INSPIRE...

Hi guys.
WOW, can you believe that today is the first day of school for my kids? I know that some of you have already had kids in school for a week or two, but I remember when we were little that we NEVER hit the books until after Labor Day. So anyway, we all got through the whole school clothes shopping yesterday...Yay! I am proud to say that I only have two thing for each that needs to be taken back and exchanged. I also feel so sorry for those ladies that work the dressing rooms...They were so busy and I know that from us alone she had a ton of clothes that did not work for one reason or another and they have to put all that stuff back on the racks. Man, we had this one lady that was just soooo sweet and she had no problem with both my sister and I going into the room to help Maddie... Even though I am bragging about how well everything went I will admit that we have yet to go shoe shopping.... Ugh! Madison is not an easy shoe shopper. One doesn't feel right the other isn't the right color and of course the ones that she likes are usually sold out in her size... Every YEAR! I am not kidding.... heehee
Ok, I won't make you suffer through any more. My card today is for Mitchell. I asked him to tell me what one of my stamps he likes, and if he could color it what colors would he use. So you are actually seeing what Mitchell thought of . I didn't realize until last night when he was showing his Uncle his book marker that I had made for him awhile ago that he had picked out the same guy...He just really likes CC Jack I guess. (So do I, I think he just rocks. lol...) Anyway this time he wanted Jack to have black hair with blue tips... So, without further ado here is Jack ( and he is over 5 inches tall) to Inspire Mitchell. Of course Mitchell's card has the music theme to it also as he too loves music. I am telling you they both amaze me when an older song from our generation comes on and they both can sing it word for word and usually know who the artist is also. I guess for me that is special as one of my fondest memories as a kid was when Mom would go to the store or work or something and Dad would put Santana on the high-fi really loud and my sister and I would help him clean the house. Music just has special powers I think. lol.... Have a super day. Talk at you tomorrow.
Hugs, Lisa G

Very cool looking card Lisa, Mitchell really knows how to pick the perfect colors! Great guy card!
We almost always started school the Wednesday before Labor Day, I think they thought it was easier to gradually work us into the five day week!
I can picture you and your sister rocking out cleaning the house, I never did that...it's hard to rock out to Celine Dion and Michael Bolton! ;)
