Halloween Candy! click fight HERE!!!
Good morning all.
It is finally Saturday and I for one am very very happy for that. It has been a long week that made it most impossible to post anything for you guys to see. Ok, now with my grumping out of the way I do have yet another Halloween Card to share today. This card idea has been in my head all week, but first I had to find the 'PERFECT' Jar to use. I knew that my friend Amy had made a wonderful jar for her Sweet November Stamps, but when I headed over to CC Designs I could not find it. Thanks to Amy's help I was able to click on the link she sent me. I was really happy to buy this in digi form as I didn't know exactly how big I wanted it to be. This allowed me to play around a little more with my options as well. Thanks ever so much Amy, you are a life saver.
I really thought it would be fun to make a card that had a jar full of eyeballs in it. So I picked up a pack of googly eyes and put some Copic ink on just a few of them to make them stand out just a little more from all of the rest of the eyes that I knew I was going to put in there. Once I colored the mason jar all I had to do was add in all my eyeballs and "TaDa!" Jar full of Eyeballs just sitting on the counter. :O) Sorry the idea just makes me smile. It was so much fun to make. I hope that my idea comes across like I could see it in my mind. I didn't have a die to cut out my jar, but it was super easy to trace around my jar and do it the old fashion way. :O) lol..
Well guys, I am going to run. Still in the mood to make a few more Halloween cards. I am a little mad at myself at the moment because a few years ago when I first got into blogging and Copic coloring I had purchased a Halloween stamp set from All that Scraps now (CC Designs) and for some reason I can I can not find them. They has just vanished!!! GGrrrrr.. If you hear a loud noise it isn't a volcano erupting or a fireworks exploding, it will just be me going crazy looking for them.
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend and I will talk at you later.
Hugs, Lisa G
Totally out of my Licorice Twist black Bazzill CS and I had to use Smokey Shadow from PTI. Not my favorite, but didn't want to use orange or purple for this card. :O( |
M&Ms picked out the sentiment. I wanted it to read..."I always feel like somebodies watching me" Do you have that song in your head now? I do! lol |
