Hi guys. I hope that you all had a great Monday. I don't know about where you live, but living in Moses Lake it can get a little windy. Yesterday that was a major understatement! We don't have to worry about tornadoes or anything quite that bad. I don't understand living in the tornado belt. I am a CHICKEN! I just could not and would not do it! When I was about 6 or 7 we lived in Georgia and had a tornado run between our house and the neighbors as we all (Mom, Dad, Sister and baby brother) crowded in the dark basement behind our mattresses. BLLLLaaaaaa...Anyway, getting back to yesterday we had wind gusts up to 56mph and the dirt was making it look dark outside for quite awhile. They shut down I90 for quite awhile due to visibility problems and numerous accidents. They also closed the main roads to and from Ephrata and the Tri-cities. I was working and the kids were safe at school, so the wind didn't bother or scare me it was just a little irritating. It was just one of those weird days... So far this morning it's not to bad..
On the very bright side, Madison finally headed back to school and didn't have too bad of a go with it. Mind you she was very tired when she got home, but all in all a very good day. I want to thank all of you once again for your concern and support. You have no idea how special you are to all of us. While I am on the line of special people I want to share with you a wonderful surprise that I received in the mail on Saturday. It was two wonderful cards (one to me and one to Madison) from my sweet friend Amy. I am sure you all know how talented she is, and she was so very sweet and sent us a Darby & Penelope stamp that is part of her Sweet November Stamps. I of course had to ink them up right away. Amy will be starting to preview her new releases tomorrow, but she gave me permission to give you a sneak, sneak peak of these two darlings. You can check out Amy here to see her talents in full bloom...If you don't know Amy already I promise you will love her.
Well, I have talked at you long enough. I sure have missed everyone. Have a great day and I will talk at you tomorrow. Hugs, Lisa G

I'm with you, I like where we real natural disasters to threaten us! And I must say the times I go to Spokane, it is always windy through your neck of the woods.

P.S. So glad Madison is feeling better. I sent out your blog candy Monday and a card for sweet Madison. I mailed her card by itself. When you do get your package please forgive me as I didn't sign your card, but then again you may want to send it to someone. So you know what that means.. I will have to send you another one. One that I signed just for you!! Hope you enjoy your goodies and Madison loves her card. YOu will see when you get it that you have seen it on my blog, but I have been waiting for the perfect little girl to send it to. SO tell Madison that she is that perfect little girl I thought of!! Thank care and sending you hugs:)
