It feels so good to be making a few cards once again. Even though I really haven't made too many that required me to color I still had a lot of fun coming up with different ways of making cards that didn't use my Copics or too many stamps.
I do however really want to thank everyone for hanging in there with me until my life gets back on track.. I can't even begin to express how much it meant for me to come home yesterday to all of your sweet comments on my rather simple card. So "Thank You from the bottom of my heart!"
I am running behind and need to get a move on, so I will get right to it. Today's card came about from a new set of Spellbinder dies that Jerry purchased for me. I wanted to make a card with them and didn't want to wait until I was able to color up a cute stamp, so I figured why not just cut out some different papers from the same paper pad and see what they came out looking like on a card. Well, as you can see, not too bad. lol...
Ok guys, now I really have to boogy. Sorry for the short blog post, but my hands are really not letting me do too much extra and it takes so much to work on my laptop with these braces on.
I hope you all have a wonderful day and I will talk at you tomorrow.
Hugs, Lisa G

I'm trying not to use my Copics so much too, but it is hard! This is so gorgeous honey - love the mix of colours and use of the circles like that!
I think if I did a card without my copics I would go into a spasm or something haha! This is adorable though, and those are some really pretty Spellbinders, go Jerry!
This looks so cool, Lisa! Love the papers you've used and the sentiment couldn't be more perfect!
Even though the extra money is nice, I hope your work gets back to normal soon so you'll have it a bit easier!
Take care!
This is wonderful Lisa, love the dies and the sentiment...it all works perfectly together!
