WHICH ONE WEDNESDAY, SKETCH #3 by RACHEL...
Good morning everyone. It is finally Wednesday and you all know what that means. lol....It is time for a new sketch over at The Farm Fresh challenge blog. Head over and you will be able to see the actual sketch and check out everyone else's wonderful creations. Today's sketch is by Rachel and I have to say that it was a very fun sketch to work with. I am sure that I am going to use it again very soon. Give it a go, and be sure and put it up in the gallery for the chance to win. I am in the process of making some more cards for a friend at work to give to her Granddaughter. One of the cards on her list is for the 4th of July and when I first laid eyes on WS-Elena from the Greeting Farm I could smell summer fun. lol... I think that she just looks so cute! She is ready to have fun at the park and eat some hot dogs with mustard on them. heehee... I just love her. I found this great paper pad and knew that I wanted to put them together. With everything that has been happening lately I felt like doing a patriotic card. At first I used one of the saying that comes with the paper and I thought it said "God bless America.". I was so happy and when I was through I showed it to my DH. He loved the card and then he pointed out that the "God was missing from the Bless America". :O( I tried to hand write it in, but it just did not look good, so I took it off and put in Yankee Doodles instead. I am sorry, but I refuse to take out or leave out God in the God Bless America. I just won't do it, so I am thankful that my DH was on his toes for me. lol.. Ok, I will quit my mini tirade. Have a great day everyone.
Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. It really just makes my day. Talk at you tomorrow.
Hugs, Lisa G

This is just darling- what a fantastic patriotic card..I totally hear you, we need to see more of that in this country! Your sunglasses are so realistic and Elena definitely oozes that summer fun! This is great, Lisa!
Awesome card Lisa! I guess WeR felt they needed to be 'PC', which is silly but the Yankee Doodle works anyway! Love your coloring and those sunglasses look amazing!
Hope you have a fab day, it looks like it could rain here. :)
Wicked SWEET!!~
Wow Lisa! What a great card of Elena . . . never would've thought she'd be patriotic, but it definitely works! :) You totally pulled it off with the papers and that sentiment!
This is too cute Lisa. I love your whole layout and the way you colored her.
Hugs:)
