Before and After....

Yes, this was how it really looked.

You can see it didn't leave much room for creating.

After a lot of purging..

and hard work...

Finally finished, and I love how I can see my scor pal once again.. Needed that Diet Coke. :O)

I was able to find  these cute little bins at the  Rite-aid to keep my Dew Drop inks and daubers in.  I just love how I can see them now.  The best part is that they only cost me $3.00....

Good Morning to you all.
I just wanted to share a couple pictures of how my desk looked Tuesday morning and then how it looked Tuesday evening after I just could NOT stand it any longer... I even made my card for my Friday post and then put everything back in it's place before I headed to bed.  lol...I am trying to be a good girl and not leave my desk so bad that I just can't stand to be creative.
After I was done cleaning up I just sat here looking at just how nice it all looked.  I had bought a new label maker last week and I finally decided it was time to put it to good use.  Wow, I really really love how much it has helped me to get things out and not spend so much time looking for my products. lol...
Well I just wanted to share a little.  I hope you all have a great Weekend.  I am off to the store first thing in the morning to get me a copy of Breaking Dawn Part 1.  My 12 year old niece was sweet enough to let me know exactly which part the moving ends off at.  Now, I really really want to see it.  I have read all the books at least three times, and I am ready to see the movie.  We never didn't  get the chance to go and see it at the theater, so I am super super excited for this afternoon.

You'll always have a Friend in Me...

Good morning everyone.
I hope that you have all had a great week.  I am sorry that I missed Wednesday's Retro-Fresh challenge over on the Farm Fresh Challenge blog.  Boy did everyone make some awesome projects and cards.  I can not wait to see what you all make for this one.
However I am finally able to blog again, so I really wanted to get my card made for today's Friday Spy Day over on the Farm Fresh Challenge Blog. Today we have Spied Jamie's card!

Great Job Jamie!

When I first got a look at Jamie's card I just knew what I wanted to do for mine.  Jerry and I have a friend that we've both known for a long time and she is having a bit of a health scare at the moment, so I wanted to send her a little card to let her know that we are thinking of her.  I pulled out the ever wonderful Fleur Anya and gave her a dress to go with some of the papers that I wanted to use.  I was also able for the Very First Time Ever heat emboss my greeting on the front of my card.  Thanks so much Amy for the ink and the tutorial on practicing.  It finally worked.  lol.... :O)    I am super pleased with how my card turned out and I so hope it brings a smile to our friend.
So before I go for the day I just have to share you. When I got home from work yesterday afternoon I had a package on my front porch from Ellen Hutson LLC, and the reason I mention this is because she is having some great sales going on right now and the fact that every time I order from her I always get my goodies within two days.  I am telling you.  I order these things late Tuesday night and here it was  Thursday afternoon and my stuff is already here.  Yay!  Thanks so much Ellen.  You are such a sweetheart and I love the ribbon that you send along as a special 'Thank You'  also,  I just love doing business with you.  One of the things that I purchased was the 6x6 Prima pad 'Londonerry' it was on sale so I thought why not, I like the colors.  Well, when I checked out the papers I just thought they were so adorable I knew right away that I was going to use them for my card today.  lol... Sometimes you just know.
Ok guys, be sure to head on over to the Farm Fresh Challenge Blog and check out all the beautiful cards the girls have made.  Then be sure to make one up and play along for your chance to win a Greeting Farm Stamp.
I hope you all have a great Friday and I will talk at you tomorrow as I have some pictures to share of my overwhelming pig Ste of a desk and the way I was able to get it under control...lol..Yes, I am going to be showing the really bad stuff people.  lmbo..
Hugs, Lisa G

Monday Fun Day....

Good morning everyone.
Don't you think that there should be a catch phrase for Mondays just like the Wednesday and Friday has?  I mean come on Wednesday is often called 'Hump Day'  Fridays has 'TGIF' and boy don't we all love that one.... Well I got to thinking about this just about the sixth time I tried to load my pictures for today's post.  I kept thinking, Monday should be 'I can't believe it's already Monday!'... Sorry, I was just getting so mad that my printer and computer had decided once again that they didn't want to play together.  The really stupid part of the whole thing is that on Saturday Jerry and I went to town to buy some printer ink.  While we were there Jerry wanted to buy me a Canon Printer as they say they have 'cheaper inks' and print very good pictures.   Well the style we were looking at was a great price, but the inks (there were 4 cartridges all together) ranged from $11.95 for the black up to $13.95 for each additional color cartridge.  I just could not see spending the money on the printer and the ink....Of course Jerry had to point out that I end up swearing at my printer 9 times out of 10 when it won't just load my pictures.  lol....  I am sure you can all guess that I didn't tell him that indeed it would not load then tonight.  So because of that I am now typing on my laptop and I hope that my pictures turn out good as I haven't cropped or adjusted the lighting on them from this computer,
Ok,  I have rambled on long enough so I had best get to my card for today.  As you probably already know we are having a great Monday Fun Day over on the FFF Challenge blog this week.  All you have to do is add some stitches on your card or project to play along.  Those stitches can be sewn, written on or you may use a sticker or rub-on,  It's all up to you.
I have a friend that has tickets to go see Tim McGraw in concert this summer in  Nashville.  I decided that I wanted to  use little Travel Anya and some of the 'Wonder' paper pad to make her a going away card.  I am sure she is going to love it.  I wanted it to be a travel card as this paper pad has maps, signs and all kinds of plains, trains and auto mobiles.  Perfect for what I had in mind.  As you can see when I pulled out Travel Anya she wanted to get her hair done a little differently so it would look like she was ready to have some fun. I got to looking at all the cute hairstyles and asked Simply Anya if we could use her hair style and copy her adorable opened eyes.  I have to admit that I am really happy with how Anya turned out and I think she is going to love seeing Tim McGraw while she is on her travels.  lol
Ok guys, I hope you all have a great Monday.  If you get a chance be sure to head over to The Greeting Farms Farm Fresh Challenge blog and check out all the fun cards the DT has made with their stitching.  I ended up writing in my stitches as I didn't have the time to pull out my sewing machine.
Ok, I am out of here.   I work tomorrow and then I have Tuesday off as the Cats have Dr's appointments and I have a few other errands that I need to take care of.  Talk at you all later.
Hugs,  Lisa G

