OUR FAMILY...

Sorry for all the pictures, but you know how had it is to take pictures of an easel card. lol

Good morning everyone.
It is finally Wednesday and I have to admit that this week has been a pretty good one so far.  We have been busy as work, but that is ok as it just makes it go faster and that makes me get home quicker.  lol...  I was off yesterday by 5pm and when I got home the kids and Jerry were all out at the pool.  :O)  It was the perfect first day of summer and I was more than happy to get into my swimsuit and hit the pool with them.  We ended up playing around until well after 7pm when we all decided that we were tired and starving. lol...  I am so happy to see that the M&Ms are just like my side of our family and LOVE to swim.  I used to spend most of my summers out by our pool either swimming or laying out and suntanning while reading a good book.  My sister is a red head and she has always burned very bad.   One time we decided that if we got her towel wet and put it over her she would be able to layout with me.  OMGoodness she burned so bad she had blisters all over.  She never ever stayed outside with me again.  Hense the need for a good book.  lol.... Sorry Chris.  Mind you this is the same Sister that talked me into helping her to see if our Cocker Spaniel could land on her feet like a cat when thrown up in the air.  Let me tell you the next time my Mom had me get the dog to take to our new home she bit my face and I had to have stitches.  I guess that make my Sister and I even huh...   Live and learn.

Ok,  now that you know how dumb we were when we were kids I will get on with my card for today.
This just started out when I noticed how wonderful the black swirl design was on some of my leftover Hollywood Vogue paper.  I just love the design, so I wanted to play around with it.  Then next thing I know I had put Sasha's picture on a metal circle with some Glossy accents.  Then I wanted to try out some of my new rolled roses die from MTF.  I fussy cut the leaves and just played from there.  I love the saying on the top and needed something for the bottom so I uses some of my black lace that I had and added the pearl brads that I got for a good price.   I love how it turned out and I am keeping it on my shelf on my desk to remind me each and everyday how lucky we are to have each other.
I hope you all have a wonderful day and I will talk at you tomorrow.
Hugs,  Lisa G
