Hi guys. I hope that you all had a great weekend. Mine was out of this world good. I did work a half day on Saturday, but I sure had a great rest of the weekend. If you caught my post late Saturday night you already know that my whole family was in town on for most of the evening and I have to admit that the older we all get the more I treasure those kinds of days. My kids were able to play with their older and younger cousins and meet their new second cousin, Gabrial. They had so much fun. In fact we all did. I tell you with all three of our families at my Mom and Dads it sure get LOUD! lol...
I was able to get a few cards made yesterday and I thought that I would get started sharing them with you. My card for today is one of the last ones that my friend at work had ordered for her Granddaughter. I know it is still early for Thanksgiving, but I had such a good time coloring and decorating this one. I saw this stamp over at All That Scraps and just knew that I wanted it to make THIS card... I sure hope that Debbie likes it as much as I do. She (the stamp) was super fun and relaxing to color and I am really quite pleased with how the whole card turned out. I used a new bow making technique that I watched Amber do. You can check her out here. She has three different videos showing the ways that she makes her bows and this was one that I had never tried. It is super easy and I think the results are wonderful. heehee I also discovered crinkle ribbon. OMWord! Where has it been all this time? I love this stuff... It is sooo pretty and so fun to work with. Love it! :o)
I am also making this card to summit to AmyR's ATG contest giveaway . Be sure to check it out here. While you are over at Amy's blog be sure to check out her fantastic work. I am adding in one last picture at the bottom of the post that shows a better image of AmyR's Happy Fall sentiments stamp set that I purchased last year from ATS. Using one of her wonderful stamps is one of the requirements for her contest. Easy!
Ok, I guess that will get this week started. Have a great day all and I will talk at you tomorrow.
