SEW EASY AT THE GREETING FARM

I hope that you all had a great weekend. My Saturday started with a great day at work and when I got home there was a package waiting for me. It seems that my DH decided to surprise me with an early Valentine's Day gift. He was sweet enough to have ordered me the February release from the Greeting Farm. I didn't even know that he knew how to get to TGF store let alone purchase anything from them. :O) I asked him what he would have done if I had won the whole release and he said I could have given the extras as part of a blog candy. How cute is that? He is learning blog terminally... lol... Well you can guess what I spent the rest of my weekend doing. Yes, I just had to catalog, color and make card with these wonderful stamps.
As you all know though my favorite part of yesterday was that Glee was back on again! I have to say they did not let me down at all. I can't help it, it just always puts me in a good mood to watch some Glee. This week we get a double dose. YES! Glee on Tuesday as well... Can you think of a better way to start off your week? I sure can't.
Ok, as it is Monday and Mitchell has no interest in going to school this morning (I can feel a major fight coming on) I will get to it. My card today is one that I made for the FFF challenge over at the Greeting Farm. The challenge this week is to sew on your card. I thought about it and I decided as I used faux stitches on my Relay card that I should at least make an attempt to sew something on this one. I didn't bring out the sewing machine (being lazy) , but I did get my Tim Holtz, idea-ology ruler out. I used the side that has the holes in it for just this type of project. I am telling you it could not have been any easier! lol... I also wanted this card to have a feel of a teenager doodling on her notebook, so I used some sub-ons and I ruffed up the edges to have that warn out look as well. What can I say I was in a theme kind of mode....lol..
Alrighty that's it for me today. Have a great day. I will talk at you tomorrow.
Hugs, Lisa G

Gonna have my husband read your post, maybe he will get some ideas! Love the stitching, I like how it is sort of chunky, really stands out and makes a statement. Nice card.
