Good morning everyone.  I am sure that I am not the only one to say that I am sooooo thankful that blogger is back up and running.  Talk about feeling cut off from the world.  lol...Ok, maybe not that bad, but OMGoodness...I hate not being able to do anything when I need to.
So, I thought that I would add some wonderfulness to my blog this morning in place of one of my cards.  My cousin and his wife came into to town last night to see all of us.  I am embarrassed to say that we haven't seen each other in over 4 years and I was soooo excited to see them.  They are both of our kids' Godparents, and let me tell you Mitchell could not quit hugging them.  Madison had such a fun time telling them everything about school and what they are both up to...  My Mom and Dad came over as well and we all had such a good time getting caught up.  In short it was such a wonderful night.
Well, I am heading off to work but I wanted to share this feeling with you all.  I'm sorry Mom I had to share all of my pictures.  lol...
Have a great day everyone and be sure to give your loved ones a hug today.   Talk at you tomorrow on Sundays with Lucy.  :O)

MADE FOR YOU...

Good morning everyone.
I hope that your week is going smoothly.  I have to confess that I am really glad that today is Thursday.  It is my half day at work and I have so much running around to do that I am relieved to get the time to do it.
Well I am going to get right to my card before I change my mind.  You see I was not going to post this one as I messed up a spot on my stamp right after I had put the whole card together and I can see it (even after I touched it up) no matter what.  My DH and DD would not let me get rid of it.  So with great distress I am sharing this with you... lol..   I just had to color CC Abby up and this is the first one that I did.  I love this paper with her and I really liked how the papers and buttons came together.  I just wish I had not messed up.  :O(  Oh well, I still think the whole card turned out ok.  I also left the inside blank so that I could send it out to anyone I wanted to.
Ok,  I will just say that this is my example of just how cute the Greeting Farm stamps are. They can make any card look good no matter how much you mess up....  lol..
Well, I will quit complaining about my mistake and get myself moving so that I can head out to work. Have a great day everyone.  I will talk at you tomorrow.
Hugs, Lisa G

WHICH ONE WEDNESDAY, SKETCH #3 by RACHEL...

Good morning everyone.  It is finally Wednesday and you all know what that means.  lol....It is time for a new sketch over at The Farm Fresh  challenge blog.  Head over and you will be able to see the actual sketch and check out everyone else's wonderful creations.  Today's sketch is by Rachel and I have to say that it was a very fun sketch to work with. I am sure that I am going to use it again very soon.   Give it a go,  and be sure and put it up in the gallery for the chance to win.   I am in the process of making some more cards for a friend at work to give to her Granddaughter.  One of the cards on her list is for the 4th of July and when I first laid eyes on  WS-Elena from the Greeting Farm I  could smell summer fun.    lol...  I think that she just looks so cute!  She is ready to have fun at the park and eat some hot dogs with mustard on them.  heehee...  I just love her.  I found this great paper pad and knew that I wanted to put them together.  With everything that has been happening lately I felt like doing a patriotic card.  At first I used one of the saying that comes with the paper and I thought it said  "God bless America.".  I was so happy and when I was through I showed it to my DH.  He loved the card and then he pointed out that the "God was missing from the Bless America".  :O(   I tried to hand write it in, but it just did not look good,  so I took it off and put in Yankee Doodles instead.  I am sorry, but I refuse to take out or leave out God in the God Bless America.  I just won't do it, so I am thankful that my DH was on his toes for me.  lol..  Ok, I will quit my mini tirade.  Have a great day everyone.
Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments.  It really just makes my day.  Talk at you tomorrow.
Hugs, Lisa G

MONOPOLY WITH LUCY...

