LIMITED SPACE SNEAKY STORAGE...

Hi guys.
If you are looking for the Tickled Pink Blog Hop Post please see the previous post... This is just a quick one for a little inspiration on how I store some of my supplies in my crafting space. You see my craft (room) is actually the far corner of our living room. My DH bought me an L shaped desk last Spring and I have that butted up to the corner wall. Don't get me wrong, I love my craft table and I love that I can be in the living room with my family and still get my crafting done. heehee
However because I basically have a table with storage one the top of part of it and tons of storage boxes at my feet I have had to come up with crafty (pun intended) ways of storing some of the things that I use or just want at my fingertips. So, with that being said let me show you all my little secret of how I store my glitter (that I have yet to use) and made a home made photo tent/box to take my pictures with. I also want to share with you how I store my Stickles. I used to have them in a drawer to my left, but they were always falling down and I didn't like that they were standing up. I always had to get out a pin before I could use them. Now I just have to grab which one I want. The vase is slim enough that it just sit beside my computer screen out of the way until I need it.
Thank you for letting me share this little bit of me. I hope you all had a great Halloween and enjoyed the Tickled Pink Birthday Blog Hop... If you haven't finished it yet you can see my card in the post below. I will talk at you tomorrow. Until then have a great night.
Hugs, Lisa G

Welcome to the Tickled Pink Stamps Birthday Blog Hop,

There is a major prize at the wind down of the party, by hopping along you have a chance to win EVERY stamp releases during the month of October, that is over 15 stamps, including all the images and sentiments from the first release. If they come in rubber and you want rubber over digi, then you can have rubber. If they only came out in digi then digi it is, it's all up to you and your liking. AND want to know something else? There are hidden candies hiding in within the hop.
If you have come from Cathrine's then your on the right party line.
I am very excited to be a part of this fun hop, so I decided that in the spirit of all the Birthday Celebration I would color up the beautiful Kellita Birthday stamp. I love to color her face so I enlarged her so that you could really enjoy her beauty. She is dressed up in her party clothes and ready to have fun.
Now your next party stop is Patricia...

JUST CHECKING IN...

Good morning all. I am so sorry that I haven't been able to post this week. It is my second week of over 40 hours and I am so tired my eyes hurt! I did just want to check in with you and share a little something that I colored last week. This card is one that I made because I found this awesome free digi stamp at Sassy Studios and once I colored her I just could not leave her. I love her face, it was so fun to color. I am not so happy with her hair though. I was trying out a new color combo and I am not that thrilled with it. I also did not notice till this morning that my colors in my pictures are not very true, but you get the idea. :O) As you can see this poor card (without a name) doesn't even have an inside yet. (GASP!) I know, that is how tired I am. Ok, I have to hit it. Thanks for stopping by. Wish me luck at getting some crafting in this weekend. heehee
Have a great day.

THIS GIFT'S FOR YOU !

Hi guys.
Sorry I didn't get anything posted yesterday. I found out that I had more energy in me the week before I worked 46 hours than I have so far this week. heehee :O( I hope you will be patient with me this week. I am not sure just how much I am going to get done. I am scheduled another 45 hours this week and I just don't have the energy for much more that a little blog surfing and sleep.
I will however make time for THE ROCKY HORROR glee SHOW tonight. lol... I can't believe it is finally tonight! Yay! We all spent the weekend listening and sing to the sound track from it. Thank you so much Amy for sharing that it was out in the stores. We are all grateful to you... heehee! What can I say I have a house full of GLeeks. I think even Lucy is a GLeek. I should be off by 5pm and I am so coming home and plan on dinner then GLee then bed. So, in advance let me say I am so sorry if I don't get my card posted tomorrow. I will try my hardest.
I did get a chance on Saturday to make this sweet card that turned into a Christmas card. I had run down to the only somewhat of a craft store we have here in town and she had new WeR Memory Keepers paper for Christmas. What can I say I just could not resist it. So little WS-Ruby by Amy Young decided that she was in a Christmas kind of mood and volunteered to be a part of this one.
Well, I sure hope you all had a great Monday and have an even better Tuesday. I guess I had better get myself going so that I can get done and come home. Have a great day!
Talk at you later...

THE ABC'S OF MY STORAGE...

