GO CHIEFS!

Good morning everyone. Don't you just love Fall? The crisp mornings followed by the nice afternoons. I love the sound of the returning geese as they fly to and from the wheat fields. I love the colors that God displays during the Fall. I love the Sunday football games that my husband and I sit and watch together with a good cup of coffee. I also love the Cheer leading camp that our daughter goes to every year followed by the big game after a full week of practice. To celebrate kick all of this off (pun intended,lol..) I used my Cheer Anya stamp and made our daughter a card. I used Bazzil CS in both burgundy and gold, along with ribbon and buttons to match. I drew a megaphone and used pop dots to bring it off the card. I kept the inside of my card rather simple as I am not sure what I want to say just yet. It is her last year at camp and I want to give it to her the night of the game. so I was thinking that I will wait until then to write in it. The Copics I used were:
Skin-E50-YR00
Hair-E27-E34-E99
Skirt & Pompoms-R37-R39-YR21-YR24
Misc-N1

LATE DAY(EVENING) POST.....

Hi everyone. I hope you had a great Monday. Ours was very busy as always. I am sorry I ran out of time this morning to post on my blog. I worked on cards this weekend and even took the pictures. The problem came when I went to add them this morning and discovered that I had not downloaded them yet......lol...What can you do? I thought that I would share a silly picture of our Lucy this evening. She is such a funny cat and we are not sure what animal she thinks she is.....lol. She has an obsession for boxes, and she was playing with my husband yesterday when she jumped into her favorite box. I love the way her eyes are in this picture. I just had to get it on film. Have a great evening and I hope to have a new post for you in the A.M...... Lisa G

IT'S FRIDAY* THE MOST WONDERFUL DAY OF THE WEEK!!!

Hi everyone. Can you tell that I am happy to get to the end of this week? Just a little bit..lol.... I have to work today, but I get this weekend off so I am Happy! It has been a very busy week and I am still fighting this silly cold. I think that a thank you card is in order today as I am so thankful that it is Friday. My stamp is from The Greeting Farm-Forest Friends. (isn't he just the cutest deer you've ever seen?) My ribbon is from Wal-mart, and my cs is from PTI-mellow moss. I used my new Cuttlebug and embossing folder-stylized flowers for the bottom half. I then used my Cricut and my mini gel pens, along with my Jasmine cartridge to write out my Thanks so much with the butterfly. I am so sorry, I can't find my list of the Copics that I used to color my deer. On the inside I kept it simple so I could tailor it to whomever I send it to. I hope you like it, and thanks so much to everyone that is leaving comments. I just love to read them and to check out everyone else's blogs...lol....Have a great Friday, Lisa G

LATE EVENING INSANITY.

Hi everyone. Well I have been trying to decide for quite sometime now if I was going to try to make a Sprout for the Design My Sprout contest. I made a couple and my 11 year old made a couple and pretty much have let them just sit. Well tonight I got to thinking that you can't win the lottery if you don't play ( I never play). So, YES you guessed it I finally decided to just put them in. They are not in dark outline and they are not even colored. However I actually did it and I put them in and I even let me daughter put one of hers there also. I want her to learn to try for everything that she wants.....Lead by example right?/ I am trying...lol. Well here are the pictures for you to see. Yes they are very raw, but fun anyway. Hope you have a great evening, Lisa G.
They are K.D. the Kid,Rosalee the flapper and Cleo (made by my daugher)

FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS

Hi guys. I hope that you all had a great day. I decided that I would try to put my post up this evening as this week the mornings are a little too busy for me. I love the chance to finally do things for my kids at their school, but it sure does change up our schedule in the mornings...lol.. Can't have everything all the time can you? Of course that does not allow for computer glitches either...I still don't know where my pictures went, but I am determined to get this together. I made this card with my new Hope and Grace stamp from The Greeting Farm. She is HG-Snuggle and I think she is just sooo cute.. I think I made this one more for me than anyone else. I used the "Follow your Dreams" rub-ons from daisyd"s t o remind myself that doing this is a dream of mine and that no matter what I should keep at it. So I hope you like it. It is pretty simple, but I like simple sometimes...lol. Now down to the paper...I used PTI-raspberry fizz along with Gina K's pure luxury. The Copics used are: R81-RV11-YR00-N1-N4-G20-E50-E51-E31-E57-E33-E35-YR24-110-0 I forgot to mention that I used glossy accents for the Bunnie's eyes to make it look more like buttons. I also used my star dust stickles(my favorite).
Ok, here goes. I hope you enjoy her and her little bunny. Thanks for all the nice comments. I just love to read them, Lisa G

PHOTO TEST.....