Paw-Paw-razzi Sundays...

No More pictures Please!
Not again....

Sunday being inside when she should be 'OUTSIDE'..

Good morning everyone.
I hope that you are all having a great weekend so far.  Are you ready for the big game?    Jerry will be watching and flipping through channels. I am not really that much of a football fan,  so I will be watching 'The Help' on my computer while getting a little crafting in.  :O)   I will however be watching the halftime show and all the cute commercials that they come out with for the game.   lol   I have to admit that is usually my favorite part of Super Bowl Sunday.  lol....
Well let me get to it, so that you all can either get crafty or enjoy the BIG GAME....  As you can see I have come up with a title for all the pictures that I post of  our three cats.  I was taking a picture of Boo yet again when Jerry told Boo (who was sleeping) to keep her eyes closed as the Paparazzi was at it again.  I turned to him and informed him that it would be the Paw-Paw-razzi in this case.  We both started laughing (you can see how weird we are, but we get each other. lmbo) and at the same time decided that would be perfect for my Sunday posts of what our crazy cats are doing.  So, without further ado, let me welcome you all to the first of many Paw-Paw-razzi Sundays.  :O)

I hope that you all have a great day.  Talk at you later tomorrow.

love is in the air...

inside of card.

 TGIF!!!
Good morning all my blogging friends.   I hope that you are all having a great week.  I for one can not wait to see all the videos and new products that are going to come out of CHA this year.  lol...
Most of all I can not wait to see what Marie and Jessica are cooking up over on the Greeting Farm.  lol...
So while I am waiting. lol... I grabbed Anya here and made a really fun card for my friend to give to her Granddaughter for Valentine's Day.   :O)  As I needed to make a card for both my friend and for our Friday Spy Day over on the Farm Fresh Challenge blog I decided to combine the two.
Jas' Card!!!
For this week's Spy Day we have come across Jas' card to case!!  Isn't this just the cutest card?  I had so much fun casing it.   I love how Jas has used the doily and the Spellbinder together.  When I went to make my card I could not find a doily anywhere.  Gggrrrr.....  So, I decided to improvise.  I pulled out two different sets of my circle Spellbinders and alternated between the two designs.  I then inked every other one to give it a little depth without having it take over the whole card.   Next I   decided that if Jas was going to use such a wonderful flower on her card that I should at least pull out my rolled roses Die-namics dies and put them to use.  lol... I wanted just a touch of ribbon around my flowers, so I added it in kind of like a bouquet of roses.
I have to confess that I am really tickled and pleased with how my card came out and with the fact that I didn't mess up my flowers too bad. lol..
I hope that you can all join us this week over on the FFF Challenge Blog.  Be sure to leave Jas some love if you haven't already. Then be sure to  check out the rest of the DT ladies cards here..  So until Sunday when I have a new idea that I want to share with you all .....  I will talk at you later.
Hugs, Lisa G

You Are Special!

Hi guys.
Well it is finally Thursday and the M&M's made it to school yesterday without any more problems on the health front.  lol...  They were both very relieved to be back.  They had been worried that they would be terribly behind, and it wasn't too bad, so we are all happy.  :O)
I woke up yesterday with a really bad headache, but as I had taken Monday off to help with my sickies I headed to work anyway.  It came and went most of the day and by the time I got home it was down to a mild roar.  This was fine by me as I really wanted to color a little.  I have to say my headache went away and I managed to make my BFF here in town (that I am going to go see after work today) a card.  It seems like it has been forever since we have had more than 5 'hurried' minutes to talk, so I am very very happy to be heading over to her house once I pick up the M&Ms from school. (They are coming with me as she has kids their ages that they are also friends with.)  I can't wait.
So,  I thought that I would share my card with you all.  It started out to be my style and then I just went with where it took me.  It really isn't my usual, but  I have to say I had a so much fun just letting my imagination take me where it wanted and I like how it turned out.  Unfortunately, I noticed that in the pictures it looks a lot darker than it really is.  I think my camera is starting to wear out.  lol...
While I was working on this card I wanted it to look like Freaky Flutter was looking out her open window (kind of like Cinderella) and holding a friendly butterfly that had decided to visit her. I got it into my head that if I used dimentionals only on the top half of her head and on her hands it would look more like an open window...  I tried to take a picture so you could see what I was talking about, but I'm not sure you can really see it that well.  I promise, in person it truly looks like she is leaning on the window frame and enjoying that wonderful sunshine with her friendly butterfly friend.  lol
Alright guys that's it for me this morning.  I had better get the M&Ms up and going so we can head to work and school.  I hope you all have a wonderful Thursday.  Talk at you later.
Hugs, Lisa G
