HOME SWEET HOME...

Hi guys. It is Monday once again, and I am getting ready to go to work. The good news is that Friday should be a half day for me and then I will have (wait for it......) two days off! Yay, I can get through this week right? Anyway I actually got some time yesterday to make up a few cards. Can you see my huge smile? I was so happy to sit and color. I do have to admit that after I finished making them and taking all my pictures I just sat here trying to figure which one was going to kick off the week. heehee I am such a dork sometimes. Thankfully Madison helped me out and I was able to pick one of my stamps from TGF... I purchased it at their farmers market last month and had yet to ink up...This is the very first Oliver and Amelia set that I have ever purchased. I really think they are adorable and I can't wait to get some of the other sets. I really have been wanting to get the My Favorite things and Buddies sets, but I have to wait until they go to farmers market. Really need to watch the old pocket book until after winter is up. Whaaaa! I know I shouldn't complain, but in my perfect world my kids would not have to go to school and I would work from home (doing this of course) and it wouldn't be work because we would have enough money for it all and I love to do this anyway.
My awesome Mom and Dad keep telling me that they hope to win the lottery some day so that I could have a house of our own and of course Dad would just have to buy his Daughter (ME) a new Jeep! OK, back to the reality check of the fact that I am heading to work so I had better get on with it. lol... My card today was made for the All tied up farm fresh challenge over at TGF blog. You can check it out here.
As you all know I love, love the Greeting Farm stamps and any chance I get to play with them for a challenge and the chance to win one of their awesome stamps I am so ready to get to work. Ok, so now you know I used Oliver on my card with some twine that I braided to give it a little more dimension. As for the brads that are gems I purposely made them look caddy wompass, but now that I look at it , it just looks like I made this card at three in the morning, heehee... I hope that you all have a great week and don't have to work to hard. Talk at you tomorrow when I will share some new digi stamps that I found and love!
Until next time, Lisa G

Fantastic Thanksgiving card, Lisa and so clever to use Oliver on it, he's perfect! Love the scene you've created and carried into the inside, awesome card! A+++
