HAPPY FATHER'S DAY....

We had run a rub full of water to test out our new thermometer for the pool and Lucy was busy laying on the side of the tub watching.  She loves water and has no problem with it.  Jerry just had to dump water on her back.  She let him and when I saw how wet she was I had to cuddle her and dry her off.  Poor baby I think she let him just so she could snuggle. lol...

Anytime the kids have their backpacks out for school Lucy just has to crawl
in them.  This was taken the last day of school before they left.

Good morning everyone.
I have to start off today by wishing all those wonderful Fathers, Husbands, Brothers and Uncles Happy Father's Day!  I am not going to be showing my Father's Day cards as both my Dad and my DH read my blog so I can't spill the beans.  I guess I will just have to make a post about them later on this coming week.
Well as you all know by now,  not only is it today Father's Day but it is Sunday  and that means Sundays with Lucy and my Mother called my yesterday to let me know that there had better be a Lucy post today.    So,  being the wonderful daughter that I have always been.  lol...Here you are Mom!
I hope you all have a Happy Father's Day  and I will talk at you tomorrow.

YOU TWINKLE MORE THAN STARS...

Good morning everyone.
I want to start this out by thanking you all for being so sweet this week when I really didn't get much accomplished.   I am so happy to say that it is finally Friday and the kids just have a three short hours and then they are off for the SUMMER!   Yay!
Ok, let me get to it.  Can you believe that I was actually able to get a  card made?  I have to say that it was sooooo therapeutic for me.  I don't think I have enjoyed making a simple card like this in quite some time.  lol...  I really really enjoyed it.   I always love making my cards,  but I have felt like a card-oholic that hasn't been able to get their fix for about two weeks now.   lol..
I hope that you all have a wonderful Friday and that your weekend it sunny and bright.  I have this weekend off and I for one intend to enjoy every minute of it with my family and with of course a lot of card making added in.   Talk at you tomorrow.
Hugs,  Lisa G

WHEN DOES SATURDAY GET HERE?

Hi guys.
I am so sorry for being missing in action this week.  It is the very last week of school as I said, and between the M&Ms and work I am so ready for it to be Saturday.   Oh I can not wait to get just  5 minutes to sit at my desk and make cards.  lol...
So, this is a little card I made the other day from a stamped image that I think I colored up about two weeks ago.  I am sorry, but I didn't think I was going to use her so I didn't write down the Copics I used.  :O(   Anyway I just wanted to share a little something with you all today.  I am hoping to get the chance to play tomorrow after I get off work.  Wish me Luck!
Have an awesome day and I will hopefully get back to commenting on all of your wonderful blogs really soon.

I ALMOST FORGOT JUNE...

Good morning everyone.
I am going to make this a quick one again as the kids are still in school and they have last minute projects that need to get there early and they have to be back at school by 5:30pm to sing during the 8th Grade Graduation.  I do think that is really cool,  but wow am I ready for it to just be OVER!  I honestly don't remember doing this much work the last two weeks of school when I was still going.  lol....Yes, it has been a few years but still.
So as you can see from my title this morning I almost forgot to make my (June) Greeting Farm page for my calender.  I usually have the calender hanging over my desk shelf,  but these last few weeks I have left my home made photo box up and it sits right in front of the calender.  So when I was cleaning off my desk (finally)  Saturday morning I put the photo box away and realized that it was almost half way though June and it was blank.  :O(   Poor June.
I was very happy however when I got a look at the Mystery Monday challenge over on the FFF challenge blog from last Monday.  It is of course too late to play,  but I really loved the design so that it how my June page came together.  Now all I have to do it get moving on July.   Hhhhmmmm, both the M&Ms' Birthdays are in July.  Wonder what I can come up with for that.... lol
Have a great day all.  I also have to apologize as I didn't realize until about two minutes ago that I forgot to take a picture of my Copics that I used.
Talk at you tomorrow.
Hugs,  Lisa G

FFF- BODY SNATCHERS CHALLENGE

Good Monday morning everyone.
I hope that you all had a great weekend.  We had a couple of wonderful days filled with sunshine and warm weather.  I actually had a few minutes yesterday to get in the pool with the family.  Jerry of course didn't stay in very long.  lol...  He isn't much for pool water that isn't at least as warm as a good shower.  Don't ask.   Anyway the kids and I swam and played for over an hour and it was very relaxing to have some down time.
So today I have a card that I made for my friend that is going to go to Tim McGraw's concert this coming weekend.  We made six posters for her to take with her on Saturday and one of them was to wish him a Happy Father's Day.  We came up with the idea to actually make him a real card out of my Greeting Farm stamps.   She has some awesomely close tickets to the stage, so she is hoping to get the chance to get his autograph.  :O)    So,  I thought wow this is going to work so well for the Body snatchers challenge that is going on right now over at the Farm Fresh Challenge blog...  He doesn't look half as good as Tim does, but I know she will love his black cowboy hat.  This girl has been to two of his concerts and she knows all of his songs.  We were driving Jerry crazy on Saturday as when we would finish one poster she would hold it up and scream  "TIM!"  It was super fun to help and to bug my sweet hubby.  heehee...
Well I am off to work again and the M&M's have this last week of school so I will wish you a wonderful Monday and I will talk at you tomorrow.
Hugs, Lisa G

WHAT YOU LOOKING AT?

Hi guys.
Are you having as much trouble with blogger as I am?  Gggrrrr!  I was trying to do the Tickled Pink blog hop and now I can't get to the next blog.
Ok, I will stop my complaining and get on with my post for today.  I really only have one picture of our Lucy to share today as I was super busy all week and didn't have anytime to film her shenanigans.  lol...  This picture was taken after she had said "please" for her treats and eaten them.  Her Daddy was holding her and rubbing her tummy.  He says she's not fat, she just puffy fir.  Yeah right!  lol... Anyway when I got my camera to take her picture out this is the look that she gave me.  I'm not sure, but I don't think she was really in the mood to get her picture taken.  heehee
I am getting some cards made today and then I am going to go relax in our pool for a couple of hours. Yay!  It has been so nice here the last couple of days and the solar blanket has made the water a wonderful temperature.
Have a great Sunday all.  Talk at you tomorrow.
Hugs,  Lisa G

MFT MINI PURCHASE...

Hi guys.
Well I've made it through the week and all I have to do is work a half day tomorrow. Come home and help Madison and her friend shoot a commercial for their school project. Then help my friend make posters for her Tim McGraw concert that she is going to next weekend.
I am sitting here relaxing for just a little bit and I got out my new Die-namics die from MFT Stamps and decided to make a couple of the small rolled roses.  At first I did some in just white and then tried to colored them in. (Yes, I need to make a Lindy stamp gang order!) However once the white was gone I didn't like them as much.  So, I got out some white card stock and colored them with my Copics before I cut the flowers.  I then used my guiling pen and got some very small and very pretty roses.  I wanted to add a little something more, so I used my Diamond Stickles just for the fun of it.
Ok that's all I have for now so  I had better head to bed.   I just haven't had the needed energy just to make my cards.  I can not wait to get back into my regular schedule so that I can have some more of my creative time.  lol...  I sound like a spoiled brat I know.  :O)
Hope you all have a wonderful start to your weekend and I will talk to you later.
Hugs,  Lisa G
