Celebrate Us...

TGIF...
Good morning all.  It is finally Friday and I can't wait to get off from work and spend a bit of time on a nice long walk with the family.  The M&Ms have been back at school and feeling better so I think we are ready to hit the open road once again.  lol...  In fact we all were going a little stir crazy over the lack of being able to get out there in the early morning sunshine.  It has just been so beautiful and we love how it feels at 6am when the neighborhood is still somewhat asleep yet the sun is up and no coats are required.  Can't you just hear the birds chirping with the bright, but not too hot morning sun shining down on the dawn of a new day?    :O)
I have a little bit of sad news to share today. As of this morning we haven't seen our little Sunday around for about 4 weeks now.  One morning she left Jerry a couple of wings and a big liver on the front porch, then for the next two days she would follow him around as he did yard work or went out to read in the evenings.  The next thing we know she isn't coming around.  Jerry seems to think that she was hit or something.  Mitchell thinks that someone else has decided to take her.  I put off mentioning it as my boss says outdoor cats can come and go for several weeks at a time.  I know she was never ours, but I also know that Jerry is the one that is missing her the most.  Lately I have been missing her waiting on our porch when I come home from work.  :O)  I just hope that she has found a great home and is very Happy.  Anyway, just wanted to let you all know. Thanks for listening to our silly stories of our little cats.
Now, let me get to today's card.  I found some of these really pretty stacked medallion stickers called Dazzles from Hot off the press, so I thought why not make a card with just stickers and a little bit of Copics?  I didn't really need a card like this one, but I figured I can tuck it away for one of those times when I just want to give Jerry an 'I Love You' kind of cards.  lol.. He is so funny.  Every card I make him, no matter what the occasion he will keep them on his bedside table.  After he gets more than five of them I take them off and put them all in an album for him.  I honestly don't know what else to do with them..lol???
Ok guys, that's all I have for today.  I hope you all have a wonderful Friday followed by an even better weekend.  Talk at you tomorrow.
Hugs, Lisa G

I used the smaller squares on the right hand side to a bit of balance that looks better in person than it does in this picture.

Supplies:
rub-ons-Karen Foster Designs

So sorry to hear of "your " kitty cat...I had a cat called Gizmo...mad as a meat axe...used to wander off for days at a time...once she went missing for couple of weeks and came back with a kitten in her mouth, dumped it, went off and 2 hours later came back with another one...this went on for ages till there were 4 babies sitting in my lounge...not sure if they were hers or not, but she seemed to like them...lol..

gorgeous card, love the shine and very pretty butterfly..

luv CHRISSYxx

Awww, so sorry about your kitty.

This is a cute card! I am always buying stickers for the girls' memory books, yet I never seem to use them on a card, I'll have to try it!

As for the digi stamp altering- I totally suck at figuring this stuff out! I recently downloaded a program called Gimp that I have seen a lot of people using, and holy crap is it difficult to figure out! I want to merge stamps to create a scene. When you figure it out, let me know!! LOL! Feels like I need to go back to school!

Aww, I'm sorry to hear about Sunday leaving. I too hope that some other family has just decided to take her in. :)
Glad to hear that you were all able to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather that we've been having. And the stickers colored in with Copics looks pretty cool on your card. Who doesn't like to try fun, new things!

Lovely card Lisa, really like how you can see the shimmer in it and what a cute story about Jerry! So sorry to hear about Sunday though. I am gonna think happy thoughts that someone saw her and she was so friendly they just started feeding her like you did and she is hanging out with them now.
