It's almost time for Graduation!

Hi Guys,
Can you believe that the Memorial Day Weekend has come and gone once again?  I honestly do not know where this year has gone.  I do know however that my oldest M has been telling what the day was and the date for the last two months  What he doesn't realize is that I am VERY aware on the date and the fact that this time next week both of my M&Ms will be graduating from the 8th grade!
I know a lot of people think it is somewhat silly to make a big deal out of it.  I however graduated from 8th grade and even though it was from a private school I just always thought that was what you did.  The M&Ms will be graduating and then they will be going to a Graduates only dance following the ceremony.
The reason I brought this up is that I go to thinking about the trip I still need to make this coming weekend to get them both something formal to wear and the fact that I have made many an announcement for other people.  Well as you might have guessed I have also been trying to get everyone that wants to come to remember both the time and date.  So, with everything going on Jerry and I decided that I should make an announcement/invitation kind of card to send to family and friends that the M&Ms are hoping will come and celebrate this fun time with us.  I am very proud to say that Madison made the honor roll and Mitchell only missed it by one grade. (He was upset at first, but now he sees it as a good reason to work even harder next year so that he can be his sister.  lol...
Madison and Mitchell both helped me to pick out how they wanted these to  look while Jerry and I came up with what we wanted the inside to say.  We are all very pleased with how they turned out.  It just so happens that their school colors are the exact same as the announcements I made for my Cousins' daughter, so I had an extra Various sitting in the drawer.  Yay for me!  ;O)  I was a very good Mom and put them all in the mail Thursday, so the M&Ms are letting me share them with all of you.

Have a great day and let me know if you see any of the ATG adhesive on sale anywhere this weekend as I am now completely out of it.  :O)  It would seem that making all these announcements ran me out of any and all that I had.  :O(
Hugs, Lisa G

Congrats to the M and M's! I love the card and think it was an awesome idea to make little reminders. As far as ARG tape goes, I get mine with a 40% off coupon at Michaels or buy a bunch from the Tape Depot online so don't know if that helps at this point.

Awwww, you're such a good mom! My oldest daughter, Hunter, just graduated from middle school as well! The thought of high school really freaks me out! I'm getting too old!
