Hi guys.
I hope that you all had a wonderful weekend. We had super, super hot weather all weekend. In fact it is suppose to be up in the 90s again today. Last night at 9:30pm it was still 84 degrees out. I have to confess that I had a wonderful two days off. It was great even with the fact that Jerry ended up falling off our ladder and scratching up both his legs and body. He had decided to cut some branches off of our pine tree that I have wanted done. Needless to say he is moving around very slowly. (I have pictures of him, but he wouldn't let me share them. lol) After that little incident we played in the pool and had family over to play with us. It was loads of fun until Madison had an attack again. She is now scheduled to see a heart specialist next Monday. I am not going to sit by and just believe what is being told to us while my daughter can not even be outside swimming for longer that 30 minutes without getting totally wiped out. Sorry to get off track, but I am really concerned with what is going on with her. She will have pains in her sides and her legs will go out on her. Mind you she is only going to be 12 this coming Saturday. If you would keep her in your prayers I would be so grateful. We have not been told anything is wrong with her, but as her Mom I have my gut concerns that I am keeping to myself for now. My problem is that she is also concerned. She keeps asking me why she is starting to feel like she did in April. I am hoping to get some answers come next Monday.
Ok, well I was playing around with new techniques this weekend. So I decided to try out the wonderfully talented Angela's tutorial on how she colors hair. I really had a great time trying out her style. Thanks Angela. You are just so gifted. I wanted to use a stamp that had lots of hair so I decided on Pretty Head Lilly. She is so pretty and I have always loved her hair. My card isn't for anything specific today, just for practice. Well, I better hit the road. Off to work I go. Have a super good Monday and I will talk at you tomorrow. Thanks for letting me prattle this morning. I just seem to have so much on my mind, and I don't want to really put audible voice to anything. :D
Hugs Lisa G

She looks GORGEOUS, Lisa! Love how you colored all of her, I always thought these gals from TGF were pretty too! Amazing job on the card, I would say you don't need any more practice but I know we all get better with every card we make!
I'll be saying prayers for Madison and your family! Next Monday can't come soon enough. Take card and lots of hugs!
Its funny as I used this digi to practise colouring hair also. You have done a great job. She looks beautiful.
