WELL DONE....

Good morning everyone.
I hope that you all had a great start to your week.   Yesterday was such a warm and sunny day.  You just could not be in a bad mood.  lol... It is still early, but it is looking like today with be more of the same.   Honestly  I can not believe that today is the first day of our Summer.  That and the 4th of July is just around the corner.   Where does the time go?  Next thing you know I'll be making Christmas cards and wishing for a couple extra weeks to get the M&Ms all the things that I think they can't live without for Christmas.  lol....
However,  right now I am still stuck on the wonderful Princess Collection from The Greeting Farm.  So, for my card today I used Princess Collection no. 02.   She is just so pretty!  I had a few scraps of  the Webster's Pages left over and that is how I got the idea to paper piece her gown together.  I just love this effect, and I think it came out better than if I had just colored it.  I also used some of the new Prima pearls and gems that I got and now I really wish that I had purchased more than one set.   It was so fun to work with and I love how it looks as well.  I really want to get some in brown, but I can't seem to find any online.  :O(   Oh well,  I'll just have to keep looking.  lol...
Well,  I had better get a move on.  I want to say thank you so much for all the sweet comments that you guys leave.  I know I have said it before, but it really does mean so much to me.   Have a great day everyone and I will talk at you tomorrow.
Hugs, Lisa G

Hey Lisa, I love this Princess, she is such a sweetie and her dress looks fabulous all paper pieced! You know you can color up pearls and bling with your copics. So if you can't get brown ones, buy a light color one and then color it with a brown copic marker. I do this all the time and it works beautifully!

Hope you have a lovely Summer day, it is sooo cold here, gotta love winter...hehe!

Ditto on Emma's comment...any color of pearls are available if you have Copics!

WooHoo for summer days!

Oh, WOW! Your cards just get more gorgeous everyday Lisa! Her dress looks amazing and the bling is perfect! Like the other two gals said, it's really easy to color the gems and pearls with your Copics to get the color you want! I always buy extas of the clear and white ones just for that purpose.
I can't believe how fast the year is going...hopefully we can relax and enjoy some of our summer before fall is here! :)

So sparkly and glittery and the paper is just beautiful. Looks like it was meant for a princess all along! Will keep an eye out for the pearls in brown for you!

Lisa this is so BEAUTIFUL. Her little dress is awesome. You did a remarkable job on her. She is too sweet. I do the same thing with my markers as some of the girls mentioned. If I don't have the right color if jewels, pearls, buttons, etc..I just color them copics and they match every time. I have even colored flowers and satin ribbon with my copics. I am loving seeing all your beautiful creations you have been creating. Just awesome.
Hugs:)