Hi guys. Yay! It is finally Saturday... I am still posting this from last week because I don't think I would have the energy to post something at this point. I wanted to share this with you because I really liked how well it worked for me last weekend when I was on my marathon of card making. lol....Anyway, getting back to it.
About two years ago when I was spending most of my free time over at my BFF's scrapbook store I was very much into scrapbooking and never thought a thing about card making. So, anyway I came across the Craft Mates over at our local Walmart and decided then that it would make a perfect place to store all of my little tiny alphabets that I used to have stored on my wall in a tool rack. You know the one I am talking about. It's red and has about 30 compartments that fall all over if you mess with it. Yes, that's the one.
Anyway, I put this together over two years ago and low and behold I used it this last weekend. It worked so well so that I could find the exact letters that I needed in order to make my "Like BOO" card. It was just so easy.
Well guys, have a great weekend. I know that I am going to. Talk at you Monday.
Hugs, Lisa G

TIME TO FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS...

It's Friday! Hopefully by now I am hitting my second wind and today will be a great and quick day at work. heehee...
Oh, hi guys! I hope that you are having a wonderful start to your Friday. I don't know that I have much to talk about this morning as I am writing this last Saturday. Confused yet? Well if you have been here all week you know what I am rambling about. It not, see my post from Oct. 18th and you will be all caught up. :O) Sorry, busy week and too tired now to start at the beginning.
Now, as for my card today I just was having fun with WS Sassy Suzi. She is so darn cute and I was really missing my TGF stamps. I also thought that she would be perfect for the FFF sketch over at TGF blog this week. You can check it out here. Suzi is all ready to hit the playground in her long warm sweater. She can always pull the very fuzzy and very warm collar up under her chin and she is ready to go. heehee....
Well, before I go for today I want to invite you all to come back tomorrow. I have a post that I wanted to share showing how I have been storing my alphabets that I have had since Making Memories started selling the little metal ones in circles and squares and whatnot. heehee
I will quit rambling and bid you all a very good day. Hope to talk at you tomorrow.
Hugs, Lisa G

JUST FOR YOU...

Good morning everyone.
I have to start off this post by saying/ singing...HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR ANDREA! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! In case you have not guessed, today is my youngest Niece Andi's Birthday. She is 6 years old today. Andi is a ball of fire and just loves to stand on Mitchell's back when they come to town.
Ok, because we are talking about Andrea's birthday I thought that I would show you the card that I made for her. Andie should already have her card, so I don't think she will mind sharing it with you. I of course had to use Cupcake Anya for this one. Anya had to change her clothes of course. After all you can not go to a party in October in your sleeveless dress and short leggings. So, I went ahead and added some sleeves and put her in a super cute pair of long leggings. I also had to send Andrea a rose on this card too. I also decided that because I was using one of C.C. Design's AmyR's sentiment stamps that I would make Andrea's Birthday card my second card for Amy's ATG givaway. You can check it all out here.
Ok, I am gonna hit the road for another day at work. I hope that you are all having a super week. Andrea, we hope that you have a wonderful Birthday and we love you very much. Talk at you tomorrow.

LIKE BOO...

Hi guys.
I hope that your week is going good. By now we should be halfway through this week and I for one know without doubt that is a good thing. It's hump day and I am super happy about that! Has anyone watched the movie How to train your Dragon? I forgot to tell you that we bought the kids that movie last Friday and had a really great time Friday night watching it together. OMWord, it is soooo cute and the Night Dragon (Toothless) looks like our cat Lucy when she has her ears back trying to listen to the kids in one room and Jerry and I in another. It is just hilarious! So, if you haven't seen it... What are you waiting for? You don't have to have little ones to enjoy it either. heehee
Ok, getting to today's card. This card I made for the CA&F sketch #39. I really had such a wonderful time with this one. I got to thinking that I really had not used my Greeting Farm stamps too much lately and I just had to grab CC Wednesday and make a Halloween card with her. She just has such an attitude about her that I can't help but chuckle. I hope you enjoy her as much as I do.
Have a super day all. Talk at you later.

MAKE A WISH!

Hi guys. It is Tuesday and I should be super excited. Why you dare ask? Well, it should be GLee of course! What's that you ask, "Why are you not excited?" Well if you are a GLeek and I will for the sake of argument assume that you are. You already know that no GLee tonight. That's ok, because next week is suppose to be the big Halloween show! Rocky Horror Picture Show that is! I have never been a super fan of the Picture show, but come on it's GLee and Mr. Shue is going to get his shirt ripped open! heehee What can I say I just really enjoy that boy's voice. heehee
Ok, as I am not really talking to you this morning I will get right to it. Todays card I made for the Lil Lolita Boutique Challenge #19. All you have to do is use Skulls on your card... Well, I just had to play along with this one. I have the set from the Birthday celebration and it has so many cute skulls that you just got to love it. I also had to use Willow with her flowers as she really does look like she can rock a few skull decorations what with her wonderfully long eye lashes. heehee
Have a great day guys. I can't wait to get some free time and check out every one's hard work this week. Until then... Talk at you later.

