I hope everyone is having a great start to their week. We were really busy at work today, and that lead to me not getting home until 7pm. Not too big of a deal, but due to the fact that I was being lazy yesterday that means that I need to make this post a quick on so that I still have time to paint my finger nails. lol.... One has to have their priorities straight. lol..
Last week I placed a small order from The Greeting Farm and I was so excited that it came in the mail Saturday. The main reason I placed the order was to get the newest addition to the farm. Yes, none other than 'Picture Perfect' Anya and Ian. I just had to have this set! They are just as adorable in person as the whole DT made them look on paper. :O)
Ok, I know I said this was going to be a quick post, so let's get to my card. Of course I wanted to ink my new stamps up right away so I headed over to the TGF blog to see what the FFF Challenge was this week and I could not believe it, this week the theme is 'Picture This'! That's right, all you needed to do was make a card or project that fit the theme.
Well, I had the perfect stamps and I had long ago purchased the Polaroid die from LF as well as some of the Idea-ology Film Strip Ribbon from Tim Holtz, so I knew I was good to go. I decided that my card should show Ian taking a picture of his girl Anya. I gave Anya a pretty dress that she borrowed from her friend WS-Dressy Ebony-digi.
Once Anya was all dressed up all I needed then was to add a little of the film strip ribbon, some of those awesome enamel dots that I am obsessed with at the moment and I had my card ready to for the FFF challenge over at The Greeting Farm. You can check it out here and play along as well.
So I hope you all have a great week. I hope you like my card as much as I do. It was so fun to put this one together. I have a couple other cards to share with you this week, so I am sure I will talk at you all later.
Hugs, Lisa G

:Dxx
What a creative card! Love how you've used this picture perfect set! Nice color choices that really pair well with the film strips.
Such a fun and fantastic card Lisa, love the head swap on Anya to really create the model and photographer scene!
I have these two on their way to me too and I can't wait to ink them up. :)
And I know you asked where I get my Doodlebug paper and goodies and it's all been online, nothing local, though I bet the Craft Warehouse in Wenatchee has it. I got what I've been using from CC Designs and I'll be getting some of the stickers and 12x12 papers from twopeasinabucket.com when they finally get it in. Hope this helps!
Lisa, I am soooo jealous! I have to save up for the Picture Perfect set. I also want the polariod die set too....hee, hee. Gotta start dropping hints for xmas to the hubby.
