I hope that everyone has had a great weekend. I was off, but it was still a very fun, full and fast weekend for all of us. We were lucky enough to help some friends celebrate their anniversary and also get the opportunity to go out of town for the day.
Yes, we headed to the big city for the day on Saturday and you all know that means one tiny little single most important thing on my mind. Yep... I was able to go the a couple of crafting stores and even though it was not a (wallets full of money) kind of trip I was able to buy a couple of small items that I really wanted and still stay under $20 total! Yay me!!!
Well as my weekend is quickly coming to an end I thought I would get a quick card up to share with everyone. This is going to be a 48hr week for me at work, so I am not too sure how many posts I will be able to get up, but I want you all to know how much it truly means to me that you are hanging in there with me. I just love this. :O)
I realize that it isn't Halloween just yet, but it is one of the M&Ms favorite holidays. lol... Believe it or not Jerry and the M&Ms have already started working on this years graveyard decorations. That was one of the reasons I was able to hit up Michaels and Joanns. baa ha haa......
Anyway due to that reason I picked up one of their $1 stamps the 'Happy Halloween tag' (I have never gotten in on their seasonal stamps). I picked up couple Washi tapes from Crafter's Warehouse that were also on sale for $1 and I just had to use some of my new stuff. So you now know why the Halloween Card so early in the year. (I promise there won't be another one for a least a day or too. heehee...
Now I have to get busy on the three cards I NEED to make for three different people this week. I guess I have to quite playing around and go get busy and then go to bed. Wish me luck.
Have a great week everyone.
Hugs, Lisa G

Fantastic card Lisa, and love your spider he is just brilliant..so glad you had such a great weekend. Mine was quiet...no G/kids, just the way I like it..lol..after having them all week, it was a pleasure to sit in a quiet house and craft.Have a great week at work, and I can sympathise with you on the long hours, I do 56 a week and it is very tiring, although we are in different lines of work....work is work..lol..much rather be at home, but then who will pay for my crafty stuff..
luv CHRISSYxx
Such a fabulous and cool Halloween card Lisa! Love it.
Eeeeek....Halloween already?!! A cute card and the washi tape is FAB.U.LOUS!!!
That Spellbinder die looks fabulous on this card! Adds to the Halloween vibe!
Love how you framed the sentiment then looped the twine thru it, adds a great Halloween "touch"! I always feel so bad you rarely get to Michaels and I live so close. If ever you need something you just holler and I will pick it up for you okay?
Not only is this a great use of that fun washi tape, I also really dig how you wove the twine in the frame for the spider's web... too clever!
Glad to hear you got to enjoy a trip to Craft Warehouse, it's been months since I've gotten to check out what they have.