HI...

Hi guys. Can you believe that it is Monday once again? I can not believe how fast this month has gone by. WOW, just a little over two months and we'll be looking right at Christmas. Ok ok, I have freaked myself out enough for one day. I won't continue down that road. heehee...
I have some news today that I need to share. Due to some issues at work this week I will be working from 8am to 6pm every day this week. Needless to say, I am sure that I will not have much spare time for much more than sleeping. So, due to this I have made all of my cards this past weekend and I am going to be scheduling them all. Please forgive me for pretty much only posting all of my supplies and not much more. I hate not having a voice for each of my posts, but I really do not see me be able to post each morning. I hope that you all have a super great week and I will so try to get to your blogs as always. Please keep me in your thoughts so that I will have the stamina to work that many hours in a row. I am not as young as I used to be and I always try to be a full time Mom when I am not at work, so I am sure that I am going to be exhausted. Thanks in advance for all of your friendships. I really do appreciate each and everyone of you.
Now, on to the fun stuff...
This is the first card that I have used my new Die-namics die. It is called rolled rose, and I love it! As you can see it is a black rose, so I took my main picture from the side in the hopes that you can see it better. I just have to thank the wonderfully talented Cindy for sharing her rose and where she bought it from so that I main get my own. Did I mention that I love it?! :O)
Ok guys, have a great week. I hope to talk at you soon.

IT'S A BOY!

Good morning guys. I hope that your Friday is off to a good start. I had today off, but due to some issues at work I will be working half the day. That's ok however, I will still be off in time to pick up my babies from school. I just love being able to pick them up instead of them having to ride the bus.
Well, I will get right to it. My card today is a simple one that I made for when my Nephew's baby was born, but I misplaced it and never did get it to them. :O( I really get frustrated with myself when I do things like that. lol... I also have to admit that because I misplaced my card I also misplaced the info on where I found this design on the Internet. I am very sorry to the wonderfully talented lady that made the video. I am not too sure that I was able to get the pictures to show it, but when you open the card the duck slides to the side to show the word Congrats! You can't tell from the pictures, but the inside does show all of the way. I just could not take my pictures and hold it open enough. Believe it or not, I only used two little stamps on this one and three Copic markers.. Alrighty then, I will talk at you later. Have a super Friday.

THE DAILY MARKER BLOG CANDY...

Hi guys.
Sorry but today's post is more of a share of info than a creative one on my part. I just did not have the chance to make anything creative yesterday. However, I thought that you seriously needed to see these beautiful cards that Kathy from the Daily Marker has made using Penny Black stamps. OMWord! They are so simply, but so so so beautiful at the same time. Please be sure to head over to her blog and check out her awesome cards. Kathy is also giving away some wonderful blog candy here. Check it out. I just know you're going to love it all. :O) I hope to get a card worked on after work today. Have an awesome day, and I will talk at you tomorrow.
Hugs, Lisa G

WHAT'S THE WORD BIRD?

Hi guys. Wow, it is already Wednesday. I just have to admit that it has been one heck of a week so far. heehee It is going to be a super busy day at work and I am heading in earlier that originally planned, so this is going to be really short this morning.
First off let me say again a huge Thank you to my wonderful friend. She has moved to the big city (Spokane) and is working and going to college there. I miss her so much, but what can you do you just have to let them fly. heehee Anyway last week I received a wonderful package (that I had not purchased) in the mail and it was a present from my friend Erin. She sent me a huge bag of coffee beans from Starbucks and not one, but two awesome sets of stamps. I of course let her know that she should not be spending her money on me, but that it was super sweet of her. So again Erin THANK YOU, I love them all. I made this card up right away, but like I mentioned yesterday it has been postponed like the others so that I could meet a few deadlines. You will also notice that I used some more of the awesome dp from Cosmo Cricket- wanted is the pad name. I know I said it before, but it is worth saying again "I Love this paper pack!"
Well, I am out of here. Talk at you tomorrow.
