trick-or-treat...

Reminder time:  Halloween Blog CANDY, click HERE!!!

Good morning all.
I want to welcome my new subscribers to my blog.  Thanks for becoming a follower.  I hope you are enjoying my Halloween cards and I am very happy to have you here.
As for all of you that have been hanging out with me all this time, I really want to thank you for all the love and support that you have shown me.
So I'm going to get right on my card for today.  This card has been the one that I have been putting off since last week when I colored up this ADORABLE Skeleton Ian.  He is a digi stamp from The Greeting Farm and I have had him for a very long time and never really inked him up until last week.
The reason that it has taken me this long to add him to a card is that I really loved  the way he turned out.  I was going for those costumes that have the yellowish white bones that glow in the dark on the black shirt and pants.  I'm sure you all have seen them or even remember they.  lol... So, as I am trying to expand my stamping and coloring abilities, I embossed Ian's mask and his tiny little bones with clear embossing powder.  I have to confess that I am very proud of myself with how he came out.  I even fussy cut out his mask so  that I could give it a more 3D effect once I pop dotted it on top of the original mask. .
Once I decided that he was going on a card tonight I also decided that his greeting had to be embossed as well.  I am so happy to tell you that both the outside greeting and the inside sentiment are both embossed with white embossing powder and I only had to do it the one time.  Not one mess up!  :O)  I truly have to thank my blogging friend Amy as she is the one that sent me a VersaMark stamp pad a very long time ago and I just now have gotten brave enough to try it again.  I am telling you, I could not get that technique to work for me for a very very long time now.  So a big hug and many many thanks Amy!
So guys, as you can tell it is very late once again.  Mitchell has been taking notes for his 'World History' class all week,  and even though he starts about an hour after he gets home from school it takes him a very long time to get them done.  That means he had been staying up until 11:30 or 12:00 am and  I always stay up with him. (He hates to be in our living room by himself at night.)  You can imagine that I am super tired, so off to dream land I am headed.
Hope you all have a wonderful day and I will talk at you later.
Hugs, Lisa G

PS: I want to thank everyone that mentioned where I might be able to pick up the Wink of Stella clear pen that I so desperately want.  I did find that Amazon has it in a gold, silver & clear set.  Unfortunately do to having a family, I will have to wait until payday rolls around.  Grrr... what's a girl to do but wait most patiently. lol...I am sure that most of you know how that is, the teenager comes home from school and "Oh Mom I need this for school tomorrow!  We HAVE to have it!"  lol.... yes, that means goodbye Wink of Stella for just a little longer.  Anyway ran off on a tangent. Sorry.  Just really wanted to thank you all.

Just wanted to show off my embossing.  I think for the first time it turned out really nice for me.

Sorry just had to show off my emossing again. :O)

I totally saw the glow in the dark skeleton bones before even reading that that was the look you were going for... you nailed it girl!
And I'm so glad you are finally enjoying the embossing, it adds such a cool touch to your awesome card! :)

I hope that both you and Mitchell can get well rested this weekend after all these long nights of studying. :)

So adorable! Totally love the glow in the dark! And you and Amy have made me add the enamel dots to my "must have" list. They really are a fabulous embellishment.
