BOO!

Halloween Candy...click here!!!

Hi guys.
I hope that you all had a great Wednesday.  I haven't had much time in the evenings this week to get into making a hand colored card, so I decided once again to take the easy way out.  :O)   When I say easy way out I mean check out a craft magazine and CASE a great card that someone else took a the time to come up with.  I tend to not buy craft magazines as it makes me think I need to come up with a different way to make my cards.  Then I get into the mood of thinking mine aren't good enough and then I just don't have any fun.  You can see the problem as I love to color and I love to make my cards for friends and family as well as for my blog.  So, the only reason I mention this is because my friend at work brought me the latest issue of 'Paper Crafts'.
What, I couldn't be rude and not look at it... lol... So I sat down for a few minutes this evening and truly enjoyed it.  I also found a super cute, yet simple card that I just had to CASE.  I hope that if I mention who the designer of the original card it that no one will be upset with me.
So, here goes nothing.  This card can be found on page 37 of the September/October 2013 issue of Paper Crafts Magazine.  The designer of this adorable card is Heather Campbell and I just love it.  When I started my version of  Heather's card I just had to add in my favorite obsession at the moment,  my dots.  Yeah, I said it, Dots, as in enamel dots as in I want them ALL!!!     Ok all better now, so I just had to give my card a cute inside to go with it's outside.   No problem there.  You all know how much I love to make my cards look good on the inside.
I hope you all enjoy my take on Heather's card.  Heather if you get wind of my card I truly hope you don't mind.  I just really wanted to give it a go and see if I could make it like yours.  :O)

Have a great day everyone.  I will talk at you later.
Hugs, Lisa G

What a fun CAS Halloween card Lisa! I can see why the design in the magazine caught your eye and inspired such a cute creation. The wonky strips of washi tape are just fantastic and what card is complete without a few enamel dots these days?! LOL ;)
I hope you and the M&Ms make it to the bookstore after school!