I really think that Lucy was hoping if she watched Madison long enough she would give in and let her have the table to herself.  As it was Madison was very irritated that Lucy would not stay off the table.  Here I thought I only had two kids... lol..Boy was I wrong!
Good morning everyone.  I just wanted to interrupt my weekly card post to share Lucy's attempts  to get invited to our Monopoly game.  You see this is her little table that she sits on when she is asking for her treats.  She also loves to sprawl out on it.  When we started  playing Monopoly  Madison wanted to be the banker and it is her game so we let her.  She also wanted to have a specific place to keep the bank money and all the property.  That is when the black table came into the story. It was originally Madison's table anyway, so her Dad and I had no problem with her idea for it to be the banking table.   Madison spent a lot of time taking Lucy off of it and Lucy spent a lot of her time getting back on it.  She just wanted to lay down and watch us play Monopoly after all.  However  she did almost dump all of the bank money on the floor.  We did play this game off and on for 2 days this weekend . As for the bankers table battle the whole thing ended in a drawl as Lucy stayed put and so did Madison.  lol...This is my world.  It consists of work, kids, hubby, a cat that thinks she is human or part dog (we're not sure yet) and my obsession with coloring The Greeting Farm stamps with my Copics. Not always in that order either.     lmbo   Hope you will come back tomorrow as we will be having the Sketch #3 over at TGF Farm Fresh challenge blog.  You don't want to miss it.  It is a great sketch that Rachel has come up with.
I had better get a move on.  The kids have more testing this week, (wish them luck)  and  I am hoping that today is better than yesterday. (Don't ask, just one of those days I tell ya.) Anyway, have a great day everyone and I will talk at you tomorrow.  Don't forget Glee is on tonight!  Wow, the day is already off to a great start.   lol

TODAY IS BRIGHTER..

Good morning everyone.
I hope that all you Mothers out there had a fantastic day.  We spent a quiet day with the kids watching movies and playing Monopoly with them.  lol... Even Lucy had to get in on that action.  Silly cat.
Well as you all know today is The Monday Case Contest over at TGF Farm Fresh Challenge blog.   When I sall the sketch that Rachel had picked out this week I just could not wait to pull out little Spotlight Anya.  She always makes me happy when I color her up and I have to confess that with the exception of the 40 minutes that I chatted with my Mom on the phone (Love you Mom) this whole card took me less than an hour to color and put together.  Don't you just love it when they come together like that?
Well guys because I am playing along with the FFF challenge blog this month  I am actually posting at night so I had better get done so that I can head to bed.  Have to work in the morning you know.   lol
I hope that you all have a great start to your week and I will talk at you tomorrow.
Hugs, Lisa G

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY...

Good morning everyone.  I thought that I would start today's post off by wishing everyone a very  Happy Mother's Day.  I hope that you all have a wonderful day with your family.  I have so much to share with you,  but I think that as today is a holiday I will keep it all for tomorrow's post.  I do however want to show you what I have been playing around with.  I wanted to use my new stamp Nurse Anya, (from the Greeting Farm) so I wiped away her nurse's hat and drew in the rest of her hair.  Just about this time I received the WS-Elena in the mail and when I put them together all I could see was Laura from the Dick Vandyke Show.  lol... I just think she looks so sweet in her peddle pushers.   I actually have always thought of my Mom looking a lot like her,  so this made a perfect Mother's Day card for me to give my Mom.  Once again let me wish me wish you all a Happy Mother's Day.  Talk at you tomorrow.
 Hugs,  Lisa G

FFF-THROWBACK CHALLENGE & EXCITING NEWS!

Good morning everyone.
I can not wait any longer,  nor do I have to.... I have some very EXCITING news to share with you today.  I was asked last week by Jessica and Rachel from The Greeting Farm if I would like to be a guest designer for the month of May.  Well, as you can imagine I ran into the bedroom and woke up Jerry and the M&Ms at 6:15 in the morning just to tell them.  Of course I made Jerry read the email just to make sure I was not misreading it. lol... What can I say, this is something I have wanted for so long and I just could not believe my eyes. I then sat down to use my very shaky hands to tell Jessica that "Oh Yes! I would very much Love to be a part of The Greeting Farm".
So, today starts my first day and I am playing along with the FFF challenge Throwback for the week.  The idea is to use some of your older stamps from the farm to make a card with.  I grabbed two of my favorite Miss Anya sets and swapped out the heads to make a card for my friend's  Birthday that is next week.   Be sure to check out the Greeting farm blog for all the fun that is going on there, then hit the  Farm Fresh Challenge blog so that you can play along as well.
I hope that you all have a great weekend and a very Happy Mother's Day.
Hugs, Lisa G
