Hi guys.
I hope that you all have had a great week so far. We were able to get everyone off to 7th grade yesterday without any kind of hitch..Yay! They were both very happy with their schedules and they were both glad to see their friends that they didn't get to see during the summer. I do have to interject though by 4:30pm yesterday afternoon the long day and new schedule sure showed up with a vengence. Can you say tears and "I am tired!" times two? OMWord! I honestly can not remember doing this to my parents. Madison decided that she was so tired that if she didn't get a nap for an hour she would surely die! When she gets this bad it means that I have to cuddle in bed with her. Don't get me wrong I love a good snuggle with my kids, but at 4:30pm in the afternoon just about the time I need to start thinking about what we are going to have for dinner. Then about 45 minutes later Mitchell decided that he needed to cry. We are talking crying over just about everything and anything. I love my children, but I so do not love it when at the tender ages of 12 & 13 their hormones decide to go into overdrive at the same time. I know that they were just tired and I also know this is exactly one of the reasons that I took yesterday off, but OMG! :D Can I cry now? lol... Just kidding, we made it through and we are hoping to have a better evening tonight. Wish me luck.
Ok, enough about the trials and tribulations of middle school. Let's get into today's card. This is one of the cards that Maddie and I played with when we were having fun with my Cricut. As you know I love anything to do with cupcakes and this just fit right into my love. I had so much fun playing with the sizes of this card, but I also wanted it to be note size so that I could just send off as a quick note to a friend of mine. Now, I ask what would go perfect with a cupcake card? Well, Cupcake Anya of course! lol....I hope you like her. She is one of my new favorites. I know that I say that about each one of them, but I don't think I am the only person to say it... heehee....
Have a great day all. Wow, this week is almost over! Yay, I wish each week would be this quick for me at work. Oh, before I forget be sure to check out Zoe's blog Make it Crafty. She is celebrating her new DT and has some awesome blog candy to go along with the celebration. Check it out I promise you will love it! Take care and I will talk at you tomorrow.
Hugs, Lisa G
