Good morning guys. I sure hope that your week has gotten off to a good start. Did you watch Glee last night? We did, but I have to admit that it was not one of my favorite episodes. It had some good parts and we did laugh quite a bit, but I have to say that my favorite part last night was when they finally put Vocal Adrenalin in their place. I just could not believe how Jessie was treating Rachel... He is such a RAT! Oh well, it makes you happy that it is just a weekly show. :0) Now who wishes that the finale next week was a two hour show? Come on you can raise your hands. No one is going to see... heehee. I know the four of us want it to be. We're Gleeks! lol...
Ok, now let me get to it. My card today came together in a very weird way. I was thinking of the Monday mania challenge over at CA&F and when I saw that it was put your stamps along with a song onto a card I came up with a couple of great ideas. However, when I really got to thinking about the song part it came into my head that my parents anniversary is June 9th and when Jerry and I got married it was very important to me that they got to dance to their song at our reception. After all my parents have given me a very strong and healthy look at how to make a marriage last... Excuse me for a moment **MOM - DAD....if you don't want to spoil your card I suggest that you stop reading right now and come back tomorrow!!!**** Sorry, but I know that looking at my blog is one of the first things my Mom does in the morning. She always lets me know when I don't get a post in. lol....Anyway their song was and still is Too Young by Nat King Cole. Well let me tell you I already knew that I was going to make their card with the 50's Sweethearts from TGF. So adding the title of the song for the outside of their card and then making them a kind of poem from the lyrics of the song just seemed to fall in place. I hope that they love their Anniversary card as much as I loved making it for them. So, if they didn't turn back when I warned them to let me just say,"Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad. I love you both very much." To all of you, thanks for checking out my blog. It really means a lot to me. Hugs, Lisa G
