Life is better...

Hi guys,
I hope that you all had a great weekend.  We had a full, but very fun weekend.  Madison and I babysat on Saturday and then we all went 'Midnight Bowling' with some friends of ours.  I swear I haven't done that since 1988 and even though I am soooo much better when I am bowling on  the WII, we all had a great time and can not wait until we go again.
So, before I get to my card I just wanted to let everyone know that Jerry has once again decided to try out a new company for our Internet and do to billing and timing I might not have any Internet for the whole week starting Wednesday.  booo hoooo.... lol,  you'd think I was the teenager. :O)
Ok, with my bad news out of the way let me get to my card for today.  Last week AmyY was giving away some of her Sweet November Stamps from this months new release and I was one of the very lucky winners. Yay for me!!!  I was fortunate enough to win this cutey and a bunch of goodies along with her.   This is  Mermaid Nalu and I think she is just adorable!  I have to wait until payday and then I am going to go over to 'All That Scraps' and pick up her two sisters as they are adorable as well and I don't want her to be missing them.  :O)   I am sure that you all know this anyway, but Amy always gives away some awesome candy as well as her stamps and so I such a great time using some of the papers and embellishments that she sent along as well.  In fact everything on this card was made from my winnings with the exception of the little seashells and the hemp.
Thanks again Amy, you are always so sweet and so generous with us all.  I had so much fun coloring her up and then using these papers.  I have not seen these before and I loved each and everyone of them.
Ok guys, it is getting late and I have work early, so I will bid you all a great week and hopefully catch up with you all soon.
Hugs, Lisa G

Awesome papers.   I just loved this little whale friend.  She was sweet enough to make my inside of my card sentiment for me.

I used some of the dp to paper piece her tail and then I used my Spicas to give it that
scale/fin look to it. I wish that the picture would show all the shiny as well as real life, but you get the idea.

Hi...

Hi guys, I hope you are all having a great week.
Once again I have missed my posting a card that I made for a challenge...  lol... Oh well, I was just having some fun on Wednesday night and decided that I wanted to color up WS-Charlotte Chic from TGF.  I think she is so cute and with her hair the way it is and those earrings I just could not let her go on just a simple modern day kind of card.  hehe... You'll see what I mean in a moment.
Anyway, my friend from work had just given me some papers that she had in her stash and I ran across these awesome 70's kind of papers.  We'll as you can see when I came across these papers and stickers along with Charlotte's hair I just couldn't help myself.
So, without more going on about her.... Here is my card with Charlotte.  I had some great little teardrop stickers that I also used as her earrings and I have to tell you I really loved how they worked for her.  I also  felt that being from the 70's fashion era she just had to have some eyeshadow on, so I pulled out my atYou Spicas and gave her a little hint of it.  :O)
Hope you all have a great day.
Hugs, Lisa G

I really don't like how she is just hanging here, but I thought what the heck put her on
my blog anyway as she is a very cute stamp.

Soft Kitty...

Hello again,
Well, we are almost halfway through this week and I am just praying that also means half way through this heat wave that we have going on right now.  We have one air conditioner (I feel very blessed to have it) and then we use fans in the bedrooms.  The problem is that with it getting into the  100's the last two days the bedrooms just don't ever cool down.  I have never had a problem getting to sleep, but I will tell you that  last night I was so HOT and even though it was after 1:00 am  it was still in the high 80's.  Needless to say I didn't even fall asleep until after 2:30 am .  :O)
So, with all the complaining  and what not I felt this would be the perfect post to show my 'Soft Kitty' card to you all.  :O)  Just after I finished up all the Wedding Invitations (which they absolutely LOVED!) I was in the mood to make a card, so I printed off this adorable little picture.  Sorry I don't know were on  the net I found it, but I loved it, and as it is from 'The Big Bang Theory' and we all love it, I just had to make a card out of it.
What you see it the sentiment and pictures cut out along with an embossing folder that I cut up and highlighted with some momento ink and then added a few little gems to look like stars from the beautiful night.  lol... It sounds weird and I will admit it is a funky little card, but I really just made it for fun and to give it to my Hubby as he is so good to me about all the crafty supplies that I just can't live without.
Thanks so much for stopping by.   I have put up a post on my Kidscreatetwo  blog and on the Pawpawrazzie as well.  Hope you have a moment to check those out.  Have a great day everyone and I will talk at you later.
Hugs, Lisa G

I just loved the little kittens on this and I really wish
I knew who drew this.  To whomever did I just wanted to let '
you know it is ADORABLE, and I am sorry that I don't remember where I found this at.
