Hello there...
So sorry for being MIA. I can't even blame it on the Internet company this time. I have just been so busy since last Saturday that I have barely even sat down at my desk let alone colored or touched my computer. It has been a good busy, but a busy busy none the less.
I had scheduled today as a vacation day so that we could take the M&Ms to the 'big city' that is just a little under an hour away. We had a great time and we even got to have lunch at Wendy's. The kids haven't been there since their youngest cousin was born and she is getting ready for 2nd grade this year, so you might say that really didn't remember it and they sure did enjoy it this time. :O)
We were able to find some awesome clothes and great prices at Old Navy. It is in the mall, and even in the middle of the week I was totally shocked as to how busy every place was. I have been in our smallish town since 1990 and you really do get used to being in your own little environment.
So, let me get to my project share with you. I have finally caved and picked up a SMASH book. I had originally bought the bigger one, then decided that I wanted the mini SMASH so that I could used it for my Copic reference book. It is a great size and I was even able to throw it in my purse and have my Copic lists right at hand. I ended up covering the book with kraft CS do to the fact that I was going to heat emboss some stamps on the front and back and as you all know I am SO SO bad at heat embossing that I messed it up. :O( So going with the flow I covered the Kraft book with the kraft papers then I took a second sheet of my kraft paper and printed off the adorable SC digi of this girl in the water with the shark. I then used my computer fonts and made my title of the book to look like no matter how hard it may seem or how bad you think it looks you really just need to 'Keep on Coloring'. Yes, I borrow from both the movies (Finding Nemo) and (Jaws) but I really like how this turned out.
So, I will keep you posted on all of my pages as I get through them. I really just wanted to share with you my idea book and the way I put together the covers.
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Talk at you later.
Hugs, Lisa G
I enjoy sharing my love of Copic Markers, making cards and my family as well as our crazy cats. You can find me here or on Instagram as gobeagirl_greetings. Come over and visit me. I would love to share this wonderful world with you.

Love me, love my cat....
Hi guys.
Sorry for the missed day there. I have had a hectic week so far and I am glad that tomorrow is Thursday. Only one more day and then it's the weekend once again. lol....
Ok, I'm not going to dwell on my week thus far as we all have weeks that we just need to get through. I just wanted to share a couple of really cute stamps that I have had for a while. This first one is the sentiment stamp (Love me, love my cat...) well, when I picked it up at Crafter's warehouse when we went for our yearly shopping trip I just knew I had to have it due to all these cats we seem to think we can't live without. lol... So when I picked up this super cute 'free' stamp from Saturated Canary right before I found myself without Internet I just knew that they were a match made in heaven.
When I first started to color her I was in the process of trying out some new hair color combos. That is the day that I came up with this combo and fell in love with it. It is my take on the golden blond look and it has now gone into my mini SMASH book for a reference. lol...Anyway, it took me days to color the rest of her as I just did not want to mess up her hair and her precious face. (I know get over it, but you all know I am an imperfect human with a I want it perfect human's brain!) Did that make any sense? lmbo
Moving on.... I finally decided to use the 'pb&j' 6x6 paper pad by BasicGrey that I had laying on my desk and just went for it. I hope you like her. I wanted her to look all cutie pie and bring out the white as well. Tell me what you think. I am still striving to be perfect and some days it just isn't there. lol...
Have a great day everyone. I will talk at you tomorrow.
Hugs, Lisa G
Oh, by the way... Let me know what you think of the picture sizes? I like to be able to see everything, so I put my pictures big. However it does make for a long post, so let me know what you think about it. Thanks!

Happy 14th Birthday...
No, your not seeing double or reading wrong.
Today is our Daughter Madison's 14th Birthday. :O) Yes, my babies are 1 year and 1 day apart. They are both going into the 9th grade and most of the people at school ask if they are twins. Mitchell is ok with it, however Madison has a little bit of problem with it from time to time. She gets mad a those that don't know, but she has no problem at all with them being close and sharing quite a few of the same friends.
As yesterday ended up being a very busy day and I am totally wiped out I am going to keep this uber quick and wish you all a great day as well as my Daughter a very Happy Birthday. Fortunately I only work a half day today so I will be off by 1pm to help them both celebrate their birthdays. :O)
Again, I wanted to give Madison a card that she wasn't expecting so I used an image from a pre-made card and cut it out. Then I used my Spellbinder die to make the cat licence say "14 Rules)
I had a great time making her card and as I am me I have already given it to her. She was very very happy with it and just loves how it looks.
Have a wonderful day everyone. I am off to dream land.
Hugs, Lisa G

