2 whole days......Yay! Can you tell me likes me time off? I love my job, but I love being home with my family listening to my children and crafting with and without them..hehehehe....What can I say I am giddy with the idea that today is FRIDAY!...

Sorry, got carried away there for a moment. It's just that this whole week has been one looooooooooooong week. I am very happy that I don't work tomorrow. All day yesterday it felt like it was Friday, so with the kiddies off of school today and my working I am so ready for it to be over.

So, with that out of the way I will get on with my card. I had a great time with this one. It is in fact my first pop-up card..It turned out a little rough, but I wanted to try one out. I took the sweet little Rockstar Anya and made her into a chief. I hope you enjoy her as much as I do. She is for a birthday card. I thought that it would be a good idea to get some made for when the kids need a card, like yesterday! You know how it is, "Mom,(in a panicked voice at 8:30pm) I need a card. WHAT A PRINCE!

Good morning everyone. I hope that you all had a great Wednesday and you are ready to head into the weekend. I know I am counting the hours between me and 5pm on Friday....lol.. It has been one of those weeks, but at least my headache is finally over for awhile. Yay! On a sad note, I am so sorry that they had to cancel the last couple of days of the CHA relay challenge. It was sooooo much fun. I would have to say that Prince Ian is probably my most favorite one. He is just so cute and a lot of fun to color. He just told what color his clothes were and I was able to hit the ground running. I don't know, maybe it was all of those romance novels I read when I was younger. Whatever the reason, I just picture Prince Ian on a horse riding up to both save and impress the fair maden...lol...Told you I read a lot of romance when I was young...lol.. Sorry about the glare on the front of the card. I took two pictures hoping to get a good one, but they both seem to have some. It is from the acetate overlay that I used. It really looks a lot better in person.

Good morning everyone. Thanks for all of your well wishes. Yes it is Monday once again. I am sitting here getting ready for work, printing off a couple pages of Charlotte from the Greeting farm and listening to the Mamma's and the Papa's singing Monday Monday....What better way to start your week? Good afternoon all. Yes, it is afternoon.....No, I have not gotten much done this weekend. However I have had a great time just being with my family, watching movies with the kids and playing games. It didn't get me as far as I would like to be with my cards, but I really needed the time with my family instead. So I am not complaining.

YOU'RE PERFECT...

Hi everyone. I hope that you all had a great Friday. It was so nice not to have to be anywhere today. I was able to get a ham in the oven for Jerry and then I sat down to get crafty....Well, of course I did not have any mojo....Grrrhhhhhrr....It always seems to go that way. I will either get a spark before work, or late at night before I should be getting to bed..Mine came tonight...lol..That's ok, I got to sit and watch the movie Rainy with a chance of meatballs with Mitchell and Maddie. It was a pretty good movie, but not one I think we need to have. This year I would have to say that UP was one of my favorite ones for kids. I swear Mitchell watched it at least five times the weekend that we had it.

I did get a few cards done tonight, but not nearly as many as I had anticipated. This is the card I made for the Anyone for Anya Black & White + 1 challenge this week. I will just get it in on time. I really wanted to try this one. You don't stop to think of how many colors you use until someone tells you that you are limited to just three. I had a lot of fun with it. Well, I am off to bed. IT'S THURSDAY!!!! YAY...

Hi guys. It's Thursday and for me that mean it's my Friday. I am so happy and soooo tired from this week that I can not wait for it to be 5pm. I know that I will be so pumped up by then that I will actually be able to get some stuff done....Yay! I am sorry though I don't even have a card to share with you today. Madison(who has been sick for 2 days) even colored in one of my new stamps and I didn't get the pictures taken like I told her I would. I do however have a couple of pictures of the wonderful flower that my friend Erin bought me for Christmas...It is just beautiful..Love you Erin, hope you are feeling better soon. IT'S WEDNESDAY Y'ALL!

Hi guys! It's Wednesday. Yay! I only have today and tomorrow and then I have 3 full days to craft, craft.....craft! Well, that's what I am planning anyway. We will see what really happens. lol..I really had to laugh yesterday when I was getting ready for work. On the news they were talking about Blue Monday. Evidently this last Monday(the day I was in a bad mood for no reason I could think of) is considered blue Monday. It has something to do with the 3rd Monday of January and the moon and sun....Go figure. I thought that was just too funny. I am happy to say though that yesterday was a much better day and not just because I received some of my order....lmbo...

That leads us to my card for today... I was coloring last night to relax and used the digi Pretty Head Lilly. I just love this digi and I finally decided to get her and Rachel...I think that their hair and their faces are just wonderful. So, I decided to make Meg a going away card. AREN'T YOU JUST THE...

Good morning everyone. I sure hope you all had a very good start to your week. Mine was really not that great. For some reason I was in a bad mood for most of the morning. I really could not explain why, but it just would not go away. At lunch I sat in my car and read my book just to have quiet time. It helped a little bit, but it was just one of those days...lol...Well about 30 minutes before I was getting off for the night one of my friends that has been doing this kind of job as long as I have comes out of the office and lets us all know that she has given her two weeks notice. I understand why, she has back problems and is going to work in an office where she will be able sit and use the phone most of the day....But, wow.....I am so going to miss her. We are both older than the other techs that work with us, and sometimes that really makes all of the difference....I did however get great news when I got home. My order is on the way and is scheduled to arrive Wednesday....Yay! So stupid.... :( :D....

Anyway getting on with why I have my blog(not to bore you with my work dramas or my kid like attitude over products)...Today's card was made for the Wild card Wednesday from Club Anya and Friends , but I didn't get it finished in time..That's ok though I really like trying something that I would not normally do. Think of that question in a singsong voice.....lol Yes, it is Monday once again. I don't really like Mondays that much. Let alone ones that follow my having worked the Saturday before them. Let alone ones that my kids and Jerry all have off.....Ggggrrrrr! I am not really in a bad mood, I am just grumpy....lol...I will get better. I really wish that it wasn't a day without mail though. I am waiting most impatiently for an order of Copics to come.

I went through my pictures, and this one just jumped out at me. It was taken late last summer and I just love it.

A HUNDRED HEARTS.....

Happy Sunday to everyone. I hope that your having a super weekend. Today is my day off!! Off from work, and off from any outside needs or plans. Yay! I am hoping to get some crafting in today. The only other thing that I have to do today is make some spaghetti sauce for dinner, but I do that this morning.. It is raining here in the desert, and they say it is suppose to continue for the next couple of days. I don't mind the rain, and I love hearing it on the roof. But, I want some sun! It does not have to have any worth, it does not have to last all day. It would just be nice if it could sneak around a cloud for maybe 20 minutes....lol....I know, we have no snow, no ice so what am I complaining for........

So, because of that I have come up with another Valentine's day card. I am trying to use new ideas that I have not tried before, and as you all know I love Amy Young's work. So I decided to use two of the new WS from the Greeting farm to make this card. They are both Amy's babies and I hope she will forgive me for cutting off Stella's head and putting it on Chelsea...I promise Amy no WS was hurt.. They were both kept very comfortable during the procedure...lol....
