I hope your Sunday is off to a great start. I have been busy sorting through my stamps and converting them over to the 'Avery Elle' way of doing it. Yes, I have jumped on that band wagon. The problem is that I only purchased 2 packs of them (I wasn't totally sure I would like them) and now everyone online is sold OUT!... :O(
So, before I get to today's card I just want to warn you all, and to see if you are as bad as I am. I happen to be obsessing over 'enamel dots' and some old 'rub-ons' that I have had for the last six years. I am also very much into using 'Washi tape' on just about every card I make lately. So with that disclaimer said, I will get on with my latest card.
I decided that I could spare a couple of my very precious and very few enamel dots to work on a card that has the whole chalkboard look going on. Then I found from my stash a very cute rub-on from daisyd's (don't even know if they are still in business) that I just love. These rub-ons are over six years old like I said, but they still work just as good as the day I purchased them. So getting back to my card I mounted the rub-on to some 'Smokey Shadow' PTI cardstock and then added in some of the patterned papers from the 'MME' Chalk Studio 6x6 pad that I have. Added a little of the Washi tape from the same collection and there you have it.
I have always loved this little sentiment, and it has always made me think of my Maddie girl, so guess who is getting this card. Just a kind of 'I love you more than life itself ' kind of card. She doesn't do pink and black anymore, but I am hopeful that I will get away with it. lol... I don't worry that she is more of a black and deep purple kind of girl as I have always been a huge fan of black and Jerry's and my wedding was Black and White, so who am I to judge. :O) She is still sweet, so I am ok with it all.
Ok, I have one last thing to bug you guys about before I let you go for the day . I have been looking online all last week and this weekend for Doodlebug Sparkles and for the new 'Wink of Stella' glitter pen in clear. Every store online that I know of is sold out of both or don't stock them. Does anyone know where I can get either thing from? I would so love it if you had some suggestions. Thanks so much in advance.
Have a great day and I will talk at you tomorrow.
Hugs, Lisa G

Oh so pretty...love the sentiment!
Wish I could help you locate your "out of stock" supplies...but I've never heard of them! LOL!
:Dxx
Try Amazon for the Wink of Stella Glitter pen in clear. As for the Doodlebug Sparkles...not sure what that product is. Btw, your card is GORGEOUS! Those enamel dots add texture and visual interest to the card without taking over. Beautiful card design too!
Oh, I wish I had known earlier about the pen, my LSS has them and I went last week but they are about 45 minutes away so don't know when I will get back. Your card is gorgeous! I love the doodling aspect from the stickers and that sentiment is lovely. Still watching for enamel dots but none at my local Michaels yet.
Aw Daisy D's, I miss them too... so sad when they went out of business. Good to know their rub-ons still go on like butter since I'm sure I've got a few hanging around, LOL! It makes for a very pretty pink and black card for Maddie. :)
I'm not sure about the DB Sparkles though CCD has all the Sprinkles epoxy dots in stock here: http://www.ccdesignsrubberstamps.com/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&search_in_description=1&keyword=sprinkles
Hope you get what you're looking for!