Hapypy 15th Birthday...
Hi guys,
I am getting ready to head to bed, (as I have to work tomorrow) but first I wanted to get Mitchell's birthday card posted so that you all could see it. :O)
Because the M&Ms' Birthdays are Monday and Tuesday this week I decided that I really didn't want to put too much coloring into either one of their cards. I wanted to go with something just a little different that they would be expecting.
So, for Mitchell I decided to use my computer and type the number fifteen randomly around the page as well as use different size fonts to do it with. lol... I used grey for the color and then once I had cut it down to fit my card size I decided to add a few rub-on numbers in different colors as well t just to give it a little pop. I typed out my sentiment, backed it with a little bit of blue cardstock from PTI attached it with my Tim Holtz tiny attatcher and Voila! Instant teenage boy birthday card. I really love how it came out and it truly looks like a young man kind of card instead of a girl thing. I am thinking he will enjoy this one.
Well, as I mentioned I have to work in the morning and then after work we have a few family friends coming over to celebrate with us. Tuesday is Madison's birthday and it has turned out that we will be having a small party with the M&Ms' best friends as well as get to go out to a late lunch. Yumm! We are all looking forward to that. Can you say steak? I can and I can not wait!
Ok guys, time for me to hit the sack. I am so tired, I really hope I spelled everything correctly as spellcheck is not working for me at the moment. :O) Have a wonderful Monday and I will talk at you tomorrow.
Hugs, Lisa G

The Olympic Pawpaw Razzi...
Good morning to you all.
While you might be busy watching all the wonderful athletes play in the Olympic games we here at Casa Gobea are busy working with the three meow-sketeers. Yes, I must say they have been training so hard and just really working up a sweat. I have decided to show just a couple of the pictures that the Pawpaw Razzi was able to snap during this rigorous time. :O)
Hope you all are having a great weekend.

Happy Anniversary.....
Hi guys.
I am finally back! It would seem that my Internet company has finally decided to fix our problem. I could not believe that they did not give us so much as a one day's notice before they started to do the work they needed to do. You can believe that I was able to get the weeks worth of no web credited to my account. lol...Sorry, it cost enough when I do get to use it that I just don't think it is fair to pay for something you don't get to use. Anyway, I was able to go up to my Mom and Dad's to use their wireless, but I don't get that much spare time to head over there. :O( I however won't go on and on as I am finally Happy once again. So I am going to try to get to everyone's blogs this weekend after work tomorrow. I truly miss talking with all of you and seeing what you have all been up to. :D
So before all the fiasco with my Internet I was able to pick up one of Krista Smith's wonderful stamps from Saturated Canary. As you all know by now I just love her stamps and I just could not resist this little gal. I am going to admit to everyone that I have been reading the 'Fifty Shades of Gray' books and when Krista made this stamp reflecting the main character in the books I just had to have her. Everyday I keep reading and Jerry keeps listening (politely) to me tell him all about it, so I made him card that I will share with you all later.
However when I showed Jerry's card to my sister she asked if I could make her a card for her Anniversary. How could I resist? I love coloring these girls with their huge eyes and awesome hair.
My sister is a redhead and so I gave this gal a full head of red hair (my sister has always had super short hair) but I think she turned out great! I tried to make the inside simple so she could write whatever she wanted to and so I made the lace on the bottom look like a garter belt. I think it just adds to the sassy/sexy of this card. :O) lol... Once again, I am sorry for the dark pictures. Still working on that problem.
Well, I hope you like her. I know my sister did and she can't wait until next month when she can give it to her Jerry.

Sening you SMOOCHES
Hi guys.
I haven't fallen off the earth, but I sure feel like it. I have had a problem with my Internet since Tuesday afternoon and they are telling me that they are not a 100% sure that it will be fixed by this coming Tuesday. So, needless to say I am hoping for Tuesday, but in the meantime I am trying to remain calm and not freak out. lol...
I thought about scheduling a couple of cards I have made, but I really just don't feel it at the moment. So until Tuesday I figured that I would share my newest TGF stamp that I got in the mail last week. I think this little Amelia is just so sweet and I love her hair. I know you'll be shocked, but I actually made this just for fun.
So, as I am kind of cranky this weekend I will just wish you all a happy weekend and hope to talk to you Tuesday or Wednesday. :O)
Hugs, Lisa G