Hi everyone, this is an extra post\test. I am not sure what is going on with my photos lately. I load them just like I always have, but they don't post in the order that I want. So here is a card that I made for my baby brother's 36th Birthday. I took the pictures and then I mailed it to him, and totally forgot to post it. Let me warn you though this is a card that has absolutely no Copics used on it!!! I know your in shock...lol OK now down to it, I used PTI- spring moss & ripe avocado. Ribbon-brads & title from scrapworks. I made it simple and with the metal looking title I felt that it would work better for a man. I hope you like it, and remember to leave me a comment. They are so fun to read. Have a great evening, Lisa G

BOYS WILL BE BOYS!

Good mornng everyone. Today I have decided to post a boy card. Last week when I was picking some stamps to purchase my son pointed out that I did not have any boy stamps. So he helped me pick one and that turned out to be Skater Ian from the GREETING farm. I think he is so cute. I can't wait to get more...lol...Like I need an excuse to buy more things...Ok down to business..The card stock used are from PTI-ocean tides and SU-close to cocoa & night of navy. The SU supplies that I use are from Traci Kontra and you can locate her blog from my side bar (some of my favorite places). Have a great day, Lisa G

FALL COLORS...

Good morning everyone. Don't you just love fall colors? Even though I love summer and swimming I do love the fall. I love to hear the geese as they fly to and from the fields. I love when it is sunny and you see all the true colors that nature has to offer. With that being said I thought that I would make a card using some of the stamps from All that Scraps CC Design Autumn stamp kit. I just love this set and all of the fall related things in it. It makes you want to wrap up and watch a good football game with a hot cup of coffee...lol. I used PTI- summer sunrise-ripe avocado & plum pudding for my card stock along with some silk leaves and pretty printed ribbon both from the dollar tree. Copics used: E50-E51-Y21-G20-G21-V12-V15-YR04-YR07-R20-R35-R37-N4-110 & 0. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day, Lisa G

COFFEE, GIVE ME COFFEE!

Good morning everyone, I had such an interesting day yesterday that it really flew by. I just hate that. Well I thought that I would share with you one of my new Kiki La Rue stamps. She is Coffee Kiki La Rue and I thought that she should be a little concerned that it is already Monday....lol.. What can I say I really don't like one day weekends... So you know what stamp I used and I got her from All that Scraps-CC Designs. The pp is Berry Sweet from K&Company. CS is PTI-Summer sunrise Su-Galbe green. Last but not at all least are Copics used: E15-E25-E27-E34-E50-E51-G20-G21-RV04-RV10-Y00-YR00-YR15-N1-0. I hope you get as much of a smile out of her as I have. I am not sure why, but all of a sudden my picture that I want first is coming up last. Sorry about that I will try to get to this problem by tomorrow. Have a great Monday and I'll talk at you tomorrow, Lisa G

LET THEM EAT THEIR..CAKE

Good morning everyone, I thought that I would get my latest card up today as I did not get a chance to do one of Friday. Let me first apologize to the artist that made this cutie, I do not know who drew him nor where he came from. My friend gave me a sheet of card stock (CC Designs) that had a bunch of digital designs on it. She is not into stamping, but wanted to give me more options to play with. I decided to try AMYR's Friday Sketch again, so this card is what I came up with. If you don't know Amy go check her out at http://prairiepaperandinke.typepad.com/ . She is just great and her blog is one of my favorites.... Ok down to business, my CS used is from PTI and they are spring rain-lemon tart & dark chocolate. PP is from Frances Meyer Inc by Lucy Rigg (old paper from my stash). Copics are N1-E31-E34-E39-E50-Y00-B21-B24-R81-RV11-RV34 & 0. I used Star Dust Stickles for the sprinkles on the cupcake. Thanks again goes to Amy for the great video on how to color around images. Hope you like my simple card. I wanted a birthday card that could be for a boy or a girl. Have a great Sunday everyone, Lisa G

BUSY FRIDAY.....

Hi everyone,

I was so disappointed yesterday. I so wanted to have something to post, but I was running late in the morning and I am trying to get my son's cold...so I just did not have the time or the strength to do it. So sorry...I am hoping to feel good enough when I get home from work today to get time to create so that I have new and exciting things to share with you. In the mean time here is a picture of my daughter's doll. She loves to dress her up and take pictures of her like she is a fashion model. Have a great weekend and I'll talk at you later, Lisa G Sorry, do you like my new layout on my blog? I am learning how to get it to look more like me and not just a generic template...lol

BOO

Good morning everyone. I hope your week is going good. I don't have many stamps, so my topics on my cards at this point are a bit limited. I do have some new stamps coming so I can't wait to get creative. In the mean time I wanted to use a few of the stamps from (All that scraps) that I bought about a month ago that they are just now doing a big release on. They are all from the Sugarplums Autumn stamp kit. My cs is all from Su and I used: only orange-ballet blue-gable green & basic black. My copics are E50-E51-C3-N1-G20-Y21-YR04-YR07 & B32. Well I am running a bit behind today, so have a great day. Lisa G
