HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY...

Hi everyone.
I wanted to stop in real quick and wish all of you a Happy Mother's Day.  We are getting ready for our morning walk before the 80 to 90 degree weather sets in for the day, but I really wanted to say "Hi" and wish you all the best day ever.
We went over to my Mom and  Dad's yesterday and my Hubby and kids brought along a wonderful Chocolate cake with fudge frosting on it for both my Mom and I. Yes, now you know the real reason why I so need this morning walk. lmbo   :O)   Anyway on top of the cake was the cutest little flowers that were actually paper and I carefully took it off before we cut in and had a piece or two of that cake.
It didn't have any chocolate on  the paper back, so I didn't have to worry about it causing a problem with my card stock.  I just added a little bit of dimensionals and some ribbon around the card and I was pretty pleased with my spur of the moment card.  I let Madison talk me into using some of my 'Viva'  pearl pen and I think we got a little carried away, but as I said it's a show card and I won't be sending it to anyone.  :O)
So guys,  I hope you all have a Wonderful Day.  If your a Mom,  Happy Mother's Day, if you have a Mom, or it you are a Mom to Fur babies,  Happy Happy Mother's Day.  I hope you all enjoy your day,  you deserve it!
Hugs to you all. Thanks ever so much for hanging in there with me these last few months. You all mean the world to me.

Lisa, what a beautiful card! It certainly doesn't look like a "spur of the moment" card. Love the Viva pearl pen accents, the ribbon, and the faux stitching! Happy Mother's Day, and thank you for stopping by my blog and becoming a follower. I appreciate all your supportive and thoughtful comments!

Sounds like you had a wonderful Mother's Day Lisa, how can you go wrong with chocolate cake though, LOL! ;)
Your card turned out really pretty, one can never have enough pearls going on in my opinion! :)

Love the flowers, nice to recycle them like this. Glad you had a great Mothers Day, the cats "got" me a hanging basket, such good little critters! and Wimbly is fitting in much better so all is good.
