TIME TO HIT THE BOOKS...

Hi guys.
Happy Wednesday to ya!
Wow, we are halfway through this week already. It seems bittersweet to me however. I am supper excited as I have a three day weekend starting Friday and then I will be off Tuesday and Wednesday (mini V.A.C.A.T.I.O.N for me) next week to get school clothes for the kiddies and to be home on their first day back. What can I say they may be 7th graders, but they are very happy to still have me be there for them. I love that about both of them. Everyone keeps telling me that it will end soon, and I am sure that they are probably right but I am so going to enjoy my babies (12 & 13) until then. lol....
Ok, I will move on. My card today was actually made by both Madison and myself for a friend at work. Her Granddaughter is going to be in 2nd grade this year and she wanted a card to send to her. Well, last weekend Maddie and I drug out my Cricut and went to town. It was so fun to use both my Cricut and my Copics in one project! Maddie was in charge of the cutting out and then I put it all together and decided that the books needed words...I used up some rub-ons that I have had forever and some little black buttons that my Sister just gave me. I then put the gold star button (also given to me by my sis.) on the inside because if you are in 2nd grade you sooo have to have a gold star. lol... I am very happy to report that my friend was very pleased with the card and both Madison and I were too.
Well, as always I am off to get this day underway so that I can get to that weekend. ASAP! heehee...
Have a super day.
Hugs, Lisa G
